Does the spell last for 1 min. or
Does it last for 1 min until I hit someone with it?

I am reading it as it lasts for 1 min, so I can keep chopping down many BG's until the spell ends. Is that your take on it?

And can I have the Channel Divinity running at the same time?

The next time you hit with a melee weapon attack during this spell’s duration...

By wording, it says the next time you hit, rather than each time you hit. To me, that means until you hit someone with it.

Sorry, really busy past couple days with possibly moving my department to working remotely, as well as sorting out what to do with the night classes I teach, so I haven't been able to catch up on posts (looks like I'm about 20 behind now).

I look to have time tomorrow to get caught back up. But until then, bot Jiro if need be. My D&D Beyond sheet is most up to date with spells used and such. Sorry!

Remember that now that you are tier 2, your magic item limit increases to 3 permanent items, so if you don't want to give up the wand of magic missiles or bag of holding, or trident of fish command, whichever you ended up keeping over the course of the modules.

I am going to take a little break from running for a while, but maybe this group can get back together in the near future!

Re: Magic items. I don't remember if I asked this before. I'm kept the wand and I'll keep the cloak which leaves me 1 slot. Can I take the bag now or do you only have the option at the end of the module?

Sorry, you cannot go back and claim something you found in the past. But, if you ever do start running games, you can use DM credit to claim a magic item that you gave out.

You will have some moments in tier 2 that you are going to be able to use to fill that slot, so don't worry too much!
