Innis |

Upon returning to the surface Innis boldly flaunts herself as High Priestess of Calistria and Saviour of Cassomir. True to her word spoken days ago Calistria and Innis' name spread like a wildfire all throughout the city. Having already planted the seeds of her ascension with both the common folk and within the Cassomir constabulary her new status offering a hefty weight of influence and uneasily contested unofficial authority. Considering all they've been through freeing Nathan Trentwell proves an easy task for Innis' silver tongue and other beguiling skills; his execution delayed in the ensuing chaos of the city plague.
After the teary-eyed reunion Innis strangely (though who could fathom the mind of the Changeling) also offers Amigail her own freedom "Serve me as you will but I'll not have you tethered to me by something as sterile as oath-keeping." Mis-matched eyes appraise the other woman waiting for an answer. What does Amigail choose a life with Innis would likely be wild, unpredictable and dangerous after all and that's without mentioning her precarious moods or passion for deception.
Innis uses her newfound wealth and influence to claim the Pike and Tankard Inn as her base of operations re-naming it The Nightingale. The formerly dank shell of an establishment now bustling with life; visitors coming to entreat blessings from the Saviour or simply so listen to her enchanting songs. She takes under her wing a small group of passionate, ambitious and devoted individuals her 'Songbirds' as she casts her webs through the cracks of the recovering city.
@Merelda As a Calistrian sister and uniquely placed inquisitor how does Merelda feel or respond particularly to the idea of High Priestess Innis? Assuming you finally track down the man responsible following a lead of deaths unrelated to the plague how does the inquisitor inflict her judgment? Do you take advantage of the increase in Calistrian popularity in any way?

Merelda "The Widow" Widdomeria |

Merelda will probably stick around just to see what happens...becasue either way it works out will be hilarious to watch.

Wow, I didn't realize that it had been February since I last posted in game for this. I know we had a rather large haiatus in there but still. My apologies. I ahve been trying to keep up but this one drifts down on my rather fast some days and I've been losing track of it.
It seems we are bluffing our way through here but things have taken a turn for the worst. Is there any specific thing I need to keep in mind on this before responding in some fashion? Tempted to just have Cass be the silent bodyguard right now.

Innis |

We've been inching forward for a time, just wanted an excuse to write for the character hence the above.
@Cass we are in discussion mode, I'm sure we've gone off the module rails here so it's up the the GM to decide what happens next. Nothing you need to do in particular, if a fight breaks out we fight. i wouldn't say things have turned for the worse yet, maintaining calm, a level head and hospitality at least IRL when someone is growing agitated is effective deescalation technique.
@Kirzon, Innis would likely want to keep you around she'd probably affectionately burn your home down so you had a reason to stay around the city or atleast force you to confront her rather than lose yourself to the muck of the swamp. Maybe Merelda could do me that favour she's got a high enough stealth score....just make sure he's not inside when you do ok ;)
Though that idea of Guardian is intriguing. I'm sure she'd find a way to support you in that. As it aligns with her own agenda.

Amigail Trentwell |

Yup, saving her father is Amigail's #1 priority. If we survive and then accomplish that, Ami would have no compunctions against following Innis into further trouble. She's not a fan of the meanness Innis sometimes shows, but she can't argue with the results of her leadership,
(Unless, of course, this encounter is our Waterloo.)

Innis |

Lol you gotta take the good with the bad Innis is a very full package. Also Amigail if she's intent of following Innis around she might need to learn how to wear a dress. Maybe Lililinda can tailor one for you.
I'm sure the GM will see us through, just keeping people and myself entertained while we wait.

Lililinda |

Lililinda still intends to open a fashion boutique. Perhaps fashionable yet functional apparel for the modern adventurer on the go

Merelda "The Widow" Widdomeria |

If you add leather outfits, whips, and chains, then Merelda will shop there. You could start a whole new line of Dominatrix style work/lounge wear!
=)

Why do I suddenly have the suspician that Cass is going to wake up the morning after you visit that store, bound, blindfolded, and with a ballgag in her mouth.

