Gorthug - good news! You can actually hit the closest one and still be just barely inside the circle of gloomy darkness.

I moved you on the map :)

Be doop be dum doop dum.Eats some big hairy human... La de da dah. Bob slides forward slowly as he sings to himself (and everyone else)

Goldslip |

Goldslip moves after Cindy, and pulls the trigger on her crossbow, targeting the barbarian next to Gorthug.
attack into melee: 1d20 + 6 - 4 ⇒ (6) + 6 - 4 = 8
damage: 1d6 ⇒ 1
Gorthug, is your "Wounds (0)" accurate, or is my life link still pulling damage from you to me?

GM Monster |

reflexes: 2d20 ⇒ (17, 20) = 37

Dam: 2d6 + 17 + 2d6 ⇒ (1, 6) + 17 + (5, 4) = 33
Self dam: 2d6 ⇒ (2, 6) = 8
The barbarians dodge the worst of Snowball's ice breath and Gorthug smacks one of them, breaking the last one fascinated by Tina from his reverie. Newly alert to some threat, he attacks, striking Gorthug a hard blow (33 dam before DR). His allies look with frustration at the flying Tina and Snowball then rush up and attack as well but miss due to the darkness.
Everyone, GO!

Slurp slurp eat him up. Bob da da Bob!
Bob moves forward onto a barbarian in an attempt to engulf him!
if it chooses to AoO me, then he is engulfed and pinned, dealt the acid damage below and has to DC20 fort or be paralyzed for 3d6 rounds

Gorthug |

Melee greataxe: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (15) + 8 = 23

slam: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (12) + 2 = 14
Damage: 1d10 + 7 ⇒ (5) + 7 = 12 (plus level drain)
One upside of being dead was not feeling pain. The blow that struck Gorthug would have killed most mortal men outright, and sent the vast majority of the remnant immediately going into shock. He responded by attacking back, as if though nothing had happened.

Snowball the Dragon |

wow, depending on if Gorthug's victim goes down and if Bob successfully eats that dude, I have at least 2 very different possibilities for what I want to do xD

GM Monster |

Fort: 1d20 ⇒ 14
Gorthug finishes off one barbarian while Bob engulfs another but the barbarian keeps wriggling.

Doll #23, also known as Cindy |

Seeing that her friends were taking care of the big hairy guys without any real problem, Cindy continues to float forwards bringing the circle of darkness with her.

Tina keeps singing, but now her lyrics are inspiring, more than fascinating.
You are the undead queen / Young and sweet / Only thousand and seventy / Oh yeeeeaaahhhh.
Let's get some +1/+1 going on!

Snowball the Dragon |

Snowball swoops down next to the barbarian that isn't dead or eaten and bites him from behind.
Bite+IC: 1d20 + 7 + 1 ⇒ (16) + 7 + 1 = 24
Damage+IC: 1d4 + 3 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 3 + 1 = 6

Goldslip |

Goldslip reloads her crossbow and cheers on Gorthug.
"Get him, Gorthug!"
That's combat advice for +2 on his next attack against the un-Bobbed barbarian.

With one barbarian inside, Bob slides over to stand next to the other one in the globe of darkness. He lashes out at it, hoping to get two paralyzed at the same time!

The barbarian is subjected to Bob's paralytic touch! [DC20 fort or paralysis for 3d6 rounds]

Meanwhile, Bob eats away at the one engulfed in him.
acid: 1d6 - 3 ⇒ (6) - 3 = 3

Goldslip |

Goldslip feels her life link with Gorthug shatter to nothing just like the draugr's bones! She stands there, gasping at the shock.
crossbow attack: 1d20 + 6 - 4 ⇒ (2) + 6 - 4 = 4
Didn't include Tina's +1 like I should have, but still has to be a miss.
She tries to shoot the barbarian in response, but she is much too distraught.
The nixie had maintained a link with no one as long as she had with Gorthug.
"Snowball," she calls in little more than a whisper, and points at the barbarian, "Eat meat."
That's combat advice for a +2 on your first attack roll.

Snowball the Dragon |

Snowball doesn't seem to register the collapse of Gorthug's body.
"Yes, MEAT!" Snowball says excitedly, biting at the barbarian again.

