They were removed their first day at school. Sorchan did it himself since he had the authority to do so. He's actually done the same for other servants of the del Sols in the refugee camp, but he hasn't exactly been advertising that fact.

I picked up the entire series of Avatar the Last Airbender on DVD(for just $30) and have been watching it with my mom, who has never seen it before. She rather likes it a lot :)

Kidlet's birthday was a rousing success. Hard to believe he's already thirteen. O.o

Well, I missed out on today's family activity because the previous two days were too much for me...and I was gonna be all productive and post a bunch....but instead I napped. These things happen. :)

Icehawk, I realized that the scene with Adon and Sadie got stalled out due to Doomkitten's departure. We can hand wave the actual combat rolls if you want, or not. Mostly I'm curious how vocal Adon is going to be with his anti-magic sentiment. Cause that could be drama central right there. (Don't like magic? You'll love Sadie and Dara's village! They kill magic users or at least attempt to, and anyone helping them. Dara could tell you all about it....if he ever starts talking again....)

They are running through a simulation where each person is trying to reach the objective first. So they have to fight through various enemies, but not necessarily each other, and whoever reaches the objective first wins. And of course Sadie is making use of her forcefields during the exercise. Technically it's a supernatural ability as opposed to spells, but I wasn't sure if Adon was going to make any ill-advised comments. :)

Yeah, I was trying to free up a character to take over watching Cho so I could get Jeran there since that scene is a bit ahead of where he is in timeline, but I had been neglecting the troublesome trio. I will see what I can do there. :)

It's mostly one way communication. She's not reading his mind cause that would be wrong without permission. But if he sort of concentrates a thought at her she can hear it since there is currently established telepathic contact.
