your definition of 'funny story' is... unique, ma'am. Glad your friend is OK!
Are whatever current buffs we still had running active, or should we recast everything?
I'm gonna say they're still active, but you do have to re-expend the slots. And yes, Carina's refreshed as well.

Are those spells okay KC?
Just want to say, the description here is really making me feel "Dungeon magazine cover ca 2005 that I didn't understand but made me hyped".

Yeah in this situation it seems somewhat broken. If we didn't "know" we'd be facing undead today it would be more balanced . . . but that's the whole issue with prepared casters.
At least it gives the option of a save for high-level undead, which antilife shell doesn't.
I'll go with those spells if we don't get a response from Feral and DC before finalizing 5th+ level spells - just wondering if I can save some slots from death ward.

I'll prep a couple of Death Wards and Communal Stoneskin, along with Greater False Life and my mutagen.

Looks good! Then here is Astraden's prep list:

- 8th-level (2) - holy aura, spellscar
Carina has death ward as an extract, that could save one or two slots for you. We do need total coverage, those negative laser blasts were killer. It does look like you have seven slots prepared, though. Does Clunk need it? Wouldn't his inevitable resistances keep him covered?
I read it as Clunk needing it - inevitables aren't immune to negative energy unless it's a death effect or requires a Fortitude save.

This whole conversation spans 5 rounds, for short-duration buffing purposes. Here's a quick map while Farrukh and I get the actual map set up.
Note the scales. The far-right edge is 660 feet long, and the widest part of the ledge is over 500 feet, for an idea of scales. You're 80 feet up. It's a big area.

A preview... of what's to come (slow-loading maps)...
I think the link in my profile should direct to the actual map. I'm a little swamped this month (truly trying to get taxes done early for once), but working towards getting the combat started!

Alright, I should be able to get up a post Sunday or Monday and get this combat rolling. Aside from the political burnout, I had a very small project to finish up before a deadline.
| Cuetzpalli |
Definitely, posting now. Was just skimming posts since I wasn't up yet and missed it, my bad.

No worries! It'd be ridiculous to get on your case for not noticing and replying to a small detail immediately when we're going at such a slow pace.
For what it's worth, all, I am feeling more able to maintain a steady pace lately, and we'll see if that lasts. I've made my peace with the glacial pace, but it's nice to occasionally strike a better rhythm. Appreciate everyone's patience as always.

Back to my home PC and can post and open roll20 finally!
By the way everyone, don't forget the effects of holy aura!
First, each warded creature gains a +4 deflection bonus to AC and a +4 resistance bonus on saves. Unlike protection from evil, this benefit applies against all attacks, not just against attacks by evil creatures.
Second, each warded creature gains spell resistance 25 against evil spells and spells cast by evil creatures.
Third, the abjuration protects the recipient from possession and mental influence, just as protection from evil does.

No worries. I have the same problem, coupled with retail.
