Happy birthday Ceven!
@Tarphrex: You went to Death Valley in September? You're a brave, brave person. I went in early spring and it was still uncomfortably hot. (The wildflowers were gorgeous though.)

@Elisani: Nope, I'm a smart little lizard. I've learned from the mistakes of previous generations of tiny dragons. Until you can fly, Death Valley in September is a no-go.
Apologies for the delay, but happy birthday! Glad to hear the trip was nice!
Confession: it took me a little bit to realize Death Valley was an actual park in California and this wasn't some extended bit between you guys that I didn't get ahahaha
Absolutely a real place.
It is, however, still a bit. I have no idea where Ceven went on their trip. Could have been Death Valley, could have been Starved Rock, Big Bone Lick, the Glass Beach, or a nice hotel.
Keep in mind, as the map shows, only Vale and Ceven were in the room to see the creature turn invisible. So glitterdust may help, if Tarprhex can figure out where to cast it.

"Everyone! Be extremely careful! One of them just vanished, as though it became invisible! I'm not sure if there's enough debris in here for me to create a windstorm or anything ... but if it's an ogre mage, it may even be able to fly."
I'm sick and not up to writing. Sorry folks. Can someone bot me as necessary until I feel human again?
I'll bot you. Elisani viscouscly attacks the fruit in her pack, scoring a critical hit against the hunger. Mark off three bananas and two oranges from your inventory.

It used to be my local time, but it may have changed as they modify the site's underpinnings. I posted early the other day, but not 4:02am.
Here's a test - Sherman, what time to you see for Tarphrex' previous post in this thread? If it's 4:02am, we are pinned to a time zone together because I know we are in different zones.

Do people see that? Today? Is this a browser thing?
I see times TOMMORROW, right now I see Tarphex's post as 1hr 40minutes ago (which of course is always an absolute referrence as opposed to interpreted).
@Ceven: It says that now. But adjustes to relative time of posting. So if you look back at older posts (and eventually this post), it will say "Mon, Sep 29, 2025, 01:33 pm ".
