Venture-Captain, Nomad Section

"I will stay on the ship and keep the thrusters primed for immediate launch. Good luck, Nomads."

Male Human Val'nor Male human spacefarer operative 2, Starfinder Forerunner, CG Init +7; Senses Perception +5; EAC 13; KAC 14 SP 14 HP 15 RP 3 Fort +1, Ref +5, Will +3

Val'nor takes a second to take a deep breath, gathers his gear, and then gets ready to open the hatch. He confirms that we all have the location and description of the folks Talmrin mentioned...

Location - "Cell Block J"

"A Vesk named Mothkala, a Shirren named Tseekchik, and a Slivara. They were past-diggers, archaeologists."

Lets try those Holoskins. I think We bought 2, one for Goro, one for Laser. I'm not sure if Humans look enough like an Azlant for me to pass, but we can try. Also not sure if there is anything we can do for Blax-9. But I think if the creatures at the station are any indication we could be ok.

He says finally. You guys ready?

"No, not ready! You make stupid disguise! Need better one. Bugbacca looks like bad holovid scary show. Fix it nows or we stays on ship and you gets killed!"

Pretty sure we can burn another charge and try again

In space, no one can hear you scream

GM is supposed to roll the Disguise checks in secret. So I'll do that, but some hints: Using the thing to make Goro look like a human hikes the DC up by +20. Ditto for Laser. Androids are pretty similar to human, so making Blax-9 look Azlanti would be pretty easy.

Male Human Val'nor Male human spacefarer operative 2, Starfinder Forerunner, CG Init +7; Senses Perception +5; EAC 13; KAC 14 SP 14 HP 15 RP 3 Fort +1, Ref +5, Will +3

ok, then lets try the slave option. Blax and Val'nor will attempt to use the holoskins to become Azlant, and we'll walk to the guy and have Goro and Laser unload the cargo.

Val'nor has a +3 to disguise

In space, no one can hear you scream

Val'nor arranges the holoskins, giving himself and Blax-9 the distinctive Azlanti features: high cheekbones, straight black hair with widow’s peaks, bronze skin, and violet eyes. When everyone is in position, you open the cargo hatch and walk down to the deck.

The guard walks up, giving Val'nor and Blax-9 a smile. "I am Iovinus, welcome to Gulta. We're glad you got here as fast as you did. I figured it'd be at least another week, what with all the bureaucratic hurdles..." When he spots Goro and Laser, the smile disappears. "Not a proper crew?"

Val'nor smiles at Iovinus and says "You will find no other servants as Capable as Gorobacca! Why I once saw him lift a fully loaded pallet of mark 3 power cells straight over his head and set it down gently into our cargo bay. You want fast results you find the best people for the job. Laser here started as a brilliant mechanical engineer, and once the Neural implants were added, he has become the most loyal and obedient servant I've ever owned. Well met, my name is Valnious, and this is my business partner Blaxone"

Bluff: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (9) + 10 = 19

"Allow me a moment to have this cargo unloaded. In our haste to get here, we have over-stressed our power core. If its possible, and you allow it. We would like to repair the damage. It will only take us a short while to recalibrate our Core output. If you need us to move our ship to a different Pad, we can. The maintenance isn't too drastic, it just isn't a fast one. If you will allow it, may I buy you a beverage, to convey my thanks?

Blax-9 nods gruffly as Val'nor speaks and glares impatiently at the guards. "Yeah, we ain't proper, but we are efficient. You gonna let us do our job or do we need to call in management?"

Lasereater will busy himself helping Gorobacca unload supplies.

Sense Motive: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (15) + 5 = 20

Iovinus looks skeptical, but then Blax-9 rolls in with the attitude and it throws him off. He is taken aback and raises a hand. "Fine. Do your work and get going," he responds curtly. "Load the goods into those empty crates and I will inventory when you're done." Iovinus walks away and stands by the hatch, hands clasped behind his back.

What now?

Male Human Val'nor Male human spacefarer operative 2, Starfinder Forerunner, CG Init +7; Senses Perception +5; EAC 13; KAC 14 SP 14 HP 15 RP 3 Fort +1, Ref +5, Will +3

As Lovinus moves out of ear shot, Val'nor will make a show of telling the Goro and Laser to start unloading.

