He yells to the others, rather excitedly, before heading in and knocking on the next door "Hello?"

Noggin finds the door moves inward, having already been slightly ajar at the time the goblin knocked.

Beyond the door lies a large, well-lit area filled with stacks of crates rising halfway to the ceiling.
The ceiling is 30 feet overhead. The highest stack of crates is 15 feet high.

You may remove the red block from the Map covering the northeast portion of the warehouse.

Once you have done so, open the spoiler below

Noggin strolls happily into the warehouse, excited to get the last person on their list squared away, he cups his hand around his mouth and yells out "Helllooooo!" Hoping to hear a wonderful echoing effect, but instead hearing the *Whoosh* as an arrow flies by his ear... "Ambush!!!" Acting with all the speed only a hyperactive goblin can achieve, the furry knight draws his shield and runs "Scamper, scamper, scamper..." straight towards the attacker, and apparently, a very tied up Themolin.

You are correct. And, at least in this instance, I appreciate picky. On to some retconning...

Noggin stuck the recruit (red), then Norbwald did as well--after taking a drink, of course--and then the zap delivered by Drakmak finished off the grapped assassin.

Exploit Results

Spoiler:

Critical Success You remember the creature's weaknesses, and as you empower your esoterica, you have a flash of insight that grants even more knowledge about the creature. You learn all of the creature's resistances, weaknesses, and immunities, including the amounts of the resistances and weaknesses and any unusual weaknesses or vulnerabilities, such as what spells will pass through a golem's antimagic. You can exploit either the creature's mortal weakness or personal antithesis (see below). Your unarmed and weapon Strikes against the creature also become magical if they weren't already.

Success You recall an important fact about the creature, learning its highest weakness (or one of its highest weaknesses, if it has multiple with the same value) but not its other weaknesses, resistances, or immunities. You can exploit either the creature's mortal weakness or personal antithesis. Your unarmed and weapon Strikes against the creature also become magical if they weren't already.

Failure Failing to recall a salient weakness about the creature, you instead attempt to exploit a more personal vulnerability. You can exploit only the creature's personal antithesis. Your unarmed and weapon Strikes against the creature also become magical if they weren't already.

Critical Failure You couldn't remember the right object to use and become distracted while you rummage through your esoterica. You become flat-footed until the beginning of your next turn.

If that's a success or better vs their recall knowledge DC, I also get RK Success results.

If Green is down:

OUT OF COMBAT

Without anyone left to try and kill the party, the PCs are able to easily remove the gag and ropes from Themolin.

If you remove the gag and responses from Themolin:
Themolin looks up at you appreciative.y. "B-Barralbus! He-he tried to k-kill me!". The old man stutters. "H-he n-never hid the f-fact that h-he wanted my job, b-but I n-never thought that he'd tr-try to kill me!

The bureaucrat slumps into a heap on the floor, lost in thought. After a few moments, he confesses, "I had eagerly s-sold my house and c-collected items for payment when G-Guaril f-firsr offered passage. But once he's failed to sh-show, I thought the wh-hole ordeal to be t-too d-dangerous to try and go th-through with. N-now I l-learn that m-my s-subordinates want me d-dead? You d-don't think h-he knew I had c-contacted Guaril, do you?"

If you search the body of Barralbus:

You find an inkwell, a crossbow, a spellbook, and a staff.
Collectively, these belongings constitute 1 Treasure Bundle.

If you search the bodies of Hungry Blade Recruits:

You find that each had rapier and a short bow.

If you search the warehouse:

You find a collection of artwork worth 65 gold pieces contained among a number of the crates.
These items collectively represent 2 Treasure Bundles.

What do you wish to do, Pathfinders? Anything else the party wishes to do before taking Themolin into the sewers and meeting up with Garla, Yuleg, and Vurna en route to pre-scheduled rendez-vous at Shard Cove?

We spread a few rumours about all the magic this guy knows, he could be in real trouble..." He taps the spell book for emphasis.

After a good investigation of the warehouse, Noggin is ready to move on

Burden of Envy: Table 1 | Table 2 | Guardian's Covenant (Table 2)

The party's assurances appear only somewhat to appease the nervous Themolin. "What were you told about magic here?" He inquires.

Themolin hastily packs a few belongings and points out the crates of artwork that he offers as payment. Second bell and sunset quickly follow, providing the Pathfinders with a night for last minute preparations before the scheduled rendezvous at sunrise with Rolanna's Prayer on the edge of Shard Cove. he tunnels are narrow and cramped, but passable.

As previously arranged, the party lead Themolin into the sewers where you all meet up with the first of the pre-selected "clients", Flitch "Looks like I came through. Didn't I? I'm quite the thief, aren't don't you think?" says Flitch.

'Hardly," replies one of the Emerald Guard.

"W-we've been r-ratted out! The Guard have found us!" Flitch shouts. He reels backwards, slipping on some filth and falling onto his backside with a sloggy slump. Themolin, too, begins to cower, as the Guard approaches.

