Gundrun hasn't posted here since July 19...I'll roll his fort saves and hope he comes back soon. All of us should have rolled. I suggest we keep going, but lie the idea of resting every hour to catch our breath.

Okay, No one is exhausted. However the DC for the save increases by 1 each time someone saves it. You are unable to rest on the mountain and would have to return to the two brothers to rest and get rid of the fatigue.

Though exhausted from the altitude, Saarai's magic still prompts her just before something occurs.
"Look out!" she cries as she conjures a ball of acid to throw at the beast.

i still need everyone else to roll a perception check. If you fail it, you won't get to act in the surprise round. The Yeti is currently behind you.

Duskin sees the creature and moves his hands instinctively, creating a Shadow Celestial Dog (DC 14 Will to disbelieve) between the Yeti and his group. The "dog" immediately tries to bit the creature.
Bite (Attack): 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (10) + 4 = 14
Bite (Damage): 1d4 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4
If the yeti tries to move past the shadow dog, it will take its AoO, even with 20% damage in case of disbelief, and try to Trip the Yeti

Kasei holds up his sun pendant of Shizuru. He speaks a word in Minkaian, and a flash of light goes from the symbol to the eyes of the yeti.
Using the Sun blessing. The yeti must make a DC 14 Reflex saving throw or be blinded for 1 round. If he saves, he is instead dazzled for 1 round. If he has light blindness or light sensitivity, he takes a -4 on the saving throw. If that does blind him, it can set him up for sneak attacks from the rogues.
He also draws his sword.

Okay, i am going to be putting room descriptions up now. If there is no actions required in the room, i will continue. Feel Free to Heal UP.
Top Room
Disciples’ Quarters
Eleven ruined mattresses and a few aged and cracked pots are this room’s only furnishings. A section of the ceiling has collapsed in the northwestern corner of the room, causing the wind to howl eerily as it blows over the building. A series of images has been carved into the still-standing sections of the room’s walls, each image indicating a humanoid in a series of different positions and stances.
Next room down, T shaped rug.
Master’s Quarters
This room once served as the master’s quarters. Shang Xu has made his nest in this room and a pile of filth covers the once-fine mats laid upon the floor. If cornered in this room, the yeti fights to the death.
Next Room down
Storeroom
Saving this for later.
Bottom room
Dining Area
Two large, corroded cooking pots dominate the center of this otherwise unadorned, long, tiered room.
Courtyard outside. Right side
Exercise Yard
The remains of four wooden training dummies stand in the northeast corner of this wide courtyard, while a few scraggly plants struggle to grow in the southeast corner. A cracked mosaic lies half-buried beneath years of dirt in the training ground’s center.
Who is the first one into the room?
Male Dwarf Unchained Rogue (Trapsmith) 5/Pathfinder Delver 5 HP: 73/73 | AC: 22 | T: 14 | FF: 18 | CMD: 21 | Fort: +8 | Ref: +15 | Will: +8 | Init: +11 | Perception: +26 | Sense Motive: +6
I'll take point if folk want, I can use my Stealth and Trap Spotter ability to keep us out of harms way.
Gudrun takes point checking out the rooms, keeping his head low and making use of any available shadows to scout any potential foes, hazards or traps.
Applied the Fatigued to my Stealth
Stealth: 1d20 + 7 - 1 ⇒ (16) + 7 - 1 = 22
If there are any traps, the GM makes a hidden Perception check for Gudrun to notice them if he comes within 10ft of them, he currently adds +10 vs traps, or +12 if it involces unusual stonework.

Duskin follows towards the center of the group. He isn't as durable as the front liners, but needs to have enough distance for his illusions if they're needed. Plus, maybe they need his "conversation" skills!
On the exercise yard, I'd like to collect some of those plants, especially if they can provide tea leaves.

Big hairy beast...? Knowledge Nature...?
Knowledge (Nature): 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (18) + 2 = 20
Duskin moves behind Kuwabara. From there, he dances with his hands hypnotically and - as many times before - creates another of his Shadow Eagles. He orders the creature to attack, but keeping an opening for his allies.
The Shadow Eagle is summoned exactly 30ft East from the Shadowcaller's position, and 5-foot flies diagonally SE to full attack the monster.

