Just an FYI - I will probably not post until Monday or Tuesday. I am running the first game of a campaign tomorrow after taking a break for the summer, am doing a 42 km back packing trip saturday/sunday, and have to pick two players for a Kingmaker game I am taking over on the boards Monday. I will try to post Monday but I am making my priority getting the characters recruited. After that it should be business as usual.

I'm finally back up and running...sort of. I don't have internet yet, but power is back. We have a lot of water damage, trees down, shingles and siding missing, but we're safe and sound so all good! It's going to take me a bit to caught up, particularly when posting by phone.

I've added the potions of CMW and remove disease to Cerio's inventory. Looking at the loot sheet, there are some useful items unclaimed--a potion of bull's strength, potion of protection from evil, even a +1 cloak of resistance. There are also several talismans. They occupy a neck slot, so only one per player.

He was at -2 after taking the damage. He failed his stabilization check, so that brought him to -3 before you healed him. Thus the 0 hp.
Ramul - agreed, thanks for noting that. I had forgotten about your being FF, but had taken into account the prone penalty.

Sacred Summons seems good. But the wording is wonky on that feat..Many people say that it works well only for Lawful Evil characters, because it only speeds up summons for creatures exactly matching your deitiy's aura (e.g. Lawful Evil, or Lawful Good). Campus is Chaotic Good, and there are no creatures with the Lawful Good subtype. It all seems silly to me.

The kineticist can suppress the visual effects of elemental overflow by concentrating for 1 full round, but doing so suppresses all of this ability’s other benefits, as well. The next time the kineticist uses any wild talent, the visual effects and benefits return instantly.
Infusion: Air Cushion - You cushion a fall from any height. You are constantly under the effects of feather fall, and you count as one size category larger for the purpose of determining how you are affected by wind.

Just wanted to let everyone know that I am going to be very busy over the next month. I am away this weekend starting tomorrow evening for a funeral, the following weekend I take possession of our new house. Then we are spending two weeks to renovate it before moving in.
I am going to try and keep my posting levels up, but I may not have enough time or energy. Hopefully everyone is okay with that.

Levels sound good everyone! Yeah, I don't get that either Campus. Being that it's not ideally worded, I'd be fine with you applying it to non-evil monsters, instead of matching the exact subtype.

Combat map up! You can indeed, you'd just have to go through Ulfric. Right now, you are all standing outside the room, having seen obvious enemies inside. They haven't turned to see you yet - apparently they're enjoying their antics more than they feel they'd enjoy the boom from the south when the wall fell.

Level up and woot, max roll for hp! Not much to report aside from that. Gained trap sense (+1 ref and dodge AC vs traps), a few minor skill ranks.

If the round is a surprise round, I am not sure why Ramul, Cerio, and Campus all get a move action to move past Ulfric and a standard action to do stuff with but Ulfric is being limited to a move or standard action.
Also, if combat is going to begin with a surprise round it would be nice to know because the strategy would be all different. I would've simply five foot stepped into the door and yelled at the ghouls while readying an action, letting Campus and other ready actions from the safety of the other side of the door. Now Campus and I are exposed to charges because of the weird action economy you allowed with the move and standard from everyone else while I need to expend my move to cover our two ranged combatants. Or I could move forward and get mauled next turn for no benefit.
Sorry if this seems a bit ranty, I'm just confused at the action limitations on my character vs the other characters as well as the 'surprise' surprise round when all of our actions clearly seemed to want to charge right in with a full set of actions forgoing the unannounced surprise round.

In short, you are correct, and I made a Charlie Foxtrot out of this one. I will figure it out by Monday. My thought process was that the round would have started after Campus's move, and Ramul and Cerio we're taking standard actions only, but there's a multitude of issues with that. Bear with me please, I will make it right.

No worries. At this point I would just continue as is for speeds sake if that's easiest. I may have ranted a bit more than intended as well. We just took possession of our new house and its both stressful and tiring at the moment.
Definitely understand that! I'm thinking we could allow full actions, but then give the ghouls actions as well, making it a true round. Initiative is an issue since we didn't roll it yet, but I'm fine with having them at the bottom of the order. There will only be one left anyway
