Just a heads up for everyone. We are moving out of our home this week, then staying with friends for over a week while we wait for the closing on our new home, then moving into that. If my posting becomes spotty in the next few weeks, I hope you'll understand why :).

Hi All - starting on Thursday the family and I will be overseas on vacation for the next couple of weeks. I am taking a laptop with the materials to be able to post, though it will be spotty at times due to time and availability of internet. I'll keep checking the posts often as best as I can.
Enjoy your trip! I'm looking forward to a vacation from packing. I spent this evening hauling boxes of holiday decorations out of our attic. Posting to resume sometime this weekend!

Wicked I feel you on that. I have finally moved into the apartment with my brother and his family. I look forward to your post, which I will most likely respond to on Monday sense Saturday is more unpacking and mad scrambling to prep for my live game on Sunday :D
Our closing has been pushed back to next week, just prolonging the suffering.
On the bright side, I also just accepted a new job. It will take more of my time, though it's unclear if or how my posting will be impacted. I'll keep us updated.

I must apologize for my absence from the boards, especially our game. Following the move, I've just been so busy with new job, unpacking, and starting renovations on the home (that we're still living in) I haven't had any brain cells left to think about PbP. We've also had a terrible time getting internet access out here in the country. I kept hoping that things would slow down, that I'd get an opportunity to turn more attention back to gaming, but that just hasn't happened.
I think the best thing for me to do at this point is to cancel the game. I've already left all my others, and placed the other game I GM into stasis, but I was putting off quitting this one, and now I've gone and committed the PbP faux pas and disappeared.
Please accept my apology for such a long silence and sudden departure. I really have enjoyed our game and the story you've been telling. I hope we have a chance to play together again in the future.

Just a note that the promise of Dragon's Demand has me checking this thread a bunch of times a day. I'm excited to get started with character creation! Anybody already had any ideas? I'm thinking of a world weary mercenary type who specializes in pole arms...
I have more character ideas in the back of my head than I'll ever get around to playing, so I'm good with being flexible depending on what everyone else wants to play. :) I'm playing a witch in my IRL campaign and a silksworn occultist in another PbP right now, so I probably won't go squishy full-caster, but that's about as far as I've gotten.
Yeah, I've played too many casters in a row here on PbP, so it's time I swung something heavy and sharp :)
I tend to lean towards filling a role that no one wants, I have learned that about myself. I want to play all the classes!
if I had to pick something... Hmm... I would love to try out a monk since that is one I have never tried. Though a rouge could be lots of fun. As could a wizard. Anything but an Oracle. I am currently playing three of those. And I do not wanna be the healer. I am doing that in a lot of my games... A lot of them