He whispers to the crew, as they work. "I'm not sure how to get past this guy with out alerting the whole base."

Male Trox 4th Level Solarian

I will drop one of the crates near our ship so Val can yell and scream at me, then he should call the guard over to inspect and we can knock him out

Male Human Val'nor Male human spacefarer operative 2, Starfinder Forerunner, CG Init +7; Senses Perception +5; EAC 13; KAC 14 SP 14 HP 15 RP 3 Fort +1, Ref +5, Will +3

Val'nor nods at Goro, and begins yelling at him. He'll try to make it convincing as possible.
Bluff: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (7) + 10 = 17

He then calls out to Lovinus to please come and verify that the goods are still in good order.

Val'nor looks around to see if he spots any cameras or other guards
Perception: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (7) + 9 = 16

In space, no one can hear you scream

Val'nor notices security cameras in each of the room's four corners.

Do you want to proceed with the trick or do something else first?

Male Trox 4th Level Solarian

Can we be in a blind spot on the ramp/in the ship?

In space, no one can hear you scream

Not really... If you disable (engineering) or hack (computers) at least one of the cameras, you can use that corner as a blind spot.

Male Trox 4th Level Solarian

That's going to have to be Val

Male Human Val'nor Male human spacefarer operative 2, Starfinder Forerunner, CG Init +7; Senses Perception +5; EAC 13; KAC 14 SP 14 HP 15 RP 3 Fort +1, Ref +5, Will +3

Ok, we'll have to retcon our previous order of events. But before Val'nor attempts to call Lovinus over, he will attempt to remote hack into their security system to turn off the landing bay cameras.

Computer: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (19) + 15 = 34

In space, no one can hear you scream

You have a short pow-wow in the cargo hold then break to execute the plan. Goro and Lasereater get to work moving things while Blax-9 looks on menacingly. Val'nor uses his datapad as if monitoring the delivery while surreptitiously accessing the cameras through a wireless signal. He's not able to connect to the cameras directly (appears limited to a wired signal, only accessible through direct interaction) but he finds a wireless control for the local power distribution and cuts the cameras off.

The lights flicker once, then twice, causing Iovinus to glance up. Goro fumbles the large crate he's hauling, dropping it at the bottom of the loading ramp with a loud crash. Val'nor starts berating Goro and Laser, making a decent show of it.

Iovinus Sense Motive: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (2) + 5 = 7

"What's the problem here?" Iovinus asks, clearly annoyed. He walks over...

Actions?

Male Trox 4th Level Solarian

So what are the rules for trying to knock someone out?

Male Human Val'nor Male human spacefarer operative 2, Starfinder Forerunner, CG Init +7; Senses Perception +5; EAC 13; KAC 14 SP 14 HP 15 RP 3 Fort +1, Ref +5, Will +3

Val'nor stops yelling at Goro, and turns to Lovinus and says "Lovinus! Here I was just praising my crew, and they go and do THE ONE THING I'VE ASKED THEM NOT TO DO!! - This report needs to be perfect for the NT2L, you know how paper pushers are. They don't understand how the real world works, Would you inspect the damage this "OAF" just caused?" Val'nor will attempt to act casual, but will be ready to grab his taclash if necessary!

Male Android Soldier 4; SP 32/32; EAC/KAC 0/15; HP 29/36; rp 5/5; Perception +4; Init +8; Ref +5, Fort+5, Will+4 Azimuth Rifle +9 (0 charges used)

Blax-9 growls at Lovinus. "I suggest you come over here and help us out. We don't got all day."

Intimidate: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (20) + 4 = 24

In space, no one can hear you scream

Iovinus scowls but complies, walking into the ambush.

And...?

So, its how dark right now?

Val'nor will attempt a Bluff check to trigger a trick attack:

Bluff: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (12) + 10 = 22

tohit_taclash: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (9) + 4 = 13 vs. flat-footed

Blax-9 shrugs and blasts the guard. "I guess it's on."

Couldn't we have bribed this guy? A fight now seems unwise but whatever. Lasereater will keep up his ruse.

Well, honestly, I didn't think of that...Oh well, I don't intend to kill him. my attacks at least are non-lethal.
