We could just buy potions of endure elements. We could buy 28 which would last us 7 days. That's 1400 gp. Thordak could buy them.

There's Cold Weather outfit. Actually this is the route Thordak will definitely go. But he would still buy the potions for the rest of you. 21 for 1050 gp.
There's a Rope of Climbing 3000 bucks
And a Rope of Knots 6000 bucks
And we could buy this: Tent pavilion 100 bucks
A wand of endure elements is only 750 and would last us twice as long, but we should all get cold weather outfits in case of dispel magic or anti magic fields.
Yeah but we don't have 55,000 gold. For a minute I was thinking to myself: "I think Thordak's got an instant fortress. Let me check". Unfortunately it was another pc(dwarf also) who's got one in another game.
And yes, Instant fortress is a cool item for sure.

Just for the record I still feel like OG is still around I just think between this virus nightmare and his job, things are probably pretty crazy for him right now.
He has mentioned in the past how work pretty much kicks him in the tail end on a regular basis. So I would gather this Covid business hasn't made things any easier. Especially if he's one of the main one's in charge and they've let go everybody else.
But all I can do is base that off of his past posts and what's been happening out there. Obviously with all the layoffs these companies are having the only ones reporting to work are pretty much just the managers.
I'm confident in OG that he'll be back. It just might not be until this craziness settles down. Which I'm hoping and praying for is May. I know the talk is June/July/August but I'm going to be positive and say May. That's my story call and I'm sticking to it! :)

It happened once before if I remember correctly. I believe this was y'all's second time with this one after a hiatus. So you never know. *shrugs*
But if it's not in the cards, then, I gotta say it has truly been a memorable game. Definitely a solid group all around, DM and players one and all. Can you believe he started this back up 4 years ago? Crazy how time flies.

Ok. Apologies for the long absence without a word. Just prior to the Covid outbreak in March, I suffered a stroke. I managed to get and out of the hospital before the virus wave hit, so that was lucky, I guess.
But I've come out of it 100% healthy. I wanted to touch base with everyone and let you all know I didn't just drop the game.

I'm truly sorry to do this, but I'm going to have to take a leave of absence from the paizo forums for a while.
This year hasn't been much fun for any of us, I'm sure. And just last week, two people at my job have been diagnosed with COVID-19.
I'm not feeling ill myself, but I am having serious trouble finding the headspace to game. 'Stuff' just keeps piling up, even if it doesn't affect me directly - yet.
I'm not sure when I'll be back. Of course I hope it'll be sooner, rather than later. Please bot my character as appropriate.

@OG: I know a couple of people I could ask if we're thinking about a new player. I feel fairly confident that one of them would accept. Especially considering it's book 6 of Runelords but you never know. Either would be a great addition in my opinion and both have been on these boards for years.
While botting Lym is obviously an option as Dax mentioned, let's be honest, that's a MASSIVE undertaking at our current level. And that goes for any of us. It's one thing to be a fighter at this level that just smashes things but a spellcaster at this level just gives me a headache THINKING about it.
Let me know. Either way is fine with me as long as one of you don't mind botting Lym. No way I can do it. Ultimately I'm just not a fan of spellcasters. Played them - clerics mostly which I can tolerate - but not really a fan overall.
It would be nicer to bot Lym if we can, so that at least Aeliss might feel up to returning as we approach the end and she can be part of it.
I agree with both of you. I want Aebliss to feel welcome to return if her life comes back into balance, but having botted Aurora, can attest that botting a high level caster is an intensive undertaking. Like with Aurora, I'm willing to do so though. Even so, we might still want another player.
I suppose if we get another player, maybe Praxim can finally get a girlfriend!