The member of the Emerald Guard is alone and brandishes no weapon. "Relax, Flitch." Astrid says. "You certainly made it easy enough for the Guard to find you. Fortunately, for you, I was able to cover up your tracks."

She starts to remove her equipment and armor, revealing a set of non-descript travel clothes underneath. "Your promised payment." Garrla says as she offers her armor and equipment (+1 full plate, +1 longsword) along with a bag of 20 gold coins to the Noggin. "You've earned it." She smiles.
This represents 2 Treasure Bundles.

"I think they are over here, father!" comes another voice. Upon hearing it, Flitch shakes his head and shrinks a bit, blending in with the mounds of garbage on the sewer floors around him. Within moments, Vurna appears from around a tunnel corner, followed by her father. The young dwarven woman coughs a bit, but is clearly well enough to travel.

"Strange to be looking at these sewers for the last time," Vurna says, looking around. "It is probably for the best as the last time I was down here I got bit by a rat and then got sick."

"I found the tunnel leading to Shard Cove during one of excursions here into the city’s sewers," she explains to the party. "After Guaril and Flitch approached father about leaving, I told Flitch about all about this route." She then looks around quickly. "He is here, isn't he?" The young woman begins looking around with fondness in her eyes.

Flitch sinks down lower.

Yuleg sighs and shakes his head. Yuleg slips a sack filled with a few sizable gems and coins. "Altogether, they are worth about 12 gold pieces." he informs Achuirus. "We couldn't bring it with us, but there is also a few barrels of fish for you back at the Inn."
This payment represents 1 Treasure Bundle.

I've tried to provide some of the backstory and drop hints as to more, if you wish to inquire further. I will pause here for now, before moving us to the Cove.

Achirius eyes Filtch suspiciously. If there ever was one that would betray others for his own skin, it would be him, and gods knows he had the opportunity.

"Welcome all. I think we should post a guard until all have arrived. This is tricky business and if things go sideways we need to be prepared..."

"Filtch, is there anything you want to tell us? You are acting a bit strange and I do not like that you left an easy trail to follow."

Did we ever receive payment from filtch?

Achurius wrote:

Yes. Flitch offered the PCs a disguise kit, repair kit, and minor healing potion and some forged documents. Such was his payment.

Achurius wrote:
"Filtch, is there anything you want to tell us? You are acting a bit strange and I do not like that you left an easy trail to follow."

"What? Uh, no. Jus--" The thief says, clearly uncomfortable. He gets no further words out before...

"Flitch-Bear!" Vurna cries out, having now spotted the thief sitting in the filth. She she rushes over to embrace the Varisian man. "I was worried there for a little while, but it is true. Isn't it? You waited for me! We'll be sailing away together!" She bats her lashes at the man, who remains speechless.

Flitch manages to awkwardly rise to his feet, brushing off the dwarven woman, then some of the filth before Vurna goes in for a second hug.

Taking in the scene, Yuleg rolls his fatherly eyes, then turns to Achurius. "You had to put us all on the same ship, didn't you? And just after I had thought I had finally convinced my girl to move beyond her crush." The man sighs. "Assuming we make it onto the ship, it is going to be one very long trip."

The dwarf sighs again, louder this time. "Let's get this overwith, then. Shall we?"

Captain Kallade steps up behind Yuleg and pats him on the shoulder. "Don't worry." she assures the father. "I've been keeping an eye on Flitch without him noticing for some time and I'll continue to do so until we get to port in Magnimar. Vurna may be enamored with him for now, but she is a smart girl and our 'charmer' has no where to hide on the ship. I am sure that she'll figure out what that petty scoundrel is really like in no time."

Burden of Envy: Table 1 | Table 2 | Guardian's Covenant (Table 2)

The sewer tunnels lead to a series of natural stone caverns, which lead to Shard Cove where there is only a thin stretch of beach. The tide here at the cove is high. The water is calm, pure, and drops quickly to a depth of forty feet.

As the sun begins to rise, the shape of a shape can be seen in the distance, though its crew remains below deck in an effort to avoid drawing attention and to avoid detection from watchful eyes in the city towers.

There are no boats or flotation devices for navigating the waters. A pile of ash and charred timber remains sit at one edge of the beach.

"Oh, yeah." Flitch mutters upon arrival. "I probably should have mentioned that Captain Remmith told Guaril that he wouldn't risk putting any of his crew into boats to fetch us. Oh, and I should probably add that once Guaril left town, I burned all the boats that he had had me secure when I was going into hiding. I didn't want them to be found or me getting caught. "

"So, would you like us each to swim alongside you?" Flitch asks, pointing to the other "clients". "Or, do you plan to swim close enough to the Rolanna’s Prayer yourselves in order to ask Captain Remmith to loan you one of the life rafts so you can come back and pick us up all dry?"

A map of the cover waters is now on Slides.

Rules for swimming are also on Slides. As the water is calm, Swim checks would be needed only to move more quickly than that provided by a Success.

It appears to me that Noggin is offering to swim out to the ship to fetch a boat from the waiting Rolanna's Prayer, but that the others are suggesting purchasing a boat in town and bringing it back through the sewers? Which is it?