This is the 9th round of the shadow puppet.
The arrow from Saatai has hit it's target as a shadowy bird appears beside the yeti, who takes little heed of it, and attacks the yeti. Well, Duskin saved... Here comes another creative round! Please bear with me... It's a level 1 PFS bard :)
I moved the GM pet to the square where he can "see" Jones so the Gaze attack can work. I'm summoning the eagle behind the yeti, flanking - please remove the flanking from the attack if you feel I made the positioning wrong.
Once again Duskin starts his act. He knew this was his best tool... Sometimes, his only tool. The shadows start forming behind the yeti, to reveal yet another Shadow Eagle, behind the creature, that immediately attacks the monster.

There is a minimum number of characters. I'm not quite sure what it is, but a period in OOC tags will work.

So I've completed my character update, and purchased everything I think will be useful.
Can we assume we've been given a briefing letting us know we'll be mountain climbing, allowing us to purchase things like climbing kits and cold weather gear?
GM Amsheagar, I noticed your post in the recruitment thread that with 6 players you would add a monster. According to the guide to PFSOP, six players on a season 0-3 scenario automatically play at the higher tier, so we'd be using the 4-5 tier scenario monsters instead of the 1-2.
I personally am OK with this since I like the challenge this offers, and many scenarios only truly reach their full story potential when played at their highest tier.
I should let you know that I have GMed this scenario before by adapting it to my home game (not for PFS credit) and I will keep my OOC knowledge of the story separate from the character knowledge. If you think I'm letting it 'leak', so to speak, please just let me know in a PM and I'll watch my step.

From what i remember, it doesn't automatically bump you up to the next tier, it gives you a +1 on the calculation. But, if you guys want to play up i'll do it.
Besides that, i will be busy for the two days, so i won't be able to post.

In my case, the character is brand new. Everything on his sheet, basically, I just bought: lamellar (leather) armor, arrows (20), dagger, shortbow, backpack, fishhook (2), flint and steel, sewing needle, signal whistle, thread (50 ft.). I have now 51 gp, 6 sp, 5 cp.

Since my last chronicle, I purchased Cold Weather Outfit (8gp), Darkwood Composite Longbow (+2 Str) (2PP), wand of Protection from evil (2PP), a scroll of 2x endure elements (50g), a spiked gauntlet 5g, a healers kit, Climbers kit (80g), healer's kit (50g) and an antiplague (50g).
Note: I have a Whetstone and use it to sharpen my katana whenever 15 minutes of time is available.

I picked up a climbers kit and masterwork battleaxe and a wand of cure light wounds for 2 PP.

About take 10 -- it's really designed for situations where there is a low chance of failure, so you can take the average and avoid it, in routine situations.
Quote: Taking 10: When your character is not in immediate danger or distracted, you may choose to take 10. Instead of rolling 1d20 for the skill check, calculate your result as if you had rolled a 10. For many routine tasks, taking 10 makes them automatically successful. Distractions or threats (such as combat) make it impossible for a character to take 10. In most cases, taking 10 is purely a safety measure—you know (or expect) that an average roll will succeed but fear that a poor roll might fail, so you elect to settle for the average roll (a 10). Taking 10 is especially useful in situations where a particularly high roll wouldn't help. Take 20 doesn't allow consequences on a failure, but take 10 does, otherwise there'd never be any situation where you could take 10 on anything.
Sean K Reynolds post on taking 10 for additional designer support (I know he's not a designer now but he was at the time this post was made).

Okay, i need to make this list now and save it for all of my games. Take 10 and Take 20. What you can use them on and what you can't use them on.
Outside of Combat
Okay to take 10 on
Acrobatics, Appraise, Climb, Craft, Disable Device, Disguise, Fly, Handle Animal, Heal, Knowledge Checks, Linguistics, Perception, Perform, Profession, Ride, Sense Motive, Sleight of Hand, Stealth, Spellcraft, Survival and Swim.
Okay to take 20
Appraise, Craft, Disguise, Fly, Handle Animal, Heal, Perform, Profession, Ride, Sense Motive, and Survival.
While in Combat
Take 10 on Perception, Sense Motive, and Appraise.
It is not okay to take a 20 while in combat on anything.
There will be times that I will require a roll, these times might mean that we are going into a combat, or that there is something you need to see. At these times, I will state “Please Roll”

Though as a trap-finder, I think you're missing a couple on Take 20.
