Tiktik breathes a sigh of relief as the massive bear comes and stands between him and the monstrous kish. Hearing Jax's play call, he crouches down and charges up his rifle waiting for the right moment just like they've practiced. Soon Bepo rears back for a swing and leaves the perfect line of fire to the unsuspecting creature and both Tiktik and Elliot fire through the opening.
Man, I love Coordinate Barrage! I don't have the ammo for an overcharge shot, but I will use the Boost property on the gun for similar effect since I have a move action to spare. Elliot will take advantage of his bracing and do a full attack.

Down the hall, Elliot can see three doors on the north side of the hall and one more on the south. All of the doors appear to be either open or stuck mostly open.

The rooms on the north side of the hall are all broadly similar. The walls of these rooms, though dirty, are a soothing aquamarine color, and remnants of comfortable-looking furniture poke out from the rubble of the northern walls. The dusty floors and lack of murals hint that no one has stepped foot in here for some time.
The exception is the room in the northeast corner, where some disturbed dust on the floor indicates someone has entered the room recently.

The disturbed dust, in one place, looks rather like a crude drawing of a kish face.

A complicated lookng pistol grip at the top makes the whole thing like a bit like a fire extinguisher. Hanging from the pistol grip is a fetish made of feathers, colored stone, and chips of what appear to be high-grade bulkhead steel.

The Starfinders move to the next door.
There is an air of solemnity in this austere room. A capsule five feet in diameter and eight feet tall sits on a ten-foot square platform in the center of the room; it is made of some kind of shiny metal, and dozens of wires, cables, and tubes sprout from its surface. Many of the wires run to a freestanding wheeled console nearby. A six-foot-tall door opens into the capsule. A small shrine covered in dried flowers many diverse offerings stands against the western wall. Doors lead north and south out of this room.

The capsule here appears to be a very advanced medical device. Those placed within would be healed when the machine is activated, with both physical damage, disease, and other ailments removed.
The device appears to be attempting to replicate perfect Kishalee biology. Unfortunately, the modern Kish are no longer genetically identical to their Kishalee ancestors, which is likely the reason for the intense mutations the machine sometimes puts out. With modern Kish genetic information, it may be possible to alter the machine to work on modern Kish without these accidents. The machine could also be modified to accept beings of other races as well, although doing so adds to the difficulty of altering the machine.
On the altar, you find, beneath several wooden carvings, a triangular shaped data crystal, much like the one you found before.
