This is tough b/c surprise round is limited to a move or a standard. We're not positioned to outright attack, so we're looking at moving in, which will put us in perfect positioning for them to five foot step and full attack! We could turtle, drawing them to us. Other thoughts?

I prefer turtling in this instance.

I suggest that I and T'eron step out while making ranged attacks with sling and bow as bait, leaving Campus hidden with both a readied attack and her AoO for when people come charging in. Essentially, everyone 5 foot step forward and make the appropriate action.

Cerio you ready an action to cast a spell as you see fit.

I could use the surprise round to cast a scroll of protrction from evil on T'eron, though i couldn't retrieve and cast it RAW, unless GM allows me to say I had it ready?

This may be a bit of a noob question, but on the map, what does a the yellow color of the one cultist indicate? Something to do with health?

Also, if I say:

is that typically understood to be something other than left from the vantage point of my character? I was aiming at the cultist and wound up shooting the old woman (things worked out, so no problem).

Also, if I did shoot the cultist instead of the woman, would this have changed at all?:

That's a misunderstanding on my part; I was considering that the left part of the map with up being north. I'll consider that more when interpreting in the future, and yes, that would've changed your modifier

Just thinking about the theatrics of Campus's strikes - I liken them to you putting a hand on T'eron's shoulder or something like that, and jabbing your spear out just over your hand, into the cultist. That sound about right?

I've always been pretty loosey-goosey with LOS rules, and am fine with this, just wanted to make sure I was seeing it right.

Her spear is a long spear, so yeah striking from the back. I'm not sure if cover rules apply and all that, or when they apply.

Yeah, I typically grant them an AC bonus for cover, and I don't think you'd get an AOO from there, but you've been hitting anyway, so all good!

Quick question before I attack - if my bow was dropped previously and I pick it up, is that considered a move action even with Quick Draw (since it's not technically drawing the weapon)? Or is close enough to drawing to be a free action? Going to use Studied Target as my move action if I can

The only question was the one Cerio raised. The bag lady might know something, were she compelled to talk.
