You guys are building an alligator trap? Cool! This is so exciting! No PC's ever build traps!
OK, I will need the person with the best Craft(traps) skill to make a check. The rest can Aid Another if they choose. If they are directly participating in the trap building (magical disturbance, adding a rag, rigging the noose/broom thingie), a check is mandatory.
And because it makes sense to me, Bertom gets a +2 to his check as a synergy bonus for Disable Device. I will also give bonuses for having appropriate tools and for having a good idea or good description to contribute. Note that you do not have to design or describe the thing completely - we'll let the rolls do that.
Also, once the trap is deployed, I will need to know who all is holding the rope...

Ensis is attempting Diplomacy right now, which takes a minute for a standard check. They are going to chat for a minute to establish goodwill.
If anybody wants to do anything besides Diplomacy, you have a few posts to pop in and wreck up the place. Otherwise, you can join in the conversation and Aid Another on the Diplomacy.

OK, it's that time, folks! Time to start our Rebellion Sheet!
I put a link to the sheet in the campaign tab, right up front, so it will be easy to find.
You have a couple of things to do before we can get rolling on the Silver Raven's rebellion activities.
1. Determine FOCUS (p. 21 of Player's Guide).
2. Determine OFFICERS (p. 23 of Player's Guide).
We still need to wrap up this scene and treasure, etc, but I wanted to remind you that we'll be doing this tracker thingie and that you have things to decide as a group. You can do them IC or OC - IC would be really cool!. So refresh yourselves on the Player's Guide and start thinking about your character's ideals and strategies.

Obviously they are only my interpretations of the Rebellion Roles, as seen through a Dee-filter.
Just as an FYI,
Demagogue = Con or Cha to Loyalty
Partisan = Str or Wis to Security
Recruiter = Characters Level to # of recruits
Sentinel = Aid to Organisation Checks, & 1 of [Con/Cha to Loyalty, Str/Wis to Security, Dex/Int to Secrecy]
Spy-master = Dex or Int to Secrecy Check
Strategist = +2 to a Organisation Check

Ensis might work as a Sentinel -- +3 Dex (and cha by level 4) -- only +2 str, but pretty well-rounded.

(I know, it may just be a reprint from previously, but I didn't remember that one, so,...) ;)
Going by that list, Ben is a natural for Sentinel (Secrecy) as he has both Dex & Int going for him.
And same for Spy-master.
Yeah, we gonna be using a LOT of teamwork to make this system work I think! ;P

Updating pbps is on my schedule for Thursday, 21 september. I will post at least something in all active pbps, and schedule an hour 4x/week to do pbps after that (sat/sun/tue/thu).

OK, things are stabilizing, and I generally have a little time available on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday.
It seems best to me to focus on keeping one of my games running, so I think I will put Flintlocks on hiatus and focus on this game. It's pre-written, so I don't have to dither around figuring out what to do.
I'll put a post up next week, when I get home from house-sitting and have my materials.

.. I get the feeling that I've been missing Flintlocks? Now I need to rush off and see if I was unsubscribed from the thread somehow... Though I guess if it's going on hiatus, I have lots of time to catch up to what I've missed.

Awake, online, fed, got my materials, and am catching up with the excellent RP you guys have been doing. Bear with me.
Player To-Do List:
- Looks like Ben, Bert, Dee, and Val need to level up, or at least update their character header. Dee has a nice one if you need a model. Having that info in the game thread makes setting up rolls much faster for me. Gracias.
- Ben, can you put your native (no mutagens) stats in your stat block and leave them there - put your modified stats in a separate area? Thanks!
- We're leveling up and resting at this point, so feel free to refresh spells, potions, etc., in preparation for the next session.
- I normally wouldn't do this, but since it's been so long: Val's detect magic also saw an aura at the base of the statue, separate from the one moving around with the crocagator.
- Chough's body has: 3 copper bracelets and a silver locket with an Elven rune on it.
- The satchel contains: a merchant captain's logbook, a ledger, 72 gp, and a holy symbol of Abadar carved in a soft mineral.
- The room contains: a Harrow deck the tengu were using to play cards, 2 crates of fine clothing, still intact. There are some scraps of bedding and furniture that can probably be pieced together into a decent bunkroom once cleaned up after Chough's tantrums.

? Sorry, I thought I had the regular stats already in there, and I made a separate list of how the mutagen affected those, (listed the totals that were changed) But it's been a bit since I looked at those too,...
