I’ll leave it to you if you want to RP me passing off the letter to Trenzi or not.
Good recall on Aedia seeing you praying, that was quite a few posts ago.
Watch her turn out to worship Asmodues or something.
Enjoying things?

Oh that’d be just what Connacht needs to deal with right now, lol.
At any rate- yep, I’m enjoying things. I’ve got no advice on things that could be changed, altered, etc.
I saw in one of your other games that you’re setting up a discord server- could I possibly get a link? I already have a discord account, and it could be really useful for if the site goes down for an indefinite period of time like it sometimes does.
Add me as a friend, that post had my username.
Not often we see Connacht get 'out religion-ed'.

Oh boy time for some good ol fashioned bandit culling!
Don't forget to loot every single body and item in the camp and drag it back to town on a sled to sell! Hell, take the tents! Even the corpses are worth something; either to the local necromancer or their loved ones. Don't be shy now, take everything!

Lol that’s basically what Connacht just said to Sesser.
How was the last post? It was written on about 3 hours of sleep and I’m honestly not sure if that was a boon or bane to my muse.
I’m not sure if Connacht’s in much of a speech giving mood after that...
Sleep is always good but it was a fine post.
You of course can choose to do what you will. Lady Sabinus merely intended you to give a speech but that doesn't mean you have to.

Just a few tactical questions!
1. How far away is the group from the valley?
2. How wide is the entrance to the valley?
3. How far is it from the entrance of the valley to the bandit village?
I'm getting nervous, lol. It's not helping that I have a sneaking suspicion that another shoe is about to drop.
1. You are all in a fairly narrow rocky defile, about a quarter of a mile from the entrance. You are actually close to where you saw that Erastil trail marking earlier in the day.
2. Narrow. probably only two or three men abreast at the top, it widens out a bit near the bottom but is a tangle of trees and brush outside the narrow path you followed.
3. 'Village' is a strong word, more then a small collection of huts. Not very far, the entire valley is maybe half a mile at the very most? maybe less?
As for your questions in the Gameplay, there are many paths to approach the lip of the valley but the 'main' entrance' (as far as you know, the only way down), you could probably sneak in. That said, in the dark, it would be hard to see any guards or lookout (Although they had none during the day).

Male Human Nature Fang Druid 5 |||| HP: 16/36| AC: 18 (touch 12, flat foot 17)| F: +7 R: +3 W: +8| Perc: +10 SM: +13| INIT:+1 | Speed: 30ft| Spell Stored in Armor: Ray of Exhaustion| Status Effects: Dealing with Strange Aeons
The main thing I'm asking is if there's a fairly secluded route to get to the "only" way into the valley that wouldn't be blatantly obvious to someone standing watch from just inside the valley.
Of course if Connacht doesn't know even with the help of the spell then, well he just doesn't know. But if possible, it might make his life a bit easier.
Side note- I'm looking over a gear and I'm coming to the realization I wound up paying way less for my gun ammo than I should have. Its a busy day for me tomorrow but I should have time to make the necessary changes then and let you know what changed. The short version of it is that I will have less ammo (but not enough where anything in the past would have needed to be retconned- I've only fired one shot, after all) and might ditch an item or too that I similarly have not used yet. So it should all be good and not cause us any hickups.
Connacht realizes that the best place for a scout or lookout would be up on the rim of the valley, not just inside (that person could be fairly easily avoided unless you plunged in).
Fair enough?
May I do a post first?

Yeah that's perfectly fine! Go ahead and post, I've got a lot on my plate at the moment anyways so it all works out.

Quick clarification- how far out did Connacht go before literally stumbling onto the bandit corpse?
The corpse is right at the top of the ridge, the same place you are going. So that quarter mile to the edge of the canyon.
I hope this all feels like a living breathing world full of people with their own agendas.

It certainly does. The world clearly does not revolve around Connacht and his plans and I like it that way.

Oh what fresh hell awaits Connacht now... will get a post in when I get back from work. The sulphur can’t be a good sign.

Can I get a token for Derdeyn as well? He’s got a faster movement speed than Connacht does so there’s no reason he wouldn’t be able to at least keep pace with me.
Gah, I forgot! Yes, he is totally at your side!

No worries.
As far as Connacht can tell over the course of the split second between when he emerges from the valley and his first turn:
1. Is the well dressed bandit anywhere to be seen?
2. Does he know who fired the arrow?
3. Does it look like the bandits have known for a while about the attack, or they just heard us charging in and realized that trouble was coming?
1. No.
2. Not really, but you don't think it was one near the fire.
3. It looks like they were talking, heard you guys and starting bolting for cover/weapons. They did not have an ambush set up or even prepared positions behind cover.
Mentioned this on Discord, feel free do do what you want but remember that running in front and blasting with your gun might draw lots of arrows.

Quick question-would it be possible to retcon in me Casting magic fang on Derwyn before launching the charge? I honestly forgot I had it prepared when I made the post at the time.

Also- I’m going to be summoning some elementals using a third level spell. Rolling a 1d3 just to see how many I have to work with when I make my post.
1d3 ⇒ 2
I can work with that.
1. Yes to the magic fang.
Cool, summons!

Clarification question- is Sesser fighting the bandit he’s right next to?

Can Derwyn trip the running bandit? Let’s find out together!
If the bandit is using the Run action specifically then he’ll loose his Dex bonus to AC.
Derwyn Attack: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (3) + 6 = 9
Derwyn Damage: 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5
Derwyn Trip: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (16) + 6 = 22
