"Hooray", announces Lormo, "this one will be easier to bind and he definitely won't die without me looking."

For a moment, elf inspected his new friend and than took one of the ropes and tree branch and made a sliding knot around lizards mouth. He was so deep into doing all stuff so switched into teacher mode and started to speak with invisible audience:
"- So, as you can see, I put branch here, and this rope does not allow lizard to move it out of his mouth. Being unable close his mouth, he is unable to chew the rope and eventually become free."
That way tree branch He tied another knot one other piece of rope and used that as a collar around lizard's neck. He paid attention to measure, how big is lizard's throat and took some precautions, so his new inhabitant does not kill himself.
"- Look at those knots, both look ugly, but this one is specially to protect creature's breathing. I think, as soon as I make a second cage, I will untie him, but for a while, it will be living on short leash."
Than professor Lormo walked to tree a tree nearby, bringing unconcious lizard with him and tied lizard to tree.
"- Now comes a beauty time," announce elf, walking back to his equipment.
This done, he brought whetstone out of his bag and took someone's dagger. It took him sometime, but now this lizard was definitely less dangerous - his short nails were cut and trimmed and polished, so he was unable to use them for damaging someone.

After that done, he returned to breakfast preparation.

Diplomacy to improve morale (spending inspiration): 1d20 + 2 + 1d6 ⇒ (20) + 2 + (2) = 24 Oohoo

"My dear friends, we are here on this island, but this is not the end of the world. I'm not a best in oratory, but I can just summarise what we have achieved. We have build a camp, we have some food, and water, and limited medical supplies. We have tools to work and weapons to fight. This island is full of different animals and they are not afraid to come close. So we can hunt and gather. We are going to do some recon. We need to discover what territories lie nearby and may be it will be beneficial for us to move our camp there. We need to look for other survivors, that might need our help"
He had a sip from his flask and continued:
"You've seen. We have fights and then return. We are determined for our small camp to grow. And you are very important part of all it. I have two hands and one head, and I determined to put all my inspiration into building us a better future. I'm more a mentor, than you captain, leading by example, so I have several small tasks I would like you to complete, while we are away.".

He looked at red-haired girl:
"Sasha, i'd like to ask you to checkout for food nearby. Don't go far, but I've seen some synsepalum dulcificum, sometimes they are called miracle fruit. As well, if you see some cucumis metuliferus, called as horned melon, because it is yellow and horned, please grab couple, but I'm not sure if it is season for those." Sasha - Hunter

Than he looked at gnome:
"Gelik, I would like you to organise a healthy rest here for others, you are good with your stories, so it will keep team spirit up. Of course, don't forget to store some fresh water, since day might be hot" Gelik - Entertainer

Elf noded to half-elf:
"Aerys, I admire your fighting skills. You were very brave in fight with that lizard, so you probably can look stay on watch and fight if wild animals attack. Keep an eye on my zoo, please, I do not expect them to be awake soon, but while I am away just look that they are ok. If you like to use it, here is my long sword; this might be better than just punching and kicking against wild things. As well, I can leave 5 bolts, if someone has a crossbow. If not, you can use them in melee as well, but it is not the best weapon" Aerys - Guard

And to Ishirou:
"As I heard, you set some traps around camp last night, so, I think it would be nice if you could guide us throughout them, so we don't ruin your work. It was great idea, but we need to arrange some kind of secret symbols, so when we return, we do not fell in one of pits. I think we can discuss it in evening, might be some ideas, will come as we settle" Ishirou - Defender

Jask was only, who wash't assign on specific duty.
"My friend, we have brought some stuff from ship, which has not been sorted yet. I'd like you to look through and put aside anything we could use for healing: bandages, clean sheets, any herbs or alcohol. Please, keep an eye on everyone around, I expect that sun might be harsh and they might need to get in shade. If someone get sunstroke, he need to be put in shade and drink lots of water." But today, I felt those people need to have something to hold on... and I was talking about our success as a sure thing, even if it is not... And since I forgot it is not sure, I was talking something.." his speech was more a collection of statements, than normal. Elf realized, he did something unknown to him before.

"Probably, I should ask someone to teach me basics of oratory and conversation dynamics", he resumed, "I always been sceptical about this social thing, but now I see it works. Probably, I need a lesson or two of theory to improve it."
