Okay, looks like we have more than enough. I went ahead and started building out the campaign page. You can dot into game play and open discussion if you want.
I decided I don't really like the Inner Sea maps, so I'm going to stick Sandpoint in a corner of the Known World Map from Mystara. I uploaded a few maps.
That won't affect any relevant lore -- all the gods will just be Immortals, and ancient Thassilon and the Varisian area still exist. I'll probably make some more adjustments as time goes on, but besides the common gunpowder I mentioned in my recruitment post, nothing will concern us for the moment.

Will ancient Azlant still be a country?(in the past, obviously) A big part of my character is him being an actual Azlanti pureblood, hailing from that empire, and joining First King Xin when he founded Thassilon.

Just came across this; I love Gestalt games, so I'll have a look.
Edit: Just read the OP. This looks right up my ally. Overpowered characters with appropriately overpowered foes is exactly how I like to play. Now I just have to figure out what the other players are playing so I can find a unique niche...

I put in a first post with some background info -- Norwold is equivalent to Varisia--it's a northern territory claimed by several states with several independent cities, so everything in Varisia can easily get stuffed in there without any great issue.
There's a simmering conflict between Thayatis and Alphatia and the Heldannic Knights that may come up as well I tried to outline.
Sandpoint is somewhere along the Great Bay in the map I posted.
I was hoping everyone could introduce themselves at the inn, and then I'll start the Swallowtail Festival episode, which begins the first adventure.

Yeah didn't plan on it, but couldn't resist in the end!
Spend a lot of time looking at UC barbarian with savage technologist and life oracle actually, still isn't completely out of my mind.
This build will have channel energy as well though at level 5 now and mythic smite is just...op.
Then it will be selective channeling and more channels!
Later on sword and gun probably^^
I would love to flavor the gun a bit different though, more science-fantasy style.
Cryptic with disrupt pattern from a gun is very nice there!
With arrowsong minstrell i'm in the magus corner a bit i guess, which brings some extra features later on as well.

Mh mythic gestalt should be champion/archmage. I used "dual path" to emulate that in herolab.
According to herolab it also is a 50pb build.
I can check again tomorrow though. With all those extras it gets wonky sometimes.
Let me know if there's something else!
Ok. One last question. How did you get 2 20s. The recruitment said the initial values had to be between 7 and 18 I think. I don't want to come across as accusatory, I just need to check a few things since inward less flexible on rules with this recruitment.

@: Pai Song, if you don't mind me asking, how did you get your saves to
F+10, R +13, W +11;
With a 3/3/3 base + Divine Grace, I can only get to
F 3Base+2con+4Class=9
R 3Base+5Dex+4Class=12
W 3Base+1Wis+4Class=8
I'm asking out of interest not to check, did you miss off a cloak of resistance on your item list?

Mh good catch. I made this with herolab. When i hover over the stat entries, correct numbers are shown in the pop-up, but the wrong ones are there. My guess is that the extra stuff i installed for gestalt might have messed it up a bit. Sometimes it doesn't get updated when you change things around a lot.
Will make it anew and repost.

Hex Maven
[Horrifically Overpowered, Meta-Attack]
Your hexes are much more persistent than most witches’.
Benefit: Your hexes which state they can only affect a specific target once per day, can instead affect the same target a number of times per day equal to your Int bonus.
Most hexes have some form of "Whether or not the save is successful, a creature cannot be the target of this hex again for 1 day" built in. I think this feat is supposed to affect them, but the wording is slightly off. DM, thoughts?

I've taken a few stabs at statting out a character. I haven't managed to get it complete, mostly as I'm a little overwhelmed at the sheer number of alternative rule sets being used. I've probably used about half of the them before, but the others are completely new to me, and seeing them all together in one game is a bit daunting. I've done a million gestalt games, so that is not trouble; I remember Wounds and Vigor from one of the Star Wars games that used it; never done Piecemeal, but it looks straightforward, but all the Unchained stuff is new to me. I've thought about going fairly martial, as I've never used Words of Power, but I've never seen Armour as DR in action either, and have no idea how that works with things like AC (seems like AC's will be very low on average, to the point that there is little point in trying to raise them, as BAB will rapidly outpace anything you can do without the bonuses from armour.
Concerns like that have gone on and on in my mind to the point where I felt a little lost completing anything. Any advice, or should I just bow out?
River of Sticks |
Armour as DR changes some assumptions, yes. AC is still useful vs lower level attackers or vs iteratives, but you are likely to be hit more often. AC can still be boosted, as well; high dexterity, shield and enhancement bonuses to your shield, etc will still increase AC.
As an attacker, Armour as DR means you want fewer, more powerful hits vs many weaker attacks. Clustered shots becomes very important for archers, the equivalent 3PP feat for melee that I don't remember the name of, etc.
Depending on the specifics for kinds of DR, it also affects the value of DR options. Since most DR doesn't stack unless explicitly called out, DR 1-3 options from normal Pathfinder are not as useful. Barbarians, Adamantine Armor, and a few others still are though.

Build Rules:
Stats:
*50pt. buy. Min/max as per normal rules-max 18, min 7, I believe. Then add or subtract racial etc. modifiers.
Races:
*Needs to make sense for setting. Drow Noble probably doesn't... 3rd party is fine. Should be mostly humans.
Class:
*Gestalt. Start at 3rd. 3rd party is fine.
*If power words exist from ultimate magic for your caster class, you have to use words of power instead of normal casting. This exempts occult classes etc.
*1 mythic tier. Gestalt two mythic progressions.
Other rules:
Ultimate Combat:
*Wounds and vigor. Double vigor at 1st level. Otherwise take half as minimum if you roll under that amount.
*Armor as damage reduction
*Piecemeal armor
*No iteratives
*Called shots
Unchained:
*Unchained action economy
*Background skills
*Skill unlocks. Everyone gets associated feat for free.
*Stamina. Everyone gets associated feat free.
*Hero points
*Double starting wealth standard for 3rd level.
Feats:
*One feat per level as well as the bonus feat progression for the Fighter class (so the progression is as if you were a Fighter getting 1 feat per level plus your class feats. If you are a fighter, you get two bonus feats every time you'd have gotten one).
*Same progression applies to mythic feats.
*Horrifically Overpowered feats series allowed. Horrifically Overpowered is its own type. Any feat marked as such can't ever be taken them as a bonus feat due to race or class; you can have a maximum of 1 Horrifically Overpowered Feat at 1st level, 2 at 3rd level, and an additional 1 every 3 levels thereafter.
*2 traits.
Guns are common/everywhere.
