Um. Since your sense motive is high Ace, you get the idea that another attempted hug/etc of Vai may result in a more violent outburst than a mere shove.
She's not exactly in a stable frame of mind at the moment, and Ace knows that she's definitely capable of lashing out in anger (given how he and Vai met).

One to remake the body, another to resurrect him. Wouldn't be hard or complicated. But for the sake of plot, I've got to make him conveniently forget he can do that. I hate HATE HATE when characters do that.

I haz very little internets right now. It takes forever to even make a post and two or three attempts for it to go through. So please bear with me here. I can't really interact much at all.
Spugs, I disagree. Roel has a very important part of the job and has already been contributing. He was told to not just rush ahead and force a solution but to actually work together with the group. His timing was off if nothing else. If he had said I think I know how to bring the pieces together and let people interact rather than just saying he did it that would have been better. He was being told no because of a misunderstanding he had from the PM he got. And it was just on the one action, not all the time. But he tried to repeat the same action the same way and did get told no twice for the same thing. Right now Roel is the only one who knows how to get the pieces all together. It was how he got there not what he was doing that was wrong.

Roel wouldn't say anything. That's just it. He'd just try to cast make whole. If that didn't work, he'd probably leave.
I'm trying to play roel how I made him, not how the plot deems convenient.
Roel, for reasons that are plot related AND setting related AND due to some unique features of the character needing to be rebuilt the limited wish thing just won't work. You could try it all day long. Won't work.

Wish and limited wish are more powerful, correct? And i couldn't just put the body back together, then raise it? I just don't get it, personally. I know you have your reasons, but i sure don't get them.
More powerful doesn't always mean magics play nice together.
Roel is rather likely to leave him like this, you know. He really doesn't care. He hardly understands death, he has never met him, and lacks sympathy and empathy. He doesn't get it, so he doesn't care. If I've fails, he tends to just leave. Sure, he will help if it's easy, but otherwise, he doesn't care.

There is a BOOM, now one knows what happened, an number of players go it investigate, each getting a small part of the story of boom was, working as a team they talk, react, fall out fall in, agree, disagree, and bit by bit work out what the BOOM was, the OMG its a dead player, then Hes not dead just almost dead, what to do now? more, team work, reactions, fall out fall in, agree, disagree etc until Fie may come back.
So you want cake and Tea for RP take 1 if you want fun with a group over days take 2, simples.

I hate being this plot central. I've got to find a way to make an an out of character action seem in-charecter, and if i don't, I could mess up someone else's pc. Moan.
Actually, I have talked to Dalesman about being able to True Res Fei, and so did Krays. I even have a bit more of weight to my "argument" than the Champion of Death does.
But we were both told not to, for the sake of all involved.
As I said, Ace is a bit stuck on how and why Roel is causing the pulling sensation. He knows why Vai is, since its obvious she loves him deeply.

I will not make him act out of his character. "Forgetting" limited wish is bad enough. He won't really ask for help, or offer it. He just does stuff, and if he fails, he gives up.

No. It's not. He doesn't understand. their emotional issues at all, and feels no problem leaving them. As far as he knows, he- would just use the spell to rebuild the body in front of him, then resurrect it. I can make him forget. For him, that's at least mildly beleiveable. Him working with others without them directly asking him a question every single time they need to know something? Not happening.
Which is what I am trying to resolve. I, Monkeygod, know that Ace need Roel's help, or at least he is needed to bring Fei back to life.
But Ace has not idea about this. Vai makes perfect sense. She's Fei's girlfriend, and clearly loves him deeply.
Roel? He's just a more sentient than normal ooze to Ace. I don't even think they've actually ever interacted before.
