Catching up after PaizoCon and a dismal week.
We lost 45 staff members in an unexpected RIF last week (about 5% of total employees). It was easily the worst layoff I ever saw, and I've been through some doozys over the years.
I'm fine (academic units weren't affected) but a lot of my friends aren't. We lost so many good people who made such strong impact on our students... anyway, it's been a week to say the least.

For those interested, if you are attuned, Attenuate can provide first aid at a distance and restore you to 1 hp if you go down. This is in addition to whatever effect he may be able to deliver from his array of serums in the syringes.
Biohacker Mechanics:
Attuned Microlab:
“You can also attune your custom microlab to a number of individual creatures equal to 3 + your key ability modifier. This takes 10 minutes, which you can combine with the time needed to prepare your biohacks for the day, and the creatures must be present, willing, and able to cooperate with the scan. If you attune your microlab to creatures in excess of this number, the oldest attunements beyond your maximum number end. Otherwise, attunement lasts 24 hours, after which changes in environment and the target’s condition require the microlab be re-attuned. Under some circumstances, you can deliver biohacks to attuned creatures using ranged injection weapons without making an attack roll.”
Minor Booster Biohack:
“Using a minor booster biohack allows you to attempt some Medicine checks on targets you affect so long as the target is within range of your custom microlab. This doesn’t require any additional time or action beyond making the attack. The tasks you can attempt with such a Medicine check depend on your level, and they don’t have the duration of normal booster biohacks.
At 1st level, you can attempt a Medicine check to administer first aid. At 3rd level, you can attempt a Medicine check to treat drugs or poison, though on a successful check, the target gains a +4 bonus only on the next saving throw it attempts against the drug or poison, and that saving throw must occur within the next hour.”
First Responder Feat:
“You provide quick, expert care to save lives in the direst moments.
Prerequisites: Medicine 1 rank
Benefit: When you succeed on a check to administer first aid to a dying creature while using a medkit, they regain Hit Points equal to half your ranks in medicine, minimum 1. A creature can only benefit from this ability only once per day. This does not count against their ability to benefit from treat deadly wounds.”

Thanks. That's cool. I've not played a biohacker before and am not very familiar with the class beyond some basics.
That's fun and a good fit thematically for Attenuate.
My first time too. Attenuate’s more powerful biohacks can restore Stamina or improve the efficiency of healing for a short time.

Conference prep and then the conference crushed me. FLying home tomorrow. With luck I'll get some nice airport time and an internet connection.
Weekend will probably be tons of catch up on chores and with family.
Ohh. I was interuppted while composing my reply to the other queries. Will respond in my next post, early next week.
Got to get back to the grind now.

SuperS, (and all) my reading of gravity hold is that it 'immobilizes' a creature's gross position, but not smaller movements like gripping and aiming a pistol. I just want to make sure we're on the same page because 'immobilize' could be taken as restricting those smaller movements. If you were counting on a paralysis type effect and can't argue me out of my interpretation, then you may try a different action.
Thoughts?
When you are attuned or fully attuned, you can use the psychokinetic hand ability of your gravity hold to immobilize, lift, or move a Medium or smaller creature. The creature can attempt a Fortitude save to negate the effect. While under this effect, the target creature cannot move, but can take any other normal actions. This ability follows all of the restrictions of the spell other than the weight limit, but you can’t lift a creature higher than 5 feet off the ground. When you spend a standard action concentrating to maintain the gravity hold, the target can attempt a new save to end the effect. Once a creature successfully saves against this ability, it becomes immune to further uses of this revelation for 24 hours.

In awe of Reynar’s control of gravity, Attenuate asks, ”Reynar, can you use your control of gravity to pull the ooze out of the android instead of just lifting them both up?”
When I read this last night, my first thought was awesome idea! My next was psychokinetic hand doesn't have the finesse to do this. My third was the slime was probably too well integrated to yank it out without damaging the android. My fourth was too bad, it won't work.
This morning I still think it's a hugely original idea, and still cool. And personally amusing because it would get you one step closer to skating through the adventure without fatal combat. And that just makes me giggle.
Despite the risk of setting a DM-inconvenient precedent, if Reynar wants to try he can, but it will be difficult, and the android will suffer some damage from the extraction. It's not going to happen in one round. I'll need a success in two consecutive rounds. DC in the low to mid 20s. Failure will have consequences. Pitch me a rationale for a couple skills that you want to use in the attempt, if you decide to try.

Whatever you decide, Attenuate will be standing by with his medical advice & monitoring, ready to jump in and heal the innocent once the ooze is displaced.

Reynar doesn't have anything in the way of Sciences or Medicine, which on first look seem to make the most sense.
Now, it's not lost on me that you are already being very generous in allowing greater dexterity than Psychokinetic Hand normally permits and - bare with me, here - following along this same vein for a reason behind this unusual dexterity, I would like to propose the use of Profession (Musician) skill for extracting the ooze.
I'm picturing that his hands - deft from years of guitar practise - are able to manipulate the gravitational field to a finer degree of accuracy to help massage and ease the ooze from its current lair within the android's cranium.
It is one of his better skills (+9) but not his best, so I don't feel it is cherry-picking.
What do you think?

There's a picture of the body-snatched android on slide 3. Doesn't quite match up with my expectation; the ooze is too exposed. Body-snatched people are supposed to be able to fit into their previous life.
"HOney, what's that on your head?"
"Nothing to worry about, dear. I cut myself shaving."
More on topic. As long as we're rolling with this anyway, I'll allow music. I also have a vague impression of vibratory sensitivity helping.

Awesome! Very fun.
I understand what you mean about the ooze. I feel the same.
It reminded me of the brain slugs from Futurama. (I think that clip kind of supports your point)
