GM Monster |

Gotcha.
Cindy urges the bear to scare the barbarian and the bear thinks this is a good idea. He bares his teeth and growls but it doesn't have much effect on the human warrior, who slashes at Bob again cursing the bear in frustration. Goldslip shoots the paralyzed barbarian point blank but the tough man continues breathing despite the crossbow bolt in his neck. Snowball bites him hard for good measure. Another barbarian spills out of the longhouse, runs in confusion around the bear, and strikes at Cindy. But the irritable and confused bear snaps at him as he rushes past.

Bob is struck hard (34 dam before DR) and so is Cindy! The doll is nearly shattered to pieces (32 dam before DR).
Cindy, the map says you are 15 ft off the ground but you'd have to be 5 ft up at most to be petting the bear so I'm working off that. The bear is ready to listen to what you say next. If it's a pretty common use of an animal companion, I'll treat it as if he/she knew the trick.
Everyone, GO!

"BAD MAN!" Snowball shrieks.
She takes flight and, forgetting about the new allegiance of the bear, douses both barbarians and the bear with icy breath.

The barbarian struck by Bob becomes paralyzed in shock!
What was that about a TPK? I didn't believe it for a minute.

Doll #23, also known as Cindy |

Cindy floats backwards and up, entering the sphere of darkness, shaking from the effort of trying to hold her body together. As she heads out of range, she rages at the barbarians "I'm so sick of people not being nice! Mean to bears, mean to us, you stupid hairy men need to be taught a lesson" Her voice changes pitch as she continues "You will not be allowed to surrender. You have no choice left but to die. Your last thoughts will be of how much the claws, and the cold, and the burn hurt as you breathe your last!"

I'm going to GM fiat that crit didn't confirm. It's too rude to kill the bear literally the moment it arrives.
The barbarian rages and curses as the bear bites him. "Stupid animal! I always said we should have eaten you and worn your hide!" He rears back with his sword and slashes down hard, laying the bear's shoulder and chest wide open. The bear collapses to the ground, bleeding massively (26 dam to bear).
Everyone, GO!

Snowball the Dragon |

didn't see Goldslip break her connection or form a new one, so I'll presume that Snowball got the benefit of life link last round:
28->33
Also, Snowball's own fast healing this round:
33->38 hp
makes her too healthy to receive healing from Goldslip xD

Doll #23, also known as Cindy |

Cindy howls when she sees her new pet fall down bleeding, and almost rushes in to the remaining barbarian. Something in the back of her mind remembers the hit she took and realizes she's not ready to take another...
She pauses a second to regain control, and then swoops down to grab the darkness pebble and moves in as close as she can, hoping the circle of gloom will help her friends kill the last disgusting hairy man.

Tina looks at bear, and then up at the remaining barbarian. A droplet flies from her finger toward the barbarian's sword
Targeting Grease on the sword, DC 17 Reflex or drop it

Goldslip |

Goldslip feels the stream of life from her to Snowball peter out. She sees that Cindy is still in rough shape, and kindles a connection with her. Then she reloads her crossbow.
Life link is still active on Snowball, too, if she takes more damage.

GM Monster |

The nixie smiles as she once again points her loaded crossbow at the paralyzed barbarian at her feet.

GM Monster |

Thanks to the moved pebble, the barbarian can't see Bob coming and is engulfed.

But he does manage to resist becoming paralyzed.
Yeah I probably won't rule in the future that enemies who can't see you coming automatically fail the save but for now it's really helping you out. Tina and Cindy still to go.

Doll #23, also known as Cindy |

Seeing Bob move onto the last standing hairy man and leaving the other one lying on the ground still, Cindy swoops in with rage, brandishing her little dagger.
"Why did you hurt Mr. Snuggles! You guys hurt Mr. Snuggles!!"

GM Monster |

Amazingly, Cindy's dagger finds the jugular of the barbarian and he dies with slow spurts of blood.
For the record, there is still one paralyzed barbarian lying around and shown on the map. Bob has paralyzed a lot of people today. Tina still to go.

Snowball the Dragon |

Oh? I thought Goldslip finished off one too...

Doll #23, also known as Cindy |

Amazingly, Cindy's dagger finds the jugular of the barbarian and he dies with slow spurts of blood.
Cindy's rage fades as she stares the man in the eyes and sees the light fade out of them. Almost in shock, she slowly looks from his face, to her dagger, back to his face, and then around at the group.
"whaaa??"

Snowball the Dragon |

wasn't the third one the guy Bob just ate? xD

GM Monster |

There've been a lot more than three barbs out here and you guys are getting xp accordingly once you finish this.

Snowball the Dragon |

not takin' that AoO. My claws don't have reach yet xD

GM Monster |

Snowball, I double-checked my barb's attack bonus and I think it actually missed you unless you have an ac penalty right now.

Snowball the Dragon |

Oh, off by one xD
In that case, I'm totally taking the AoO xD
Retcon: 20 to-hit, not 23. Snowball dodged xD
HP is actually at full unless the AoO lands xD
---slight retcon---
Snowball dodges under the Barbarian's blade, the edge just barely skidding across her hard, smooth scales.
"Rawr!" she squeaks, lunging recklessly at the barbarian.

Piedmontina Mumblethunder |

Tina silently flies through the darkness at the remaining barbarian, and channels her necrotic power into her hands, and launches an attack at the remaining barbarian.
Darkness gives me neak attack, right? and I just remembered that I've got a Smite Good waiting around that I haven't used yet today.

damage rd 1: 1d8 + 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (6) + (3) + 1 = 10 So that's a 19 if it confirms, or a 22 if he's good.

Snowball the Dragon |

oooh, I forgot about darkness. Is that barbarian too blind to take any AoOs?

GM Monster |

I don't think you're in the darkness, snowball. And you can smite, Tina, but he's not good.
AoO: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (15) + 14 = 29
Dam: 2d6 + 17 + 2d6 ⇒ (6, 1) + 17 + (5, 6) = 35

I didn't think so either, but if Tina can approach in darkness then so can I (we're both using attacks without even 5' reach) xD
I think Snowball eating the AoO is close enough, though xD

Goldslip |

Goldslip patiently loads her crossbow in preparation to kill the other paralyzed barbarian lying before her.
Taking 5 of Snowball's damage.
"Go on, Snowball, you can finish him!" she calls enthusiastically.
+2 to your next attack roll from Combat Advice.

GM Monster |

Well there's darkness south of the barb and light north of him since he's right on the edge so Tina is approaching through darkness while Snowball is not.
Cindy and Bob still to go.

Doll #23, also known as Cindy |

Out of all the fun stuff, and she's too scared to take on a standing one with her little dagger.
Cindy toddles over from the dead barbarian to Mr. Snuggles and squeezes in tightly, leaning against his neck.
"I don't know any heal stuff, but I know you're still in there. This red blood stuff is what helps keep people alive, so maybe it'll help you..."
She carefully wipes the blood off her dagger blade onto his fur while massaging his ear with her other hand.
"Go on, get that stuff inside you. It'll help"
