I picked up Starfinder book yesterday and it reminded me of you guys. Awesome book, now I just need to wrap up my current campaigns IRL so we can play a Starfinder game.

I am having one of those days. The filters on this site do not allow me to express what kind of day I am having because it is the kind of description best narrated by Samuel L Jackson. And this is a PG-13 site.
*sigh* I know intellectually that it could have been worse, because most of it is almost disasters. I almost fell when I blacked out in the bathroom this morning, but caught myself in time. The house almost caught fire, but a fritzing smoke detector had me standing a few feet away from the space heater when it started to smoke. I almost had a hot griddle flip over onto me, but caught it and instead only have a burned thumb. But it's a lot of almost for one day, so whoever is trying to curse me, could you just cut it out already? Seriously, I get the message, thanks. ;P

Oh, and just to add insult to injury, it's the thumb I use for unlocking my phone. >.<

Alright, time to whip up some anti-curses... where's the med-kit?

And to top it all off, somewhere in there I dislocated a rib. Yesterday was pain. So much pain. Today I went to the chiropractor in the morning, so now my back is sore, but I can breathe without stabby pains, so that's an improvement! Sorry, though, there's no bad-ass spin to put on the rib thing. It just happened while I was doing something normal. I hate rib dislocations so much. They hurt a lot, I can't put them back by myself, and they never happen because of anything exciting. It's always something stupid like I twisted around to check my blind spot while I was trying to change lanes. :P

Oh, and I tested the space heater again later and it started burning internally again as soon as I turned it on. Immediately unplugged it and left it to cool down. My husband wants to replace it with the exact same model.....wisdom is definitely his dump stat. >.<
(Actual conversation:
Him: But it was the warmest space heater!
Me: Yes, on account of it was on fire!
Him: Oh, come on, we had it for years before it caught fire.
Me: We've had the ceramic space heaters for as long as the kidlet has been alive and none of them have ever caught fire. Just this infrared one.
Him: yeah, but the infrared one is the best...
Me: It. Was. On. FIRE!
Him: This is like the halogen lights isn't it?
Me: Uh-huh. Just like the halogen lights. After an appliance catches fire, it doesn't get to stay in the house.
Him: But those lights were the best. And this heater is the best. And I don't understand why we can't get another one just like it.
Me: It was on fire. )

That kinda makes me curious. Do you call him kidlet irl or just here?

I actually do sometimes refer to him as the kidlet irl. It's become habit. :)

Anyhow, I am currently in so much pain that sentences put hard tobgether. Posting may take a while as we are supposed to leave tomorrow for a trip to the waterpark. This is going to be....something. As bad ideas go, I suppose we've had worse....

Ok, so, as I intended to rebuild igni with true professional rouge as half of his getsalt, pathfinder came out with a better version that is quite possibly my favorite archtype ever made- phantom thief. I bring this up, because I want to know if unchained phantom thief would be allowed.

Still alive (barely). Caught the respiratory virus from hell while on vacation. Mostly sleeping and remembering how good breathing feels. :/

The good news: I am better and the evil virus has been vanquished.

The bad news: I have spent the last three days trying to shovel out (in the case of all the garbage piles in the kitchen literally) from under all of the things that didn't get done while I was sick. It's amazing how fast the household goes to hell. Anyhow, I have meant to post for the last couple of days, but honestly I've just been too damn tired by the time I have time. And I don't think today is going to be any different.

So I am aiming for tomorrow. I am pretty sure that I have caught up with the absolute must-do essentials and can set aside a few minutes at least to get things rolling again. Many apologies for the annoying but inevitable delays.

In the ongoing drama that is my health, I am recovering from food poisoning. And since I wasn’t able to take my meds while I was vomiting, my other health issues are acting up too. Sigh. But it’s been several hours since I last threw up and I was able to keep down a little toast, so there’s that. *shakes head* Anyhow, just an update for those of you who don’t follow fawtl. Should be back to normal by Monday. ..... just in time for dental surgery.....>.<

In other news, yes, I am still alive. Survived the food poisoning, although my appetite has yet to return. I am literally eating like a toddler, as in tiny baby portions of only very specific foods. And I survived the dental surgery. Took two whole days for the drugs to totally wear off. Kidlet fell ill night before my dental surgery, so my poor husband had to take care of both of us and no sleep for about 36 hours. That was no fun. And then when I got better I took over. Kidlet is mostly better now but tired from going to school today. Sigh. And then I overdid it today with a major spring cleaning project, so that pain is starting to hit. It’s gonna be a fun few days. :/
So, yeah, that’s the news from chez lynora and I will update the game as soon as I can. Soon barring interruption, which is asking a lot around here...

If you were expecting gold like the beastary entry, well, I saw "calligraphy wyrm" and immediately thought black on white, like ink on paper. I only noticed the gold after the commission, so it was a little late anyway.

I’m pretty scattered right now (the first part of the saga I posted on fawtl, you can find it in my recent posts, the last few days has been all about taking the kidlet to various medical professionals to try and figure out why his recovery is so slow/who I have to kill to get him seen by a neurologist before the school year is over), but I am pretty sure I’m waiting on you guys? #not my fault we’re stalled out this time ;)

I honestly don't know. Give me a couple of days to catch up on sleep. I am literally so tired that I black out from exhaustion from time to time. I'm hanging on with lots of coffee and the occasional power nap. The kidlet is doing better, but I still haven't had a chance to catch up on sleep from the all-nighter I pulled while he was in the hospital and that's not even considering how little sleep I was getting for days before that because he couldn't be left unsupervised while he was having seizures. I'm so sorry guys. I know I've been kinda flaky of late and I feel super guilty about it. But real life has been kicking my butt for a while.

Oh gosh. You've definitely been having it pretty hard lately. Don't worry about us until things are alright with you and yours hon. We'll continue to be praying for y'all.

There's nothing to apologize or feel guilty for, Lyn, and there never will be when stuff this scary happens. Family always comes first.

Take care of you and yours, worry about everything else later, and know that you're all in our thoughts.