Piedmontina Mumblethunder |

Tina watches Gorthug fall, No, big guy, get back up!, but she's seen this happen too many times before to expect any changes. She looks at her comrade's fallen body as she continues her song, as close to emotion as she can come, You can dance / You can jive / Having the time of your life
She reaches out and channels the power of the undead into the foe who felled Gorthug.
Attack: 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (11) + 16 = 27
damage: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7
and a DC 17 Fort save vs paralysis

Doll #23, also known as Cindy |

Seeing Gorthug fall, Cindy has a brief stab of grief. Not really understanding what that feeling is, she is confused, which makes her angry...and when he doesn't immediately get back up, she becomes more confused, and more angry...and MORE angry...until a deep throaty growl comes from her, with a combination of rage and anguish. Not consciously understanding the words coming from her, it is almost as if something else is prompting her to speak.
"You think you can hurt us? You think that you can survive this meeting? You flail around aimlessly in the dark trying to fight things you cannot even understand. Your time is short, your souls are forfeit...there is no hope for you there is only the darkness of your last seconds followed by the darkness of the abyss for eternity..."
Intimidate: 1d20 + 17 ⇒ (7) + 17 = 24
Met the DC for Frightful Presence. All enemies will save vs DC13 or be panicked for 2d6 ⇒ (6, 6) = 12 rounds. The one who killed Gorthug is being stared at and as such gets a -2 to his save

Yes, in case you're wondering, that little speech is an early foreshadowing of her next template :)

Gorthug |

Pain. It was the body’s way of telling someone that it was damaged. It communicated one’s limitations. Gorthug didn’t feel pain. If he did, he would have know just how damaged his leg was. If he felt pain, he wouldn’t have been so surprised when he stumbled. If he did, he would have felt the bite of the blade as it came down.
He always knew that he wouldn’t have a peaceful end. That wasn’t the way of his people. But he had thought that when he died it would be painful. There was much about his death that he hadn’t anticipated. He looked up in time to see his end. His real end. He had only just got this mind back. His memories. His thoughts. His feelings. And he used all of that to thank Gorum that his true end was in battle. As it should be.
And then...there was no more. What hit the ground wasn’t Gorthug. It was just an empty husk. He was gone.

The barbarians are terrified by Cindy and they both become paralyzed thanks to Bob. These two are neutralized for now. But it seems the onslaught is not over! Another barbarian staggers drunkenly out of the hall, holding a bear on a chain. He snaps his whip at the bear and shouts "Get them! Get them!" The bear lumbers forward grudgingly and snatches Tina out of the air, holding her in its mouth.

She drops the pebble and floats towards the bear, joyfully babbling away at it.

Although she hasn't quite reached the beast, she throws her arms wide as she begins to approach it.

Not sure if one round of friendly chat is enough to warrant a Handle Animal roll but not much else I can do this round so rolling one in case you allow it.

The bear doesn't pay much attention to Cindy as she approaches, focusing on its master and the squirming Tina in its mouth.

Oh, you just wait til next round when she's close enough to hug and squeeze and get eaten if she rolls low again. It'll be glorious!

I love it xD
@Goldslip: want a pet attack dragon? You can remind her where the meat is, or how tasty it is... Or something else! :D

Piedmontina Mumblethunder |

Tina attempts to catch a quick glance in between bear teeth and make her escape, surprising the bear by opening a portal inside its mouth and dropping through it to, to somewhere less humid, less stinky, and less sharp.
Heaven's leaping myself. I'll let GM pick where I land.

Bob senses how excited Cindy is by the bear, and rather than get involved and do something he would be sad about later, he decides to continue the barbarian snack.

I'm unclear on whether or not you need a concentration check to use a Su ability that creates a spell while grappled. I'll rule you don't. Goldslip may still go.

Cindy sidles up next to the bear and tries to throw her arms around it, but due to the size difference pretty much just flattens herself against its side instead.
"See, Mr. Snuggles? This is how you hug, you don't use your mouth. Good job letting Tina go. Why do you let that mean man tell you what to do? Goldslip steps up to the still-paralyzed barbarian next to Gorthug's remains. He doesn't have a good view of her face in the darkness, but the look in her eyes is darker than that surrounding blackness, a look of vengeance and murder.
The strange nixie reloads her crossbow as she stares at the man, but she also spares a moment to kindle a link to Snowball.
5ft step, move action to reload, standard action to initiate life link. Next round: coup de grace with the crossbow. Straight 2d6 won't be very impressive damage, but anyway...
