The Gestalt Epic Level Mythic game.

The setting -

For 50,000s years the Ziggurat of the God Games as not been seen,
Now news has come to you that once more it has arrived on your plane,
that once more the games will start and one just one, the winning being will Join the ranks of god like inside the Ziggurat. Where power unknown to any planes can be had, where truths that should never be told are said to be hidden. You also hear that others are gathering their powers to take the challenges in an around the Ziggurat of the god Gamers. You must move fast, gather what followers you can and head there by any means. Its location the say in a place called "The World Wound" even now empires are sending army's to seek it, Princes and kings, grate mages and Demons search for it. You need to get there before they, scrying gets nothing but a polite "No" Even the gods themselves seem to be keeping well away? why more to the point why is it here NOW? after all this time, something they said came before even the 1st world. You have to no, you must know, now is the time to act.

1: 25 Point Buy
2: Race, Any this dos not go over the 21 Race Point build in race builder, that go's for monsters as well, you remake it in Race builder then go from there, if you take a core race etc like Human you can Spend the RP to again stuff in stop, what ever race you are, RP max of 21.
3: Level 20th both sides of the Gestalt + 10th Level Mythic [You can take advanced or Mighty but not both, Giant is fine to stack but you must pay levels on one side of the Gestalt, no levels in Monsters, see Race above if you wish to play a monster.]
4: Classes, Any on http://www.d20pfsrd.com/ it has to be on there or its out, SO YES to 3PP and YES to Psionics, and YES to Godlings.
5: 5 traits and 2 Drawbacks. [that right 2]
6: Feats, you MUST take the leadership feat and have a cohort and a band of follower minimum. [This is very impotent to the game.]
7:your building with 17,000,000 gold, From this you have to arm and equip yourself your cohort and ALL you followers [NO CRAFTING TO get prices down, IT MARKET PRICES ALL THE WAY before start of game] any and every thing you own comes from that.
8: Stat and equip all cohort's and followers so I can understand them as NPS] also a cohort needs a background with description and follows need a description and band them by level.
9: Your PCs background, How did you get to where you are now, what did you do, a want to know who your PCs
10: Aliments - Any [That's right even CE, your not in a party, your the head of a army, if your good your kind to them if your bad your mean to them, But I want to know HOW you control them, this is also KEY to the Game]

NOTES: My spelling suck as I am dyslexic, sorry nothing I can do but I do try. If good spelling means more to you than fun, then this is not the game for you.

In this game there will be a kind of PvP but through the proxy's of cohort's, and followers, this game will be as much about politics as it will be about killing stuff. Take your time and work to make your little army well. Your very lives may depend on it.

I will keep this open for 4 weeks, because this is going to be a lot of work for you guys. Closing date, 10-11-2014.

Wile you build I would like players to check and help each others Builds.
I'm good with the rules but not that arrogant I think I know them all or to that point most of them with something like this, Also I will miss stuff and your help would be cool.

What I am like as a GM, I get spelling wrong, rules wrong now and then and may have to take a short brake from time to time because of RL.
But I love flavour, The RULE OF COOL and for the most part moving things along. I will be checking the game once a day and like players to post once a day on average.

HOW the game will start:

The big problem with GMing a mad game like this is the hours you need to get every thing ready for a big old fight where you can show your stuff.

Well in this game your going to help me, Its the idea of your Followers and Cohort will be doing stuff in your stead.

The God Gamers set up the Grate games, with a number of Challenges, Think of it as the Olympics of Pathfinder/DnD

But you will not be taking them on your own, there will be others, now you can risk our own neck in each Challenge OR you can send someone in your stead.

Each Challenge has its own rules and finish point, some can be bloody an long some simple just hard to work out. AND you can make alliances during the games.

The one who has won the most will pass on to godhood and join the ranks of the god Gamers.

I did pay in a mad game like this one, me and Moneygod and some others. But the GM had melt down and we kind of ran it ourselves for a wile.
It was wile I was playing that game that I came up with this idea.

Simply put the idea is at the start you will have a fixed resource, your Team ME with you at the head. You can have a flag if you like. The wile the games are on, you may be told or you may be allowed to pick WHO dos a challenge off team me. Your followers you or your right hand person.

There are rules to the god games, but as yet you don't know them, one thing you know the Gods let it happen, why you don't know yet. You can make pacts, cheat to a point but at a risk.

At the end Winner takes all.

My games have a streak of humour in them, so funny dark is good.

Its Month/ Day/ Year because of logical numeric progression. The first figure only has a range of 1-12, the second figure has a range of 1-31, and the final figure (if using 2 digit year) has a range of 01-00.

