Not long now before our next special starts. I'm really looking forward to it, I miss running games for you guys, and the whole team will be here!
On a much less positive note (evil grin), I may be a little less lenient on Knowledge checks going forward. In the past, I've basically spit numbers out right from statboxes. I'd like to follow what I think is a little more fair - for every 5 you exceed the DC, you can choose to know a piece of information from this list. I probably won't say "it has 25 SR" but rather "it's known to resist spells quite well."

When I use Knowledge checks, I usually give the monster's name and general information when they get the DC. If players beat the DC by 5 I'll give exact numbers on one of three categories:
- attacks
- defenses
- special abilities
If they manage to beat the DC by 15 or 20, I just let them read the statblock. It's not like they can retry or take 20.

I'll take a hint from Hmm. Let's try to plan the route here so we can move through these encounters quickly.
Should I assume upstairs, then everything downstairs (if you want a specific order for these two downstairs encounters, let me know), then the rune garden?

If you would like to know the status of our special as a whole, there is a tracker here. Other than the active/inactive markers, it self-updates every time the document is loaded, so the information is always current and accurate.
Reaching one of the milestones in an active row will trigger some sort of event for all the tables.

The aid token can be used for one of the following benefits:
- Allied Offensive: A Pathfinder agent attacks a creature at the same time as you, dealing 2d8 damage and providing flanking until the beginning of the attacker's next turn.
- Burst of Healing: Heal the entire party for 3d6.
- Timely Inspiration: +2 Inspire Courage for 3 rounds. Competence bonus.
- Provide Knowledge (must be boosted): Gain the benefits of a Knowledge or Spellcraft skill check use to identify a magical item.
To boost: Succeed at a Knowledge check of your choice
- Provide spellcasting (must be boosted): Gain the benefits of a spell cast by an ally.
To boost: Cast one of the following: lesser restoration, neutralize poison, remove curse, or remove disease. No other spells can be used.
What is a boost? When a table gets an aid token but does not need its benefits, they can choose to boost it with a skill check or by meeting other criteria and pass it on to another table. You can only boost when passing the token if you choose not to use the token. Even the Allied, Burst, and Timely Inspiration benefits can be boosted.

To boost Timely Inspiration, you have to expend 3 rounds of a bardic performance. The boosted effect increases the competence bonus by 1 for another table.

I'm in agreement that we should boost the aid token, although if we get into another hairy combat like the one upstairs, healing 3d6 for free isn't bad either.
