Morossa |
Morossa looks down at the snakes lying on the ground.
What are these made of? Seem pretty tough, perhaps we should take them to see if they can be made into something useful.
If they are mithril, I figure we can turn them into a mithril shirt or even breastplate if there is enough.

Amanda says to the group, "Those snakes were quite a dangerous obstacle but we have proven our resolve yet again. The metal these snakes are made of appears to be valuable. We should gather up that which remains in a sack and take it with us. It may be useful for crafting purposes in the future. Once this is done we should continue onto the next task before us."
Zinbah Boreol |
Zinbah nods to 'Lydia'. "A good plan. I shall carry the remains." He proceeds to make good on the task required of him.
Once finished, he looks at the unopened doors. "I would prepare for another battle here, considering what that squire told us. I suspect the next chamber may have those drowned folk lurking there, or perhaps those shrieker flowers lie ahead."
Morossa |
Morossa nods in agreement with Zinbah:
Yes. As before, we proceed with caution to minimize risks. Together, we all shall pass this test.
Morossa moves forward to inspect the next door.

Stealth: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (8) + 7 = 15
Raymond K Hessel |
Raymond, not wanting to really waste his bird by dismissing it, puts his summoned creature to use by sending it ahead of the party into the next room in hopes that it triggers any potentially deadly traps before anyone of value does.
"Let the bird go first. If it dies, we'll know somethin's waitin' for us."
Spooky GM |
This new room bids the warning, "Suffer not the fool. Stupidity is our faith's cardinal sin." Like most of the rooms so far, it's a square chamber lit only by a hanging oil lantern. Upon a podium in the middle lies a pendant of silver--a dragon with sapphire eyes. To the east is a stairway leading up. Amanda spots the outline of a hidden door on the room's western wall.
Morossa |
Morossa's eyes narrow as she sees the pendant.
We are to get a pendant. However, we were also told that there were seven rooms and seven tests. We have not been to seven rooms and this seems too easy. Probably a trap of some sort.
Morossa carefully moves forward searching the room for any traps.
Perception: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (14) + 11 = 25
Zander Cogvalt |
Alisha nods to Morossa and says, "Indeed Morossa. Seven is the number of fortune but Nine is the number of Hell. This indeed is a trick for fools and is not the pendent we are looking for. This is but a trap for the unwary so be on alert. Speaking of which, I see something unusual over there."
She heads to wall and looks around at the secret door. She looks carefully for a way to open the door in the wall and opens it if possible.
