Reaping Stone Campaign: Under Cassomir

Moved the party up.

CLANK. CLANK. CLANK.

Your attention is suddenly shifted to the large sewage machinery as it begins to start operating. You watch as bubbles begin to froth the surface water around it.

"What's goin' on 'ere?" cries Kirzon with concern, as the sewage system begins to clang. Kirzon tries to understand the events. Knowledge (engineering, or any other knowledge skill): 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (18) + 5 = 23

Edit - Just to confirm, Lily gets Kirzon's light spell, so there's some light in the back.

Reaping Stone Campaign: Under Cassomir

Kirzon:
You have heard there are multiple levels of these sewers so you think the machine is regulating the water level on this floor by diverting it somewhere else. You are not sure what has turned this machinery on but given the location of the machinery it would probably be automated somehow

Innis looks incredulously at the three men who up until this moment seemed fearless. "Kirzon how far are we from the lair of our prey. You all cautiously move into the chamber and as you do so you can now a glimpse of a large web in the far opposite corner by the northern wall.
From the web emerges a human sized spider that leaps from the webbing and lands on top of the noisy machinery. Riding on the back of the spider you notice a small blue figure seated. This one wears a necklace of small bones around its neck and you see that one of its large eyes are missing.

He glares at your party and begins to shout towards your group. At the sound of its high pitched squeals you watch as five more of the fey creatures begin to reveal themselves from behind the refuse mounds.