As leadership is linked to PC and there is a real kick with any PC with low Cha, its seem that i n game we may have some comming with vast amrys of 100s and others with 10s

I am going to rethink the Army part and Leadership part and work out an even playing field.

This will take some looking into, I am placing this on hold for a week or two, until I work out what will and will not work or be broken so bad it sinks my game. I may have to comeback with a whole new outline if PC and Army Build, sorry but points being shown to me, show it would be so broken as is.

I'd also point out that to max out the leadership chart, you only need a 20 cha. easily doable, especially with mythic characters.

I haven't found mythic leadership yet, but i'm still looking.

EDIt: NM found the mythic feat, and if you take the mythic feat, you basically can max out the chart no problem, as you get to add 1/2 your tier to your leadership score.

perhaps you should consider having some army lists, using a mix of the npc codex and the monster manual?

for example, you could have (say) an undead army, that would get someone skeletons and zombies at the low end and a lich or mummy at the high end, or a church army that would have acolyte clerics at the low end and paladins, oracles and inquisitors at the higher end, and so on. then allow each character to pick an army that meets the criteria and ban leadership. It might put some initial work on you, but at the same time, it would help people who have to build a character, cohort, and army. It would also give it some structure.

If you were to post number of desired characters +1 in army lists, that would give people that want (say) the undead list a chance to go head to head for that slot, and would help you get stronger submissions.

If I were to use the formula above, I would have the following armies:

An undead army (special rule: you can command all the undead in your army as if they were effected by command undead);

A holy army (special rule: your army all follow the same god, and could be built towards support for that).

A military army (special rule: each member of the army gains a bonus teamwork feat when lead by you [you must have this feat])

A construct army (special rule: Mindless hordes [you get a less powerful but more numerous army)

A wizard academy army (special rule: you can share spells with anyone in your army who can learn spells, as long as they can learn spells from you)

A monster army (special rule: less numerous, more powerful army)

A psionic army (special rule: people in your army can feed your power points at a 4:1 ratio)

those would be some suggestions. Then have a rule that you can only pick an army if it fits the theme of your character (i.e. only undead/necromancer characters can have the undead army, only someone with levels of machine based characters can have the construct army, and so on).

dotting. and watching as this would be interesting and allow me to test out a few builds. :)

ya, I think the second army setup is more manageable. I was looking at 10 squads of space marines along with sargeants, chaplins, and terminators (I was thinking a warhammer 40k themed army, but of course twisted to my own ends).

damn, I don't even know if I could make something this crazy but I'm interested. I don't suppose there's some fan mod that makes herolabs handle gestalt? I do not want to try to make something like this without herolabs :p I saw this is only an interest check, but I like to tinker.

@Peanuts: You should check the third-party updates every once in awhile. Hero Lab's had gestalt capability in Pathfinder for quite some time - and it's excellent.

Regarding leadership, I think many people have missed that the table has a cap of 25th level (25 or higher).

Leadership score is LEVEL, plus Charisma modifier, plus reputation, etc.

So, Everyone is 20th level. Then lets say someone is really trying to get a low score. So they dump their charisma to a 7, and never ever buy any equipment out of 17 million gold that can bump it up by 8. Hell, let's assume they dump charisma and take a race that lowers it to 5. And they never buy anything to bump it to a 10.

Shouldn't be too hard to assume a couple of reputation modifiers to benefit this as well, again, unless the player is really trying to lower their score.

Wouldn't they kinda deserve to only have a 14th level cohort compared to everyone else with a 17th level cohort?

Out of 17 million gold they can't spend a couple hundred thousand on a tome and a belt?

Before I start digging into a submission, I have a couple of questions.

Can we take other templates than advanced or mighty? (limited to one side, takes up levels per CR)

You stated no crafting to reduce pricing, can we still craft customized equipment, but pay full price? If so, do we have to take the crafting feats to have the customized gear? (no price break means we could have paid someone to make it for us)

@darian, Ooh I played that combo before, it was fun (never got past 11th level though, the Druid/monk picked a fight with a star spawn of rovagug)
Though really the army'll mostly just get in your way, there are so many ways to pretty much one shot the army as a gestalt, 20th lvl mythic character,
This of course doesn't include the cohort who'll pull their own weight,
I'd take a cohort and the ability to grant my familiar the levels of my next highest minion over the army
I'd use my massive pile of gold to give myself a few construct body guards (including at least one clay golum for in case I fight something with unbypassable regeneration, and a clockwork servant, because repairs would otherwise be a headache)

I will be taking the unlimited ammo gun + mythic combat reflexes with snap shot tree line. so... unlimited attacks on anyone within 15ft ;)

what is this, we can't craft items for reduced cost in chargen? this isn't madness! its conservative!

are we allowed to stack additional magic enhancements on named magic items?
