Cassandra Leigh |
Cassandra was getting angry that she couldn't hit the cursed creature. Even when it was distracted she couldn't seem to hit it and then things got worse. She felt the magic flow into her, cold and foul, and her body start to seize up. She tried to stave it off, to push through it and strike again...
Will: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5
...but her body refused to obey and she froze as the cold magic topped her from moving at all.

Amigail hit it but it made the concentration check. Merelda will still need to make her save.

Kirzon and Boros race around the corner unaware of how the fight is transpiring but hoping that they reach in time.
Lililinda reads the words aloud from the unfurled scroll but the power of the spell appears too powerful for the young sorceress.
Merelda shrugs off the effects of the scream from the undead creature and screams as she sends a ray at it. The ray unfortunately misses. In the back Innis continues to call upon the guidance and blessings of Calistra aiding the party.
Cassandra still paralyzed somehow finds the resolve to free herself from the magic and just in time as she watches the creature takes his blade in both hands.
Amigail. Your Turn.

You watch the creature stagger but he moves forward as if the magical blasts somehow righted it.

Innis |
Innis grins devilishly as the creature falls by her hand. She beckons the knowledgeable old dwarf over "Kirzon your expertise is required." she gestures to the fallen creature and it's equipment.
Party:: +2 skills
Amigail Trentwell |
1 person marked this as a favorite. |
"Nice shot," Amigail comments to the killin' Calistrian, but her attention is centered on her falcata. "Why can't I seem to hit anything with this thing?" she asks aloud. "And why don't I do much damage when I DO connect? Might need to alter my technique a bit...short, choppy cuts, maybe."
Someone took Weapon Specialization for her bonus feat! Now only if she could hit occasionally in the first place....
Innis |
Innis obviously quite pleased with herself remarks "Perhaps Calistria was just as offended by your regard for her priestess as I was. You should be more careful with your tongue she is known to be quite vexing."
Merelda "The Widow" Widdomeria |
Merelda carefully walks up to the creature's corpse, then spits on it and kicks it hard.
"I TOLD you to go down."
She then looks to Innis and Lililinda with raised eyebrows.
"Sure you don't want to learn such a spell yourselves? Seems very handy to me. Besides...who knows what we might face NEXT."
She then waits patiently to help Innis and Kirzon relieve the creature of it various useful bits.
