Since I am tired of watching this sit on the shelf collecting dust, I've decided to give it a go in pbp.
Looking for 4-5 players who wish to become castaways and later treasure seekers looking for a lost city in the wilds of Sargava.
Character Gene:
Abilities: 20 Point Buy
Starting Level: 1st (0 xp - fast progression)
Alignment Restrictions: None
Class/Archetypes/Prestige Class Restrictions: none - anything not in a core book will need links and approval
Race Restrictions: CORE only
Skills and Feats: skills follow normal rules, everyone will get one bonus non-combat related feat, i.e. something not used during combat, in addition to their normal feats
Traits: two traits + 1 campaign trait from player's guide
Hit Points: Max every odd lvl, roll every even lvl
Starting Gold: 150gp - most gear lost at sea sorry
Sources - Mostly all I use the d20pfsrd a lot.
Ok going to open this to questions so I can refresh my memory of this AP.

this character was for a rise of the runelords game but finally after the 5th time she saved Sandpoint and never going any further thought I will give here a try here. (she started 5 different games and all have died for one reason or another)
mostly good to go except the background will need some tweeking and changeing some traits.

I am definitely interested.
Now about the character: I was thinking of a ranger who cares only for his self-interests (seemingly). The guy who makes alliances only if they benefit him, for him it's all about the treasure, &c. I think this would leave me with interesting character developments later on; he would start off as one-dimensional but through the course of the adventure may or may not reveal that there's more to him.
He would join the ship for obvious reasons.

Here's my character submission: <Fish Bol>
Haven't put in the additional non-combat feat yet.

Krokod Firetongue |

Ridge here. Krokod Firetongue, escaped Mwangi slave, and stowaway trying to return home. He's also a Fire Mystery Oracle with a problem of babbling in the language of flames whenever the heat is on ;)
I took Stealthy as a Feat to explain his successful (so far) escape.
Mechanics and backstory in the alias.

Just want to be clear by what you mean by "core" if it's on the prd it's fine?
Considering that "core races" is defined in the Advanced Race Guide as dwarf, elf, gnome, half-elf, half-orc, halfling, human, I'd imagine that it should be one of those seven races. Alternate racial traits are probably fine, but once again, it's up to the DM.

Correct, and the Advanced Players Guide lists only the original classes as "core" so I wanted to get some clarification.

DM-Jungle,
I see that you only have 5 posts on the Paizo forums. Can you tell me a little bit about your experience in running pbp campaigns? It's not that I am trying to be critical, because I am not. Its just that don't know anything about your DM style and there arnt any other campaigns linked to you for me go off of.

DM-JungleLord |

quite alright - I can't show you my play style as I have nothing available at the moment. I can tell you I play loose when it comes to allowing for the story to flow and tight (Almost Rules Lawyerish) when it comes to combat.
I like character growth over trophy hunting (going to find next monster) and will work with those feats, skill sets, and other abilities to help play your character. Meaning if you want to craft wands, armor, etc. then I will allow for it to happen during down time and let you retcon it in with little trouble. I will also help make sure to set up most encounters (RP/combat) to help show the strengths of the character - while now and then jabbing at one of their weaknesses here and there.

Grey, the Lady's dog |

This is Irnk's character idea.
A runaway Halfing slave from Cheliax. Grey's encounter with the 'Goodskin' (not completely taken with the name, suggestions welcome) precipitated his flight. He snuck himself onboard the Jenivere in Pezzack & has been keeping a low profile ever since. Consequently, he has yet to manifest his 'friend' since boarding.
I have adapted him to Serpent's Skull, although I have yet to acquire gear or select a non-combat Feat, I kind of like Childlike just from an RP perspective. Pretending to be a runaway child so that it is that much harder for any slave-hunters to find a trail sort of thing...

Excellent, and thank you for the quick response!
I'm kicking around several ideas right now. I like to come up with a few and then let them simmer for a bit before I go in-depth. Some of the ideas I am considering include:
Ravin Duboe A minor noble from the fabled Grand Duchy of Alkenstar, Ravin is driven man with a passion for Big Game Hunting, and is currently aboard the Jenivere, after returining from a hunt in the Mwangi Expanse. Mechanically Ravin would be a Human, Ranger (Archetype: Trophy Hunter). Ravin would act as the groups ranged damage dealer and tracker. Thematically he would be similar to Val Kilmer in Ghost in the Darkness.
Arsen de Capra A graduate from the University of Egorian in Cheliax, Arsen has been hired to act as a field agent on the behalf of the University. Arsen is currently aboard the Jenivere enroute to the Mwangi Expanse. He is a expert in pre-starfall religions and history. Mechanically Arsen would be a human Bard (Archetype: Archaeologist). Arsen would hold several roles. He is not intended to act as a "face" character. He would be built to be a trap-spotter/disabler, knowledge expert and battlefield controller, using his whip to trip opponents and spells like grease to keep them where he wants them. Thematically he would have a Indiana Jones feel (And yes, he would use a whip).
Thanks for your consideration Jungle-Lord. I would welcome any feedback you have.

Of those two Ravin would do better in the wilds as that is what most of this AP is all about - survivability. Not only with the first AP and being shipwrecked but the second has you racing through the jungle while the third has you in living in an ancient city a few months.
So everyone may want to look into how their character would help in those situations as well as combat.

I hope you're still looking for applications; I'm very interested!
I'll fill out a brief application and summary, and if you would like more information, just let me know.
Mobius Jegarre, Half-Orc Illusionist
Mobius was born to a disgraced Chelaxian noblewoman, Iolanva, near the shores of Desperation Bay. In her madness, she declared Mobius a demonic gift, and began plotting a dark future for her infant son that would bring her back to power.
From the start, however, Mobius was not what she wanted. Mobius grew tall and mighty from his Orcish heritage, but spent most of his time poring through dusty tomes and religious texts rather than training in martial combat. His compassionate nature was clear, but after several floggings he learned to repress it in order to please his mother.
Iolanva eventually conceded to Mobius' cerebral nature, and hired various tutors to instruct him in the ways of magic. His teachers were surprised that a Half-Orc could muster the patience and willpower to bend reality to his will, and that he could have as great a love for learning as he did. Mobius quickly developed a passion for magic, and longed to enter the grand halls of the Arcanamirium in Absalom.
His chance came, albeit in a bittersweet way. His mother fell ill, and her condition worsened at a worrying rate. On her last day, she tried to make Mobius swear to her that he would fulfill her ambitions. He could not lie to her; he longed to study and cared little for political power or material wealth. She died cursing his name in wrath, and Mobius' left for Absalom that night, heartbroken.
His studies have been incredibly productive, and his history of keeping things hidden influenced him towards the school of Illusion. Eventually, he was given the opportunity to study abroad, which he gladly accepted. Little did his teachers know that he chose to travel to Garund for more than mere study...
