I could piece something together if I have some input/details to work with.
Some real life examples couldn't hurt either.
Rory Ward wrote:Rory heads towards the blacksmith and purchased a short bow and a quiver of twenty arrows before meeting the others by the outskirts of town.Might have better luck with one of the hunters when it comes to bow shopping.
Nah, Lions are over done ;)
Possible symbols that come to mind are a stag (Obviously they're big in the area though you could argue with the Stag Lord dead it might not fit that well but then again, to the victors go the spoils), a gryphon (Because dragons are also over done ;), or a tiger (not a common one but might fit in better with our nature). A weapon might also fit, but that's more an IC thing for Adular.
I also like Red as one of our colors. There's a lot of symbolism in Heraldry, and while I'm just a layman, I'd like to take advantage of it :)

Well if you guys like my "We will not fall" words to show our stubbornness, perhaps a bull as our sigil animal? Bulls always seemed stubborn to me... But i know they also symbolize strength, justice, and a bunch of other good stuff.
edit: woo! threw this together in paint. No idea about what colors to use. I like the bull as our sigil animal. The sword is to show our loyalty to Gorum as he was one of our big supporters and still is (he is the only god with a temple at the moment...)

Well, all three colors would potentially have meaning but here's a brief summary from the internet
Silver / White – Argent: Signifies truth, sincerity, peace, innocence and purity.
Gold – Or: Signifies wisdom, generosity, glory, constancy and faith.
Black – Sable: Signifies wisdom, grief, constancy and prudence.
Green – Vert: Signifies abundance, joy, hope and loyalty in love.
Blue – Azure: Signifies loyalty, chastity, truth, strength and faith.
Red – Gules: Signifies magnanimity, military strength, warrior and martyr.
Purple – Purpure: Signifies temperance, regal, justice, royal majesty, and sovereignty.
Maroon / Blood Red – Sanguine / Murray: Signifies Fortitude or victorious.
Orange – Tenne / Tawny: Signifies ambition.
Of course, Brevoy related heraldry could have other meanings, but for simplicity's sake I'd say that's a good thing to go on.

Maybe gold instead of red going by those meanings... I know its kinda done to death but it just seems more of what we're trying to build our kingdom to be. Red's good too, i just don't know if it should be the background color... perhaps a red bull instead of a black bull? Or maybe the sword should be red?

Here's what I've managed to piece together based on Rory's initial concept sketch.
The black bull indicates generosity, prideful resistance, stubbornness and strength. The red and orange pale field represents ambition surrounded by victory. The upturned white sword symbolizes power and freedom, tempered by wisdom.
I particularly like how the bull's red eyes stand out against the orange backdrop and how the white lines of its snout make the sword's pommel appear barbed--both adding a subtle sinister undertone to the coat of arms as a whole.
Also, here's a fun website explaining many of the symbols used in heraldry.

I think I got it up now. Just refresh it.
It seems to be keyed to the computer turning on or coming out of hibernate/sleep mode. A restart seems to have kicked it into gear.
EDIT: Recreated it in a better image format and deleted the old file. NEW LINK.

Completely OOC here, but I'm going to see if this helps break the curse or so to speak
Diplomacy:1d20 + 6 ⇒ (15) + 6 = 21
Diplomacy:1d20 + 6 ⇒ (14) + 6 = 20
Diplomacy:1d20 + 6 ⇒ (10) + 6 = 16
Diplomacy:1d20 + 6 ⇒ (14) + 6 = 20
Diplomacy:1d20 + 6 ⇒ (1) + 6 = 7
We'll see if I get half so lucky in gameplay

Isn't he a member of the Order of the Cockatrice? If so, it wouldn't be out of character for him to revel in his new political power and not much care for actually helping the citizens of the town (at least not more than is necessary to further his own reputation).
He may well be quite at home in the background, living it up. At least until his player returns.

Good morning, MC!
I am the infamous Ravingdork, player to the ever beautiful and cold mistress of coin and master of Caerulus' grand library, Riva Sarjenka.
This is the first I've heard of you joining our humble troup. I welcome you! I have seen your character and I find him quite worthy! (Not that, that matters one lick.)
I look forward to slaying monsters and raising kingdoms alongside you, and seeing your true worth.
I have converted everyone's character sheets into much more formal stat blocks similar to what you would find in the NPC Codexes. If you would be so kind as to send me an awesome character portrait of your character, I would be happy to do the same for you.
Be sure to check out the Campaign Info page for some essential information.
For your convenience, I have posted several important links below as well (many of which can be found on the Campaign Info page linked above).

Well, like i said, i like the. Hrm... i keep looking at game of thrones for inspiration on how stuff should look and keep thinking about the circlet/crown of persuasion i'm gonna get eventually and how to flavor bull horns into its appearance.
It's not difficult for knights and soldiers and stuff, just stick horns on the helmet. Either as elegant as Gendry's helmet or as simple as Skyrim's iron helmet. But a crown... a crown is different.

HEllo. I'll have a proper introduction and finish fixing this guy tomorrow afternoon. Just popping in to dot and go to bed.
Sorry it might take me a awhile to figure out how to insert you into the game. Coming as reinforcements in the middle of a fight is always a good one.

Erm, may want to wait for me to finish my sheet first.
