@ MJ66, I was going to roll for 'gather information' to see if there were any other 'slaver' or 'Pirate' ships in the area, for us to attack, thus regrouping our money. I figure if we were down two days, that Wulfgar could have been getting information.
Also if we divide the 1,000 gp. we each just spend 167 gp. for the slaves, do we take that from our individual funds from the gnoll raid, or did that come out of the 'captain and first mate' fund that was on the ship?
Deduct from your individual funds, but if anyone already spent enough that they can’t cover a 167 gp share, there is just enough left over from booty taken from the ship to get the job done...
That will put Wulfgar @ 67 gp. so we have better gear now, but not enough money to purchase a horse or camel...
Could we have heard about the pirate ship these men were taken by? Might be time for a little payback...
The crew can be questioned to find out information about the pirates who captured them...
Also if we raid the other ship we can turn them in take their goods and weapons to give to our crew. We can make these men our personal ship crew. I see us getting many followers who are former slaves.

Regarding donations, keeping them anonymous would be best, and I assure you all that keeping the integrity of this game intact by remaining impartial would be my chief obligation.
I have no problem with chipping in here and there. I have quite a few RPG books that my home game players have chipped in to get me over the years.

@ the group, Speaking of group funds, there are six of us, lets split the monies by eight, that would designate 1/8th for the crew and boat, and 1/8th for 'group stuff' like clw wands. Just a thought.
@ MJ66, I've prided myself on being very frugal with RPing, that means I've only played on line and have spent no money doing it. However, if you set up a PayPal I would consider a small donation. Of course I would need to approve it with my accountant/better half :-)

Perhaps a painting of the adventurers fighting King Bogud in his tomb, or a group portrait aboard the Alanqilis, for instance...
As for RP in Safi, I was thinking the party would just post what mounts and provender they purchase and get on with the three day wilderness trek...

Lord P can fly, and perch comfortably, and add negligible encumbrance to another's mount, so he doesn't need to purchase a mount.

Ha! Had a busy weekend so far. Ran two PFS games locally, then went out to teat with a few of the players, not getting home until late.
