Yes, the idea is approved. Make sure to include the details on the progression and such on the character profile for easy reference. Otherwise, you're all set to move forward with that.

So, before I end up throwing up from the sheer stress of this whole fiasco, I'm taking the brief time I have this morning before heading out for the day to address a few things. Since I figure anyone that emotionally invested in making me feel bad is probably spewing that same venom to anyone who will listen.
In the two years that this game has been running there have been a grand total of three people who have left on bad terms. The first got frustrated with being told he couldn't pwn everyone and initiated a PvP incident to get himself banned. He's gained some maturity since then and the hatchet has been buried. The second got frustrated with our constant disagreements and opted out. Obviously you know the third is Spugly. Which had everything to do with how he handled the situation. He was nowhere close to being asked to leave before his tantrum.
So, I will say this clearly lest anyone is sitting there festering about stuff. If you feel left out or unhappy or like your ideas are not being heard, please talk to me about it. Calmly, preferably privately. If it warrants (calm) group discussion we can have a calm group discussion. I don't nor should I have to, tolerate having someone cause drama until they get their way, but I do care very much about my players and whether or not they're having fun.
And unfortunately that's all I have time for until this afternoon.

Since I'm one of the players who is engaging in "dull, banal, mundane, dramaless" RP, let me this:
I am enjoying the small talk with Ginni. Its just like a real life relationship, as two people who hardly know each other work through the first few day of dating.
I realize it might be boring for some, possibly even Lyn, but I am taking it slow somewhat unpurpose. I have plenty of crazy drama, action scenes, etc in store for Ace, and I kinda want him to have a just a bit of a normal life for once. He hasn't exactly had that since he was a wee lad.

Lynora, if Spugly is continuing to send you hate-filled PMs, and generally having the emotional maturity of a twelve year old, then what he is doing is harassment. This is against Paizo board rules. I suggest blocking him from sending you further PMs, and if he posts in the thread again, everyone ought to flag his post for harassment. Since that is what he is doing.
No point beating around the bush, and you definitely don't have to subject yourself to him any longer, period.
I kinda feel bad for his family, since Spugs seems to think that bullying is acceptable behavior.

This 100%. We are past the point of exchanging grievances and the time has come for the respective parties to go their separate ways - we continuing here, him heading somewhere else where, hopefully, he can chill out and maybe find the kind of game he wants since Avalon isn't filling that desired niche anymore.
I'm one of the newest here and I don't pretend to know what's going on down to the nitty-gritty, but there's a point where it's time to call it quits and this is it, and sending aggressive messages is crossing that line. Lyn, I recommend NOT replying to any PMs he sends you - or if you do, with nothing more than "This conversation is over. Don't PM me again." Once you've done that, the discussion should end, and as FCD said anything pursued beyond that is grounds for harassment and asking the staff to step in.

Back from field trip. Have a little quiet time now before I have to head back to the school to pick up the kidlet. Will try to get as caught up as possible in that time.
As far this morning's post goes, I didn't take the bait, deleted and blocked. What I did want to do was to get the info/advice out there on how to deal with it if there are problems with me or the game. In constructive ways that are more likely to get what you want. If I wanted to be trolled and put up with tantrums, I'd still be on speaking terms with my father. It's something I will not put up with from anyone. And hopefully that is the last thing that needs to be said about that.
Oh, and I love the choice of avvy for Lewis the Jabberwock....but not as much as I love the name. :)
