Sorry, been having tons of WiFi issues over the last few days, and with that priorities had to be shifted. I'll post in gameplay, but Helod doesn't care much for the scrolls, he's more of a slash and burn kinda guy.

Ah, the curse of Paladins and Clerics - a hatred of all things involving skills that aren't Diplomacy or Perception.

By the way, if any of you ever have any wifi trouble again and have the possibility of quickly posting here on Discussion (I realize you probably didn't Helod and Einor), I will just move on without you and not have nag at people again. This goes with all situations of being unable to post, leave me notice and it's no trouble at all.

Ok well in that case, I will try to post between now and Thursday daily, but no promises. The wifi at my house is ridiculously slow right now, and completely unreliable of actually posting information that I would take time and care to write out, but I may have a chance to post at school...

For future reference for knowledge checks like this, are we to assume the information learned by a specific party member is disseminated among the group, or are we to roleplay out the sharing of information? I wasn't sure if you wanted to keep things moving along by just assuming we all know what each member has learned.

Ah yes, well in any non combat based check like this, you can assume you tell the party. This is of course cancelled if someone says he withholds some information. In combat however, it would need to be role played out, for example, yelling out that Medusa can turn you to stone.

slow posts for me today work begins again

Hey guys, this is completely unrelated to gameplay, but I am currently working with a group of friends to program from the ground up a 2D RPG video game. If any of you are interested in supporting this, as we are still pretty small, please go like my facebook page Disparity.

As of right now I am planning on using google docs for mapping, if anyone has any better ideas for dungeoning I would be happy to hear them.

That works. I'll just have to open them at home and save them to desktop since neither my phone or my work computer can open google docs. Very interested to see how combat fleshes out with so many of us being ranged characters. I'll try not to burn anyone too badly. :)

Well if we are doing google docs then I will need gmail accounts from everyone so that I can allow you to add to the tactical maps when it becomes time. Private message would probably be best if anyone is worried about people stalking the thread (you never know...)

Ok ok. I was somewhat unfair, but life sort of has attacked me recently... I'm of course talking about my absence. I haven't been able to post much for the last week or so, and it will be that way for about another week. This is because of personal life stipulations I'd rather not share, and I understand if the consensus of the group is to leave me behind, but I promise if you can handle waiting about one more week of me posting occasionally, I will have a lot more free time to post and such. As promised, I have gone through the Game and discussion threads and am ready to post. From what I understand, Whurly is last on the initiative count (due to his roll) so he plays after rats (and everybode else). I will simply state actions for whenever Whurly's turn is, trusting the GM to be able to handle those later in the recapitulation.

Just FYI - I will be travelling tomorrow, first to Frankfurt and then to Lagos, so I may be slow to post in the next 24 hours, but afterwards I should be fine. Just a heads-up.

Too bad about the initiative order. I'd much rather Whurly was right out front with his enviable AC.

I've checked it prior to posting, here's what Paizo site says about Total defense:

Total Defense
You can defend yourself as a standard action. You get a +4 dodge bonus to your AC for 1 round. Your AC improves at the start of this action. You can't combine total defense with fighting defensively or with the benefit of the Combat Expertise feat. You can't make attacks of opportunity while using total defense

But as always - you're the GM, and I'll go by whatever ruling you make.

How are we tracking HP? Should we update our alias profile every time we take damage or do a mental tally or will you keep track?

I would like you to update your alias after every combat, during combat I can keep track though.

I do not get it - Severn clearly stated and you moved him to Q15. Why could not Whurly go to Q14 then?

You totally could, but the rat you were going to kill got shot by Askar. So being at Q14 wouldn't allow you to swing at anything, so I tried to have you run around, if you want to change that then go ahead.
