Does contact with water harm fire birds?
No only cold does. Water is just usually too cold.
Contact with ice harms firebirds. Water is okay. As long as it isn't really cold they can swim and bathe just like anyone else. That's why Chara wasn't afraid of going in the water, but she was scared of the ice tunnel.

Would have done something different but he really didn't know how long he could hold a tunnel open. So He put away to have braces in. Not to mention he didn't think that Chara or Sun could walk on water.
Still doesn't change the fact he didn't know that ice is dangerous to firebirds.

You folks are welcome to guess all you want about Anahita-- express and share, or what not, but, I'm fairly certain it's /not/ going to be what you may guess, but that's just me.
The bigger 'story' behind her isn't her profession(s)/classes, it's who and what she's become over the course of her 10+ years adventuring, and resolving the MANY issues she has, that aren't clearly apparent.
Though-- some folk have touched on them! And she's T-Rex'ed her way through others (and /through/ others, sorry Lang. ^.^).
So guess away, I'm not promising I'll reply or respond to your guesses, I prefer to keep IC stuff IC (as I've posted many times in the past).

I find this whole adventure thread rather interesting..
to me I am seeing n entire series of comics. some have thier own individual series others as a group.
the elemntary kids have thier own series as does the older kids.
with the occasional overlap and cameos in each other's
I see sub plots/stories with the overall storys.
even a "battle of the bands' series.
just some random thoughts as I try to clean the pices of chicken from my keyboard becuase I am a clutz and dropped it there.

Anyone who can read off a scroll and understand it would work as well, but would eat up a scroll each time. Dave is a sorcerer.
Oh, and adon could have showed a quick adaptation allowing sorcerers to use it, but his bias made him "forget" to bring it up.
The school is surprisingly short on Wizards.
Tamrin and Vare are the only ones that immediately come to mind.
I just /hope/ our Sorcerers are keeping their 'known spells' properly listed.

Otherwise, technically-- there might be zero real difference between the Sorc and Wizard classes in this game.
And even with 'rules light', that'd kinda ..suck. :)

Well, I haven't done so with settro yet, but every time i have him cast a spell, i take note and remember it. I haven't finished deciding yet.
Damiani: I have never acutally chosen spells for Ehos (though he'll be focused on sonic damage when I finally do get around to it).
He can't really cast magic anyway, no Silent Spell feat to speak of. ;D
Dennis: 5$ says that if Tybs gets reincarnated, he comes back as a Firebird.

It's a major class feature-- so, being willy nilly, would stomp on another class's ability and often is brought up in various games as a somewhat defining 'difference' between the two classes.
Not saying, PICK YOUR SPELLS NAO! But ...realize your limitations. :) I've not seen it come up yet where a Sorc goes, >> blast! If only I had known that spell! <<
Limitations add depth to the characters and thus more appreciation of their personalities and the like.

Tyrrin's spells are chosen, since she actually does cast quite often.
Vai's spells are also listed under her old alias... she even has Form of the Dragon 1... which is just silly really, since she can do it at will xD.

While I don't have his spell list yet, I do have a guideline to what spells he does have for example he has very few non damage spells above 5th lvl
But he has wish.... (limited ik) but just saying. .
