Question about enervating hand necrograft from the armory

I was reading this and the damage numbers listed seem very high. The mk1 version if I am doing this right is available at level 1 for like 200 credits and does 4d4 cold damage.

That seems really high damage wise for a level 1 weapon.

It is possible I am misunderstanding how levels vs MK versions are working but it just struck me as odd.


It's basically a once per encounter jolting touch, which makes it very powerful for 200 credits IMO.


You missed something in the description. If you hit, you can only attack once per stamina rest or spend a resolve point to recharge it. The hand also has no effect on undead or creatures immune to negative energy. To me it sits somewhere between a level 1 weapon and a first level spell.


AH that is what I was missing I figured it had to be something. Still if you are willing to deal with necrografts that is a pretty damn nice tool for the price at low levels.
