I haven't found any reference to the 7 PC rule being rescinded so the 7th player is in if they still want it.

What do you think, anyone else going to find any reference? I wasn't sure if you were waiting on that information, or just for me to check in...

A "5-ft.-radius burst" is just a single square, right??? I'm trying to figure out whether positive pulse is worth taking.

Ting Tang
Nice Gnome! I think this is your third character to play with ting...

![]() |

Therin, I'm thinking we should try to get you teamed up with her sometime....

They played together for a short period of time :)
Edit: Crud, I just reread my post in game and realized If failed to copy and past my OOC saying ting 'took 10' on perception noticing the amulet...

You sure? I don't see him...I'm talking about the character, not the player.

This is proof I need to make sure I've got at least two cups of coffee in me before I post. I'd read that Ting needed to play with her, not Therin... so no, you're totally right....
Now we just need a GM to make it happen :)

Have a look at these templates. ;-)

"Center on intersection" - oh, I see (I think); so it could hit up to 4 spaces?
I'll REALLY have to remember that for my snapdragon firework-loving Sorcerer (who's made it all the way to 9th-level without me ever realizing that :P)!

![]() |

why? i had played with her with a pregen before..
Well now, that's hardly the same, is it?

Yes, a 5-ft.-radius burst hits four 5-ft.-squares.

Unfortunately not. The target of Snapdragon Fireworks is a 5-foot square and not a 5-ft.-radius burst...

Whoopsie-daisy! At least that mean's he hasn't been shortchanging himself...and positive pulse is actually worth something for its level.

As soon as it is clear that Ting will make the attempt to 'trimutalate' the location on a map,
Yeah, sorry, triangulate was just too normal for ting to say....

![]() |

Don't apologize, I think it's funny! ^_^

BTW, one or more cybercookies to whomever can recognize the references in that last line of mine....

Purchases:
- Adamantine Sansetsukon (3008 GP)
- Wand of Lucky Number (2 PP)

![]() |

@Kane Hue, The Shining Knight and Alexis "The Odd" Trismegistis: Baldrum offered to use a charge of his Wand of Lucky Number on you (see gameplay). If you want it, just roll a D20 like the others.
@all: I found it helpful to put my Lucky Number in my header to be able to look it up quickly. It also helps me to remember that I have it.

![]() |

I'm confused about how Lucky Number actually works, but I'll roll my number.
You roll a d20 and record your lucky number (e.g. let's say you got a 3). Sometimes later you roll a 3 again (regardless of what type of dice you roll). Now you can (but don't have to) use the spell once to either reroll or add a +2 luck bonus to the result.
If you have a high lucky number, it's usually better to add the luck bonus.
If you have a low lucky number, a possible reroll for that result is nice to have, even if it is quite random.

![]() |

Particularly nice to reroll a 1 if that is your lucky number.

![]() |

So if 20 was your lucky number, I guess you wouldn't be rerolling that.

![]() |

The only advantage when a 20 is rolled is to add it to a skill roll that is normally out of your reach. 20 is not a lucky number.

The Shining Knight |

Ok, let's see what happens!
Lucky Number: 1d20 ⇒ 6

![]() |

I would if I could find you on the map.
Also, 'PITA bread' sounds...multifariously horrible.
I did not see him on the map, Therin did you copy your image and move it over?

![]() |

What does Syllyn see down corridor 6?

![]() |

A 'T' intersection with a north/south corridor

Gotta love this group. A bunch of head-strong fighter types and a troublemaking skald. Let's see if we can split the party into three groups, each exploring a different room, shall we?

The only person I would say truly split the party is Therin who is more than 1 round away from catching up to anyone. Running a dungeon crawl in play by post is tricky cause the players post in their own times. The DM has to say okay hey, who wants to regroup, or give the players time to regroup. In a real table top game of dungeon crawl you give the players time to catch up. As a play-by-post GM the party does split a little bit, posting at different times causes that trouble. And if you are waiting for players to regroup it does bog down the game time a lot. That being said, Therin should probably regroup in case we run into trouble.

The black sheep of the group.

Well, aren't I always.
Therin, have you really been in front of me this whole time, or should someone move your piece again??

![]() |

Wait, what? That is precisely where you are now...yet you haven't been talking to him for a while now, it's just been me.
Where do you MEAN to be right now?

![]() |

I moved the token

![]() |

You mean Therin?? Looks to me like he's still where he was.

![]() |

*eyes Therin suspiciously* I thought the bad guys were the DM's....

Who are we waiting on? (I don't think it's me--I'm busy hugging a ghost!)

![]() |

Tuke Aran could go, but I think the GM meant Kane and he went.
Baldrin was delaying until he had the spellcraft results and they came it so he could go.
Therin was delaying until the others went.
So we are waiting on Baldrum and Therin.

![]() |

Actually it's Tuke I'm waiting on. I better bot so we can move on, but if you're correct about the two delays, go for it.
