You're going to be stubborn about this, aren't you Wulfgar? :)
Okay, taking the healing now...
I can hopefully drop two (odds are, one) with hideous laughter, then spam daze or shoot as appropriate.

Wow, 16 posts in game, that's what I get for taking a day off from work...
I asked about the weapons, because I may pick up a shield and use a one handed weapon, taking my AC to 21. Were the spears 'short spears' or were the gnolls using regular spears two handed without the shields.
Love the smoke in this image
Ok this took me a minute to figure out, so I apologize for stating the obvious. Wulfgar is the two handed fighter in the deep green with the bronze shoulder pads and the ponytail on the end holding his sword vertically, tip on the ground.
So Mwikali is the maroon dressed character on the ground all the way to the left. Lord P. is the flier behind, who are the other figures so we know who were beside?
Also, is anyone else down? I realize Mwikali is, but I only see four of us standing, and one flying that's six, didn't we have seven?

Hmmmm, well if were nominating
On a seperate note, maybe Wulfgar should take a dip in 'oracle of life' or just go two classes, every other...

On a more serious note, I'm going to bed, I am off Sunday and Monday and will be working third the rest of the week. So if this gets to another round of combat, have Wulfgar rage/attack: greatsword the nearest standing gnoll. I'm assuming we will let the fire burn out and loot the cave.
Is anyone interested in making the cave a base of operation?

Shariah don’t like it! Rock the Kasbah!

Ok, just got up, so trying to ascertain threats. We've got one laughing and one choking that got hit by a rock. Wulfgar killed the one already there, So are there any effected by the 'rainbow' lights still standing? Can the one choking still attack? How many gnolls will be able to attack this round?

Only 1, and he succeeded in overrunning Mwikali unless AoOs stop him...

Smart Gnoll, if he gets past the AOO's I assume the next round we can get ranged attacks on it before it 'withdraws'? Now that Wulfgar's dander is up, he will throw a pilum at it for good measure :-)
@ everyone: Seriously, do you folks want Wulfgar to take a few levels in 'Oracle of Life'? I've got figured out in my mind Who Wulfgar is and what he will become. So It won't alter how I play him just the crunch and how he gets there... and it would fit his basic personality...

I didn't specify switching weapons in between hyenas and gnolls, so I guess I've still got my bow in hand. That means no AoO, but I will be ready to shoot it on my next turn.
As far as Wuflgar dipping in Oracle, I very rarely multiclass as I feel PF punishes it hard, so I can't give either an unbiased or a well-informed opinion. What's the bang for buck like with a level or three in Oracle of Life? I guess if you're not concerned with minmaxing and it won't clash with your concept, it could be handy for everyone, but if you have any hesitations I would say don't do it.

Hmmmm, If I did it I would go at least three levels (possibly as many as eigth) in 'oracle of life' (curse 'tounges "Celestial" and the 'channel revelation) with the archetype 'spirit guide' So I would pick up the Wandering Spirit guide from Shaman, This would give Wulfgar a very diverse group of hexes and spells when he had time to prepare. On top of the oracle class benefits.
Immediate benefits, limited oracle spells, + 2 to fort. Immediate loss +1 to attacks from bloodrager level, lower HP And slower access to Bloodrager benefits and spells. since the 'go to bloodrager spell' would be 'enlarge' at forth level it would slow down how soon he could do that.
There would be some trade off on melee effectiveness, but since we have three melee-centric characters I thought it might be a good trade off. I don't often play something other than melee or skilled but the oracle class would fit in Wulfgar's 'theme'

Yep Smoke was a must for this one. Drive em out and hit um as they run.
Had to do it that way as i'm playing a PC that, even if it hits dose no DMG unless he crits. So ya have to think your way past the bad guys.
As a very good mate of mine likes to say a lot.
"when your a new RPG player you want the strongest PC in a party, cus that's where you think the fun is, but when your an experienced RPG player you want the weakest PC in party, because you know really, that's where the fun is."

That makes sense, But I find that I want to play characters like characters I like....
Read a lot of Edgar Rice Burroughs, Michael Moorcock, Fritz Leiber and Robert E. Howard as a kid, Lately, it's been Joe Abercrombie, Robert Jordan, S.M. Sterling and Brandon Sanderson. The odd man out is Jim Butchers 'Harry Dresdon.' He is Possibly the only wizard I really like!
So I like to play those types of characters, they usually end up being melee or skill. I have a few support characters, ranged rangers and such, or the occasional cleric/oracle, but I like the sword wielding toughs...
Oh, the fire was a good idea, now we just need to find Wulfgar another bedroll, Guess I should go to the 'game page' and see if the gnolls left any laying around...

I don't mind the multiclassing to handle heals, plus if done in a funny manner, you could rage cycle at a later time.
Volreg Sundek
Non-oracle levels act as half oracle levels for their curse progression. Eight levels of bloodrager and one level of a lame cursed oracle means the bloodrager is now immune to fatigue. Sure, a bit slower because of the lame curse, but the benefits are pretty nice, especially with the added spell list.
Volreg Sundek
Ooooh, Tongues sounds fun as well! Hmm, well then, that's a difficult proposition, as speaking celestial while in emotional distress would be quit fun, and challenging!
Wulfgar Ivarsson
It appears that I may have sent Wulfgar to bed too early... MJ66, would you look at his sheet and make sure it's ok?
On a separate note are we going to RP more this evening? If so I may jump back in and just reference the dream section later...
After I finished his stats, I got typing how the event happened and wanted to post it :-)
Volreg Sundek
Haha, That's why I decided to post more. I can easily revert my stats back to level 1 if need be. The night is young, and celebration is needed!
Volreg Sundek
Here are the following updates for Volreg:
+1 BAB, +1 Fort, +1 Reflex, Skills, Defensive Wild Talent (Enveloping Winds : 20% miss chance vs nonmagical ranged attacks), Utility Wild Talent (Air Shroud : Constant Air Bubble)
Enveloping winds won't be activated unless Volreg believes he's in a hostile situation. Air Shroud will be constant.
Also, there's a local convention starting in the next 20 hours, so posting might slow down a little, but not too much on my end.

Hi folks, I'll be back on board properly in 12 hours or so, levelled up and ready to kick ass. Sorry for the absence.
