There are several ancient Kishalee datapads here, but they are all too badly damaged to salvage any information from them.

The cabinet evidently held food and drink, but they have all long since rotted away, leaving nearly empty containers behind.

The thin tendrils of mold are spread throughout the walls and ceiling here.

Engineering DC 25:
The mold is so widespread that it is likely supporting the structure of the building itself.

From Elliot's sweep of the compound, it appears the fungus has spread throughout the entire compound, including through the roof, where dozens of fruiting bodies have burst up through the ceiling.

The door on the northern edge of the entrance room appears to be stuck shut from the mold tendrils, like the front door was. Beyond that there don't appear to be any hazards here.

L activates his suit's protections and pulls his Static Arc Pistol, but switches it to non-lethal.

"Environmental suit protections are one thing, but they won't save you if the ceiling collapses on top of you. From what Bepo says, this mold is the only thing supporting this structure. How sturdy can it be? I would be carefull 'nudging' anything, including stuck doors. This is a good time for communication and deliberate actions. Not rash decision making."

Yeah I agree with Ragabash and Jax. This whole place is being held together by this mold, if we do something wrong it could all crumble. Someone like myself needs to be careful in my movements in this place.

I am trying to either open the door safely or find a non-load-bearing section of the wall that we could break through. Alternatively maybe the safest approach would actually be to open up holes in the roof and come down into the building that way so there is no/less chance of a collapse.

It takes a bit of muscle, but Bepo shoves the door open, tearing strands of mold and fungus aside as he does.

A hallway stretches out. There are two doors on the north end of the hall, and three to the south. The hall curves to the north at the eastern end.

Patches of white fungus cover the walls here. Everything is silent and still.

This AP wasn't written with large characters in mind. Without altering the map too much, we'll say its just wide enough to allow Bepo to move through without squeezing.

There appears to be little here of interest besides the mold.

The door requires a good deal of force from L to force open, but eventually he does.

This spacious room is a wide swath of small, gray hillocks covering what might have once been a collection of desks and chairs. Two doors exit the room to the south. There is a doorway to a smaller room to the northwest, and a short hallway leads east past two other doors.

To the right are more cubicles. To the left appears to be some sort of kitchen. Though this room is as covered in mold as the rest of the building, the smell here is somehow even worse. A foul, rotting odor wafts from what appears to be an open unpowered refrigeration unit. Rotting cabinets, some whose doors have long ago fallen off, hang on the walls, and parts of a small, round table peek out from under a mound of mold.

If you're environmental protections weren't active, you would likely be having some problems right now.

Tiktik gives B-Bop an enthusiastic thumbs up as the air filter gauge lights up on his suit. He makes a mental note to rummage around more thoroughly later, but first he wants to make sure there aren't any of those Eohis that Tzayl warned the group of, lurking about.

He continues to creep forward, while Elliot patrols the other side of the cubicles.

In the kitchen, buried in the mold, Talek finds a pair of serums of enhancement (scientist).

Tiktik and Elliot happen upon a hidden compartment in the larger of the two offices, stashed away in a false bottom at the bottom of the desk. Inside is a small, purple crystal.

Detect Magic, Mysticism DC 23:
This appears to be the Kishalee equivalent of an Ability Crystal Mk. 2 (Dexterity).

L manages to force the door at the end of the hall open, revealing a short hall connecting to the longer one.

Seeing that Tiktik and Bepo have that door handled, L turns to the door he passed in the hallway, checks it out, then tries to open it.

Sure, either one of those would, if cast a few times, take out enough of the mold to let you open the door.

Bepo and Tiktik look into what appears to be some sort of meeting space. Some of the ruined gear here might be audiovisual equipment of some kind. There doesn't appear to be anything worthwhile here, though.

L's room contains three tables, and while mold has crept up onto most of the them, one of the tables has a large untouched patch about two feet in diameter. A roughly square hunk of metal, plastic, and crystal sits in the center of the open space, its sides covered with alien symbols and bits of circuitry. The filaments of mold covering the walls seem to be moving ever so slightly, as if a faint draft were blowing, though the air is still. A door leads out to the west, and another leads to the south.