Whips, chains and ropes are functional and multi-purpose.
Will still need that dress for Amigail though, thinking an nice cool azure to compliment Innis' crimson. It'll need to be slit at the side for freedom of movement and flowy but not enough to get tangled in. I'm sure you'll figure it out. Maybe tack on a crimson choker, something delicate but fierce.
I got a name for your boutique Lili how about Shelyn's Blush ;)
Other than night to remember (or forget) what would Cass have planned other than putting as much distance between her and Innis as humanly possible ;P

Smart lady...

I’ll be without internet access for a period, so please bot my character during my absence. I applied for assisted-rate access, but the process is taking a while. I’m hoping to be back online in a week or so; if things drag out beyond two weeks, I’ll do my best to find a way to hop online long enough to give an update.

Innis |

Will poke and see what's up. Let you all know soon.
If the game does close though once again the utmost pleasure RP'ing with you all.

Cassandra Leigh |

much as I got bored given the huge amount of dungeon crawling in this one I'd like to still see it through. I think we were fairly close to the end already.

Innis |

Hi guys, just wanted to let you know i did talk to the GM. Hopefully we'll get some sort of update on all this.

Innis |

See that's always the caveat with dark rituals they don't always go as planned.
Kirzon I believe the DM may have changed the setting slightly from the original module (to Cassomir). Other than that it's been pretty faithful follow through.
If everyone else is in agreement for Kirzon to take over telling the last chapter the I don't see a reason not to. The campaign is obviously intended to be difficult to the extreme if you do take over my only ask is that you don't pull any punches. I'd rather lose and die than get eased to victory by a former teammate taking over the game. Which also includes dying in this very room if that is in the cards.
Will Kirzon the character retire or be botted (playing both sides seems too much power/investment.)
Lady Calistria err...umm Innis has spoken.

Kirzon |
We'll see what exactly happens to Kirzon and Boros, but they probably won't be active participants once I go down this route.
Agree this is meant to be a hard campaign. I've been considering whether a slight boost in player power would be appropriate. That's more fun than pulling punches. Will think on it as I explore the material.
It'll take some time for me to ramp up, so please be patient.

Kirzon |
Hi folks,
I'm interested in giving each of your characters a boon. This will strengthen your characters to face the challenges ahead. Here is what I propose for each of you.
Amigail--You gain Swashbuckler Finesse.
Cassandra--You can attack and threaten adjacent squares with a reach weapon.
Innis--Your Magical Knack trait applies to spellcasting from all classes. (You can change your spells known/memorized given this new ability.)
Lililinda--Your mind-affecting spells affect undead creatures, including mindless undead.
Merelda--The enchantment from Hzarakul will move to your rapier (this will be explained in-game).
Making slow but steady progress on restarting this game.

Innis |

Good to hear.
Kirzon I'll counter your offer of power instead with a boon of beauty a +1 enchantment bonus to my charisma linked to my bonded object. I won't need a magical knack i picked my spells to be evergreen. Besides I've always wanted to be as beautiful a nymph.
We won't encounter any towns from here on but we will already have encountered enough "wealth" for me to have done it myself.

Innis |

I think if Kirzon is true to his word you should just be happy he freed you from my grasp. That's got to count as a double blessing for you lol.

Amigail Trentwell |

Amigail--You gain Swashbuckler Finesse.
Does that include Falcata Emphasis from the Ronderero Swashbuckler archetype? Otherwise, finesse means little to Amigail as she's pretty much tied to her falcata as a weapon.
Falcata Emphasis (Ex): At 1st level, a rondelero swashbuckler is proficient with falcatas (UE) and can treat a falcata as a one-handed piercing melee weapon for the purposes of the swashbuckler’s finesse as well as all feats and class abilities that refer to such a weapon.

Kirzon |
@Cinder--poor thing, I forgot all about you. There may be an opportunity yet . . . stay tuned.
@Innis--okay, that's fine. I don't want to mess up your concept. You can have a +1 enchantment bonus to my charisma linked to your bonded object. Calistria favors you today.
@Amigail--Yes, that works! I thought Slashing Grace also solves that problem, which is a feat you took, but yeah, the point is you can get dex to hit on your Falcata.
