Well, it's only five hours, and we have until Sept 5th before we get to the next part with just this encounter left and the rune garden, so I wasn't going to bother with a backup for now.

I may ask for one on Saturday though!

I'll be out of town ALL day Saturday for a wedding.. like 3-4hrs of driving each way with a wedding mooshed in the middle kind of day. But Sunday I should be lazing around the house and ready to post!

The con was fun! I chose to play Starfinder today using my Mechanic. He's an Android named Galaxy 7 who hates Apple......s. The PFS/SFS crowd here seems tiny - there were only 5 tables, 2 of them playing Starfinder. It could also be because it was Thursday though, we'll see how Saturday goes.

Cup, would you like me to go ahead and pass the token and deduct 3 of your IC rounds? Any preference on which table it goes to?

I'm having too much fun with him in pathfinder for that to happen. I do look forward to playing him with many of you in Gallix's game the second half of gameday.

He has an exocortex instead of a droid, and he constantly mocks Androids who have droids instead for not being able to easily and conveniently swap out memory cards :P

Its been almost a week since someone posted in here so I figured I'd refresh it with a wet weather report:

Drizzly, rainy morning here, but warm, in the low 60s. It kinda sucked getting up at 6am and it still being pretty dark outside :(

Football starts tonight! Yeeeah!

Weather here has been pretty good, pretty hot over this past weekend, but much more reasonable temps this week so far, usually only getting up into the 70s or 80s. Biggest issue we've had has been crazy amounts of haze coming in from all the wildfires in California, Oregon, and Montana. I live maybe 20 miles from the foothills of the Rocky Mountains and I can't see the mountains at all most of the time with all this haze!

My coworker just flew out to Montana yesterday to help battle the forest fires there for a couple weeks.

Ya I've looked at that spell before too, looks like an interesting but often underpowered spell unless in the correct circumstance. It would be hard to choose it over lightning bolt in most circumstances.. other than of course it isn't elemental damage and the possibility of providing 'prone' afterwards. Cool spell though, glad you took it. Its nice to see some uncommon spells get used.. but you won't see Mr Peppers using them usually. :(

Now you see why I rarely play full casters. There's a lot of spells that are very situational or are "save and nothing happens."

(btw, I did prepare Lightning Bolt)

Ya those SoS spells really rely on getting save DCs high, but they sure do shine when someone fails the save!

It is a nice change of pace though to have spells that do more than just xd6 dice save for half damage. But I did build Mr Peppers in mind that he wanted to be able to combat the use of common spells against himself and his friends, and the best way to do that is to have those spells prepared and able to counter those 'lesser' arcane riff raff!

Bah. I do not feel good this morning. Woke up snotty and tired and woozy. Tried to take a nap and it did not help.

I've asked for a backup in the game I am GMing because I suddenly realized I can no longer focus. Bot me.

On another note, my weekly Monday Roll20 game, playing The Emerald Spire AP lost its healer to a change in work schedule so we're looking for a replacement.

We play Monday, weekly, from 5-10pm Eastern Standard Time (roughly). Its not PFS, and its on Roll20 via voice chat and of course the Roll20 interface/maps. We've been using Skype for the voice chat but that could change to another free service that I can't remember its name...

Things have gone off the rails a bit the last couple levels as we're all now ghouls, (I'm sure the GM would do you the 'favor' as well) so being able to heal means harm at this point. We also need a healer in some form, the two of us that can UMD wands of inflict light only get you so far...

If anyone's interested and able to commit lemme know :) This is the group I did all of The Shattered Star AP with and we started this one a couple/few months ago.

Ghouls lose all abilities they had in life....you took UMD afterward?

Yeah, I think the writers realized some groups would plow through that devil encounter. It says the PCs can keep roleplaying or that I can repeat an encounter from the first part.

I'd say the bless weapon made a big difference but it may not have if its DR was only 5. He did get some licks in though before he ended.
