This is so true. So so true. I have to keep track of all the threads of all the various plots....the truly scary thing is I have no notes or anything. I actually keep track of all of this in my head. :)

Oh yeah.
The smell is mostly covered by fish and new hormones, but it's there.
(A person's smell to an animal is largely keyed to hormones and pheromones, witch differ from person to person. The current pheromones are different, but similar.)

Settro, I couldn't find the DC you were talking about, but it wasn't at the pathfinder sight, and if you are going there for your DCs I'll add my synergy bonuses from my ranks in knowlege arcan and psionics, and the bonus from background (arcane student) bringing me right at 45, what's the spell.

It's a spell effect. Just no preticular spell. Ad if it was from pathfinder, dc to indentify, even with arcane sight, would be impossible.
You failed the check. Simple.

Pathfinder has for "with detect magic" and while casting it does not have modifiers for missing components, least not that I can find, please copy paste the rule you found and from where please otherwise either I get the synergy bonus (pending DM overrule) or we go with the dcs given without modifiers

Ad you are right, now, passing the check by 15, the spell is even more confusing.
(Mechanics- you know what happened.
Reality- a non godling has no clue what just happened, because analizing this "spell" is like analyzing a shadow conjuration of witch you failed your disbelief save. You can see an effect, but no matter how high your check, the spell itself is unknown, and unseen.)

Um Lyn. With what's happening right now, I kinda need the Cariban idea to be finalized as soon as you can. I am pretty sure you lost the pm a while back. I am gonna resend it. If you don't get to it tonight I am hoping I can go ahead with the basic story part, as I can't think of a reason you would turn it down. If there is then we can just retcon it but I can't think why there would be. :)
