Gotcha; sorry for the wait guys; closing the round out today

Well....that'll do it Klassalka

Woman Merfolk Barbarian 3 | HP 22/40| AC18/20 FF15 T13 | F+7 R+5 W+3/5/7* | Init +3 Perc +5

I think I might hit hard.

Well, lose out on the specul-smash, but save a round of rage at least.

Well...guess we see how much damage a bound crazy woman can do.

I suppose an unarmed attack against Campus produces an aoo

Yup, she'll be going with a bull rush, so it'll be an AOO from everyone who had a readied attack. I probably won't be able to work it out till tomorrow

Actually, in light of that roll, I don't need to resolve. Her combat manuever will bring the Aoo and she'd get knocked out anyway

Just to reiterate where we are - there are 3 seemingly viable ways out of the basement, though none have yet been tried - a chute behind the pile of bodies, the stairs, or the furnace pipes.

oh! I misunderstood them all to be impossible.

Sorry for the lack of description...you're not sure if any/all of them are usable, without further examination

Aw, c'mon! No one wants to climb the creepy pile of dead bodies?!

Dang...no no one else may want to do it;)

I have decided Klassalka has a lot of respect for the dead.

Campus, are you headed up the ducts or the corpses?

Sorry for any confusion Artemis; you and Klassalka tried the stairs, to no avail:

Artemis and Klassalka both try the stairs, to no avail. The rubble above is far too heavy to lift, or even shift. In fact, to do so may invite a cave-in of particularly dangerous proportions.

1 person marked this as a favorite.

I will be unavailable from June 3 to 11 due to racing in a mini baja competition. I will try to check in from time to time but don't expect much from me

DM feel free to bot my actions in combats as needed during that time, and I will support Campus' actions and follow his lead during my absence if decision making is required.

Good luck Ulfric!

Sorry guys; busy weekend with the family; hope everyone enjoyed it.

I've gotta mention it since Campus is making a hard line between god given spells and 'magics'. I am not sure how to react to it since from my point of view, and from everyone else I've played with, its well known that divine spells/healing/powers are still magic.

Is this just an affectation of Campus, considering the gifts from Cayden as something other than magics or am I missing something about the world that I should know about? Because I am very confused at the dismissal of the Captain right now on the grounds of identifying Campus' healing as magic.

I am not especially familiar with pathfinder-world/planes lore. I'd imagine that many followers would like to think they worship something more grand than a mage in the sky. :-)

Campus's real difficulty with the man is his abrasive, hard headedness, without ever actually saying what those 'copies' are and why they deserve death.

From the captain's perspective, he has no idea what type of magic or power you plan to use on him. He's obviously paranoid, and if he thinks you're really some sort of create, then he wouldn't wonder what type of magic/divinity/power you're to use on him.

I think the layman would still consider it to be magic, but could easily see the side of a priest or paladin wanting to make the distinction. Perhaps they distrust arcane magic and don't wish to be "in that category." Could go either way for me from an RP perspective, but the mundane soldier type would probably see both as "magic."

I began play with no spells. If Campus keeps running around here and there, she will be of limited use.

Klassalka views divine and arcane magic of not that much different. Akin to the difference between one of those city-duelists and a barbarian warrior. Some more respect for one, but whatever, some gets stabbed or magic'd, respectively.

Since Ulfric said he'd probably be out from today through the 11th, I'll post an update sometime tomorrow if we don't hear from him by then. GM Nayr, let me know if you want me to RP Ulfric's side or if there's anything else we need to know while in the basement.

Am I missing something? I dont think York wanted the woman's head, but from the 'copies' to the north of us.

That's my thought too.

but it is kind of funny, in a horrific kind of way.

I hope GM allows Campus to have had enough time to get her couple of spells ready.

I like it; Ramul is improvising:) No, he did not ask for the woman's head, but depending upon the captain's intentions, another head perhaps couldn't hurt.

I'm good with that; between time below and here, you can replenish your spells.

Haha, just thought she was one of the one's the captain was talking about, since she was wearing surgeon clothes, if I remember correctly. She was mad though... and Ulfric went along with it, so I feel pretty safe with a paladin on Ramul's side. : )

Hehe...good point, and based upon what you've seen from her abilities and the structure of her body, you're pretty well convinced she's not entirely human...or, wasn't...anyway.

Guys - I'll be on the road from this afternoon through Wednesday evening. I'll be checking in, but posting will be on my phone, so a bit limited.

To confirm regarding the map, you're at the 2 doors to the right just by the B2 label

Retreating behind the merfolk is always allowed.

Thanks GM Nayr.
The whole strategy with Campus's longspear and her feats is she wants to attack at 10' but stay at 15' so that if an enemy wants to get at her and move into 5', she will get an aoo.

Ah, gotcha - like long-arm Leeoli:)

Back and ready to go!

Human Wizard 1 (Elder Mythos Scholar) HP 8/8, AC12 Touch 12 FF 10, Init: +6, Perception +6,

Welcome back!

Welcome back Ulfric; hope it went well!

Not much happened - just some extermination efforts

Was that move by Campus intended for the centipede fight?

Nah, Campus is beating up Granny;)

He may be having some issues with the site updating; he's out camping and probably posting on his phone:) I'm thinking that you're right Davia, and will proceed as such. Campus, lemme know if you want to skewer the old lady.

Campus does seem pretty savage for a cleric, so I wouldn't put it past him. ; )

Cleric of Cayden Ferocity & Exploration Lvl 4 | HP 24/30 | AC16 FF14 T12 | F+6 R+4 W+6* | Init +8 Perc +5 | Mv: 40'

camping indeed. only have data when on top of this hill i climbed. thanks for working out the kinks nayr

Klassalka was trying to be closest to make herself a target

Happy Fathers day guys. Sorry, had to run out of town for family stuff. Back now and will be updating today.

Artemis, you around? I'm loathe to post for you, considering the first round of combat.

He doesn't seem to have posted on any of his aliases for the last few days. He might be out of town.

Thanks Zektolna; anyone want to post for Artemis, or want me to do so?

I'm guessing it would be best for you to do so, but I would like to put in a vote for him to cast daze. : )

Works for me, I generally dislike posting for players as I think it ruins the flow/feel...but better than losing time.
