It's been on a very low list of priorities, tbh. I'm on call this week, and worked 14 hours yesterday. Rest of the week doesn't look any better, so I'm trying to just keep up with the game thread atm.

I just finished my Senior project*, the topic: dungeons and dragons. the result: pass, flying colors

*a project requiring a 5-7 page paper on a topic followed by 20 hours, minimum of work on said topic, everything else is pretty much up to the Sr doing the project, it's pass fail and well I passed :)

i intended it to be more like, taking away their pistol, implying I had a cannon while actually having one and then well the rest of what you said

This roel interaction should be short overall. He doesn't talk too much or too well.

Sorun knows how to invite and barter with outsiders (elementalist) without using hammer hand tactics (which he would have shared if you hadn't single posted the whole encounter)

Sorry - today just got away from me. Didn't realize how late it was...

If you want to narrate that's fine. I'm dealing with about half a dozen RL things since yesterday that couldn't wait, I have to try and make it to a job networking function tomorrow afternoon, and I have to get ready for an actual interview (yay) on Thursday morning/afternoon.

I'll try to post something early AM tomorrow if I can (probably the reason why Fei isn't allowed to do spontaneous fun things), but if I can't then just throw up some filler and move on to the next period.

is it my imagination or not that this current race started almost immediately after Grim and Lang had a race in the same location? (without any fanfare I might add)

Just wanted to address this while I had a chance...

I didn't realize there had been some other bit of racing going on earlier, to be honest (I wasn't looking for anything like that while I was skimming through all the other posts).

We're not intentionally trying to steal anyone else's thunder, if that's the question here. Apologies if that was the impression :)

actually our race was short and not really as interesting (we handled it in only a couple of posts) I just thougght it was funny the timeing

I never even realized about Fei having a race until I noticed the start.

Oh and the ice thing was not in retaliation either, I am confided that the racers are skilled enough to avoid it or someone shows up and returns the ice to water at the last second.

Didn't think it was, sir - I'm just trying to figure out where everything could go painfully wrong here. If Lang accidently sets loose a mini-tsunami on Fei while working on his bending, it will just be sooner rather than later, that's all ;P

Also... Fei and I were discussing this... Fei's top speed is somewhere around 120 km/h... so it should be interesting to see what Dalesman does with this wall of Ice. :D

Sorry dave by my math it only works out to 63 mph

140ft per round
times 10 rounds per min = 1400 ft / min
times 60 min/hour = 84000 ft / hour
divide by 5280 feet / mile is approx 15.909 mph
x4 for run speed equates to approx 63 mph.

I can confirm Lang's calculations.

Fei's ground speed is 160'.

And just so you guys don't miss the context:

Vai's half-elf fly speed is 90' with good maneuverability, but her dragon form speed is 200' with poor maneuverability. Hence all the switching.

its all cool I never factor spells because they are not reliable as a guranteed condition.

I can fly at 1.43 continuous an hour. So. . . . But max dimension dooring 2 miles in 52 seconds.
