8 hours is not enough rest for anyone to get anything back. It has to go a full 24 hours for restoration of spells, Ki points etc.

I'm going to say it's a bit less than that, based on some of your exploration. However, it would have to be 24 hours after Bardos' last seance, and the spell preparation of the others.

The chosen door opens easily, requiring only a touch on the glowing green circle beside it.
Beyond is a large, unoccupied, unlit chamber. There are a pair of doors on the east wall. The wall in between the two doors is made of thick glass starting about 3' above the floor, with a small room behind the glass.

"The slick-looking floor doesn't seem so slick Mr. Slick," says Bardos slickly while walking on the slick-looking floor with Slick. He stands in the middle of the room and concentrates.

Bardos makes his way to the center of the room, heedless of the way the rest of the party are carefully staying to the sides. Suddenly, the floor vanishes beneath his feet, revealing a 15'x15' opening in the middle of the floor. Fortunately, he does not plummet to the area below, but instead gently floats down to where two smaller versions of the monster centipede are waiting for him.

Bardos has fallen into a large, two-tiered chamber. He falls slowly enough to keep his footing as he descends to the lower level. There are two doors on the upper level of the room, which is far larger than the opening he came through.
Andretta and BR-N3R quickly race into the observation room, but have nothing more to offer than "helpful" comments.
"Bardos! Look out!"
"Observing."
The two hatchlings quickly scurry down the walls of the pit, and move to flank the mystic.
The pit Bardos is in is 30' below the observation room, with the surrounding tier 10' up from him. Bardos is directly below the center of the 15x15 opening.

For the record, I misinterpreted the GM's comment about Slick noting "the feeling of the floor does not match its appearance" meant that Slick was walking on it. Bardos is a bit spaced out most of the time, so bring it on, but "heedless" wasn't really the intent here. It's been a long week and I am bit over-sensitive right now, but I felt I should explain.
