I hope Hero of the Stars is never useful (keep the ship from being destroyed).

Enhanced Shield Regeneration should net +6 SP (where I want them) once in the scenario.

Defender of the Fleet can be pretty nice.
Computer: Get an additional computer bonus, or add 1 to the existing bonuses
Engine: Improve Thrusters 1 step, but not above normal for the type.
Weapons: Reroll each damage dice that come up a 1, once only per shot fired

Improved Drift Engine lets us adjust ship starting position up to 6 hexes and select original facing.

Mining Laser isn't normally an upgrade.

No starship combat in this one.

I'd say that AbadarCorp Acquaintance isn't super likely to come up, but we'll see if there's anything before Official Boon Slot Time that changes the odds there :-)

(I think the Sunrise Maiden is only usable in Tier 1-4 btw)

Never having played a pregen in SFS play before, I have a quick question about pregens and boons. Do I get to slot anything?

I will make a selection on the pregen by the time I make my first post.

I will use this name and icon, but I will use the stats from what ever I pick.

No other faction reputation has been earned.

You get to slot whatever faction you'd like, but aside from some boons that specifically refer to PreGens, I think you're unable to use the ones your character has earned.

If the character you choose actually has any boons you can slot them, though I don't think that comes up much if ever. You can roll a day job, assuming the pregen has a profession skill. Also, technically you don't slot a faction either. Just in case you didn't know this either, when playing one at level four you don't get anything from this chronicle until Archaius hits level 4 and at that point you gain the reputation from this for a faction you have the champion boon for. As well as any other goodies on the chronicle.

@GM Egg - I forgot all about the True Savior of Tasch. Can I use that instead of my day job roll? I'd kind of like to get it done and out of the way.

Don't forget that shirren get a bonus to diplomacy Chivix. Not that it would've helped with that roll but you know. I also have a shirren who always speaks in the third person, interesting.

You guys may remember that I'm basically new at this GM thing so I'll just ask y'all what you prefer sometimes. Such as, would you prefer me to start the briefing and let anyone who hasn't introduced themselves do so as we move? Or wait?

This! Always this. set a timeframe (24 hours, 48 hours, etc.) and then push on. Otherwise, you can almost guarantee a dead game...or at best a VERY protracted one.

This is a good point. I was leaning towards being a little lenient on the time for this part because we had a couple people dot in pretty close to start time. But everyone is in so the briefing will be up very shortly.

That headdress is a bit of treasure. But it's a solarian weapon crystal and no one's playing a solarian so I won't make you roll for identifying it. Its a minor tauon crystal.

I almost forgot your true savior Chivix, when I said I would make a note I lied. Got it though.

For Archaius, by my understanding, and based on a little research on the forums, with a pregen it's best to leave some info blank and then fill it in when you apply the credit so you have an unbroken line of XP and such in your records.

If I made any mistakes, and I probably did, let me know.
