Feel free too...I'm just roleplaying Carrick he prefers to try to talk things out especially with humanoids, we'll usually always seek the diplomatic solution.

CyberMephit |

Sorry, fat fingers :/
There isn't really a peaceful solution to this, unless you wish to forfeit the encounter.
Sorry for the delay, I started drafting the combat post yesterday but couldn't finish. I hope to advance the game shortly. Thanks for your patience.

I have the PFS ID of Carrick, Veres and Zorahas, but need it from the rest - Jacques, Elemenar and Criscius.
Also, I've started filling out the chronicles but I can't understand how do I save the chronicle sheet page as a separate pdf? Adobe tells me that it can't do that because the file is encrypted.

So what I do is, do 1 person's chronicle, then hit print, choose current page only, but instead of printing to my print, I choose print a PDF (or adobe), then it makes a file with just that chronicle. Then I go back and do the next one.

Day job, Perform: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (4) + 8 = 12
The dice roller just doesn't want to be generous to Veres. Ah the starving artist route it is then!

GM CyberMephit |

Veres - you had a 27 day job roll a few posts above :) I will use that one.
Overall I counted 1 CLW wand charge spent from Zorahas' wand and 5 charges from Carrick's wand - does that seem right to everyone?
I've sent PMs to everyone with the chronicle sheets (didn't account for the wand charges though). Please check if I filled them correctly as this is my first time!
I will wrap up the gameplay thread tomorrow.

I'll take the better roll, thank you very much! Thanks for running the game and having me along. The Chronicle looks just right.
I hope you enjoyed yourself on your first time as a PbP GM. Good luck in the future and may you have a great time from here on out!
Nicely done to everyone of the players as well. Thanks for the fun. Cheers!

I had fun! I would play again. I am changing out his class though. He was a lorewarden but now that they changed the archetype I think it is better to go slayer and maybe a level or two of paladin to get to the Crimson Templar PRC.

Thank you CyberMephit and my fellow Pathfinders for an enjoyable game! Much thanks!

I haven't had a chance to download my chronicle yet. I will do so tonight.
Regardless, thank you for the great game. It was a lot of fun, and I enjoyed this session quite a bit, even if I still don't understand the point of the merchant negotiations in the middle.

Most, but not all. It's also good vs most fey.

I want to upgrade my bastard sword to MW and cold iron, I just wanted to make sure that it would do what I thought it did. A follower of Ragathiel should be able to inflict damage on demons. :)
Thanks!

4000. Kinda of expensive, it isn't until higher levels that PFS awards this amount of money correct?
The +2 weapons would need to be obtained through a scenario or module correct?

![]() |

Once you have enough prestige to afford buying an item from your faction, as long as you have the money, you can buy it.
In order to buy something beyond your prestige limit, it has to be on a chronicle, and you need the money still.
If you want a cold iron weapon for the early levels, it's reasonable to buy one, and not enchant it. Once a weapon is+3 or higher it counts as being able to bypass cold iron and silver DR anyway so save for that.

There is a free PDF you can download that explains all of the special PFS rules. It's called the Pathfinder Society Roleplaying Guild Guide. In that you will find all these answers.

GM CyberMephit |

The whole merchant rivalry is somewhat of a mystery to me at this point as well - I only know that it comes into play somehow in a later scenario!
I have filled out the event form on the website and filled one session, but it still doesn't show up as 'completely reported'. If I press the 'Report' button I get into a new blank session. How do I report the event completely?

![]() |

On your PFS page, there should be a few different tabs, Player, Player Sessions, GM/Event Coordinator, and finally GM Sessions. Check your GM Sessions tab and see what is listed there.
If that is where you are already looking and it doesn't show anything, then maybe you didn't save and exit after entering your session. Every time you hit the report button, it is supposed to generate a new reporting session and it will give you that blank form page you have been seeing. On the other hand, if there is something in the GM Sessions tab you merely need to click the edit button and check to see what is missing, such as correct/vaid player numbers, your own player number along with character number, mission goals completed, etc...
I am not sure what else, if anything, I might be able to tell you. If that doesn't help, try asking in the Flaxseed Lodge discussion channel. The most knowledgeable people in PFS frequently watch that forum and they are incredibly helpful.

GM CyberMephit |

Thanks for the Flaxseed advice, I will tinker a bit more tomorrow and if all else fails will ask there.
The GM Session tab does show me one session and all fields seem to be filled (unless I'm blind...) but my issue is that on the left-hand side with filters, it says 'Reporting Completed - No' and 'Scenario Mission Accomplished - No' (I did tick a B checkbox in the session and it also says 'Mission Complete - B' in the same filter list)
My next scenario will be 5-04 (also tier 1-5), I hope to start the recruitment later this week (maybe over the weekend).

@CyberMephit - in a couple days go into the the campaign info tab and mark this thread as inactive please. This will remove it from the active tab on everyone's campaign tab. Though still visible on the bottom of the page.
And thanks again!

![]() |

ok I see what you are looking at. You are still getting credit for the session as completed and I noticed that I got my credit in my player tab(TYVM BTW), so I don't know what the "No" stands for other than possible the number completed? I am sure Flaxseed will have the answer.

That's whether the event itself is fully report and closed, not individual sessions.
