I just read the name of this scenario and I believe I've played it already.... do you want to recruit someone else to take my place or just run for 5 for this scenario and I'll pop in for the next game? This is JAF0 btw.

Veres can also use a CLW wand if someone needs me to hold one for them. She isn't normally a front line fighter, but she won't shy from what needs doing to give her team the win. She will sing while she fights, even if not expending bardic performance, unless there is a call for stealth.
If the party faces a choice, I will assume a course of action once at least 4 players have posted and at least 3 have agreed.
I'd like to reserve the right to make rolls for you, if I know what to roll and you didn't provide the roll yourself. Examples: describing something that scenario calls for a check to accomplish, getting ambushed or pickpocketed. Let me know if you disagree with this.
I try to post every day, but once or twice a week I may skip a day if RL gets intense and I don't get enough time to post. I don't expect to be absent for 2+ days and will warn you if that happens. I am in EU timezone, normally I have 3 windows for posting - in the morning (now), at the end of the working day (US east noon / west morning), and before going to sleep (US east evening/ west afternoon).
If you are absent for 2+ days, on the third day I will post on your behalf if that's needed to advance the game. If you do this twice in a row, I will assume you have dropped out.

Hi guys, this is Tundran. Thanks for inviting me! I was thinking about bringing this blaster druid. I need to update him to level 2 with his 3rd chronicle before we start. I am leaving for work now but I will do it later today.
Quite a bit of the "in-game" time is spent sailing along a river (don't think it's a spoiler given the scenario title), so I'm not so sure about this :)

I suppose you're right about that. He would be clamoring to be one of the guides headed into the worldwound...
The RPG guide says that the day job rolls should be filled after the adventure - I think I'll stick to that.
I have a question about the faction missions - I know that in early seasons there were player handouts in each scenario. This scenario has boons for 3 factions but there seems to be no player-appropriate material. Should I warn the players when there is an opportunity to earn a boon? Or is it the players' responsibility to guess it from the in-game information?

Ok, I'm ready to go. Sorry it's taken me an extra day to get updated. I will get caught up in the game thread now.

That's true about when to fill them, but often with PbP I have had GM's call for day job rolls at the start just because they can fill in the chronicles during the large amount of downtime that F2F games don't have. It just makes it easier at the end of a game to get those chronicle sheets out sooner. In fact, at the start of a game, GMs have often given this template to fill out:
Player: Greymore
Character: Veres Sol
PFS#: 133512-15
Faction: Silver Crusade
Day Job:Perform(sing):1d20 + 8 ⇒ (10) + 8 = 18
I know you had us sign up in a google doc, but this helps too. Disregard my day job roll as it was just an example of the template and you had already said you wanted to wait.

Someone remind me to cast message before an encounter, if I forget. I meant to this time, but didn't remember it till after we docked. I'm going to blame that on taxes... just because, well, taxes! :)
At this point it's a bit too late for a peaceful solution, especially after mentioning the extra passengers. Veres attempted a diplomacy check earlier, unfortunately as written the DC doesn't scale and is almost impossible for low-tier characters to achieve. So it's either combat or forfeiting at this point.
I started initiative earlier, all the NPCs ended up higher on the init count. Currently they all have readied actions.

Hey Criscius, Wayfinder is an app you can get for android(maybe for iphone, but I am not sure) that is really helpful when using your phone to access and play in these PbP campaigns. Much easier than using a browser on a phone. I use slides for the maps still, but for the boards themselves, Wayfinder is great.
We are not too far from the end of the scenario, you can do the day job rolls and I will see what has to be done with the chronicles. I understand that the only way to handle them is to print them out, sign and scan back?

Day Job-Perform:Sing:1d20 + 8 ⇒ (19) + 8 = 27
Yep, just use adobe acrobat and digitally sign. You can type the proper text in all the fields easily with that and it is clear for everyone. Then most GMs just use google docs to store the Chronicles and post a shared link in the discussion tab.

I haven't yet, but I will check it out. I wasn't impressed with the other Pathfinder video game, Pathfinder Online. I imagine this is a different group producing it so I will check it out.
Yeah well I haven't backed that one as I learned early on it's led by ex-Eve team and I didn't like Eve (not a fan of PvP in general).
This one is a whole different bag of owlcats as it's led by ex-Nival team behind HoMM V and I loved that game (and some of the earlier ones like Allods/Rage of Mages). This is going to be a classic isometric-style CRPG and the updates so far seem to show the guys know exactly what makes those games tick.
