He should work fine as a 1/2 Orc, particularly in Rise as opposed to Jade Regent. I understand Goblins are a rather common enemy in this AP & I'd prefer not to have the town citizens have to do too much IFF.
The main reason I originally imagined him as a goblin was that according to the Jade Regent Player's Guide, Shalelu has a mortal hatred of Goblins & it just tickled me to have her not only wind up saving one, but then over the course of the AP have the two of them realize that they were 'soul mates' ala Han Solo & Princess Leia. In that AP I was also playing him as being perpetually adversarial/competitive with all the prominent NPC's, not actively sabotaging their efforts, just constantly criticizing their choices ala 'This was your brilliant plan?' even as he was saving their bacon.
Considering he is a Paladin of Erastil, I figure I will take Devotee of the Green, seeing as how it would make sense that he knows a bit about nature. I have no problem dropping Sandpoint Faithful, we both already know why he is in the area.

Aight then Irnk, though I must say, hearing his goblin origin made me laugh lol. Anyways, I've had some time to look over backstories, and even though I haven't made a decision yet considering there's more characters coming, I would like to make a few points of notice I saw. I'm not trying to criticize or say no, just pointing out a few things that would definitely have to be cleared up so that there isn't confusion... Anyways, on to the list!
Zoruk: I do like the backstory, just be prepared to answer relation questions with the characters you mention, as there are a fair amount and will require me to figure a few things out to tailor this should you be in the party. Big concern right now though is your class listing. I don't know off the top of my head, but I don't remember the transmuter class, even though it seems that you're a wizard who's under the transmutation class with how it's written. If you can clarify this, I would appreciate it.
Adjin: It definitely is an interesting backstory although I am confused a little. It comes off as a story of your character being bound to darkness, but the revenge part just kinda pops up out of nowhere it seems. I can get behind the whole part of doing good under the shadows of darkness bit, but I can't really see where he fits in with the whole deal. There's a story of him there, but it seems like you're leaving out quite a lot, you know what I mean?
Jack: You've got a 4th problem... How you're going to react when I show just how badly Ameiko can drink you under the table lol. I enjoyed his back story very much, in fact reminded me of a few close friends of mine. Really the only issue here is with his object of affection, if you can give me a few more details cause all I have now is that he pretty much acts like Stan whenever Wendy is around, yet somehow they seem to be drinking buddies, and of course the law issues, considering you just "walked out of prison".
Vanya: Another story I enjoyed reading, however it feels like something's missing and I can't figure if it's something you haven't thrown in yet or are figuring out yourself. You got me wanting to know more about her so I can fit her dreams into the campaign lol.
Artemis: Stats look good, just need a backstory from you.
Irnk: Love the sarcasm, I find these characters fun to interact with. Biggest issue here though is timing. Not trying to give spoilers for those who haven't played this before, so I'm going to send you a personal message to talk about this.
Triel: Good backstory that just screams nothing but drow when I read it. Main issue here is where you've been, considering I really don't read much about how drow beauty and sexuality reaches faster than brutality when majority of the world regards drow with extreme caution and hatred. Not saying that you're wrong in the account, just wanting to know where you've traveled so that statement can make a lot more sense for me considering I've never had an npc treat a drow in that manner yet despite how many people I've had play drow in my campaigns.

Kamak Shadowspeaker, Shoanti on exile. A Bard (Sandman) willing to present their culture. One doubt, frequency of posts?
Her heart was kind and always worried with others, but, none of this governed her life. The curiosity and understanding of the magic were what motivated him. Gradually he has been excluded from the choices of elders. Was banned to participate from important rituals (what didn't impede her of participating discreetly).
The great disaster of his life came when one of the leaders of Sklar-Quah was in a tense meeting to solve if there would be attack to the forces of Cheliax. He entered furtively in the conclave, but it was discovered by the guards. Causing a great agitation, complaints was arising of a possible espionage. The meeting was immediately canceled. Rather than being delivered as a prisoner to Sklar-Quah, Kamak was condemned to the exile. At that moment began his days in search of new discoveries and mysteries. But he could never look into the eyes of their parents again. From that moment on, same maintaining the pride to be a Shoanti, it didn't belonged any more to any place.

Master of Deception (Ex)
A sandman gains a bonus equal to half his level on Bluff, Sleight of Hand, and Stealth checks. He may also disarm magical traps withDisable Device as a rogue’s trapfinding ability.
*Bardic Performance*
A bard is trained to use the Perform skill to create magical effects on those around him, including himself if desired. He can use this ability for a number of rounds per day equal to 4 + his Charisma modifier. At each level after 1st a bard can use bardic performance for 2 additional rounds per day. Starting a bardic performance is a standard action, but it can be maintained each round as a free action. A bardic performance cannot be disrupted, but it ends immediately if the bard is killed, paralyzed, stunned, knocked unconscious, or otherwise prevented from taking a free action to maintain it each round. A bard cannot have more than one bardic performance in effect at one time. Each bardic performance has audible components, visual components, or both. At 7th level, a bard can start a bardic performance as a move action instead of a standard action. At 13th level, a bard can start a bardic performance as a swift action.
Countersong (Su) At 1st level, a bard learns to counter magic effects that depend on sound (but not spells that have verbal components.) Each round of the countersong he makes a Perform (keyboard, percussion, wind, string, or sing) skill check. Any creature within 30 feet of the bard (including the bard himself) that is affected by a sonic or language-dependent magical attack may use the bard's Perform check result in place of its saving throw if, after the saving throw is rolled, the Perform check result proves to be higher. If a creature within range of the countersong is already under the effect of a non-instantaneous sonic or language-dependent magical attack, it gains another saving throw against the effect each round it hears the countersong, but it must use the bard'sPerform skill check result for the save. Countersong does not work on effects that don't allow saves. Countersong relies on audible components.
Distraction (Su) At 1st level, a bard can use his performance to counter magic effects that depend on sight. Each round of the Distraction, he makes a Perform (act, comedy, dance, or oratory) skill check. Any creature within 30 feet of the bard (including the bard himself) that is affected by an illusion (pattern) or illusion (figment) magical attack may use the bard’s Perform check result in place of its saving throw if, after the saving throw is rolled, thePerform check result proves to be higher. If a creature within range of the Distraction is already under the effect of a non-instantaneous illusion (pattern) or illusion (figment) magical attack, it gains another saving throw against the effect each round it sees the Distraction, but it must use the bard’s Perform check result for the save. Distraction does not work on effects that don’t allow saves. Distraction relies on visual components.
Fascinate (Su) At 1st level, a bard can use his performance to cause one or more creatures to become fascinatedwith him. Each creature to be fascinated must be within 90 feet, able to see and hear the bard, and capable of paying attention to him. The bard must also be able to see the creatures affected. The Distraction of a nearby combat or other dangers prevents the ability from working. For every three levels a bard has attained beyond 1st, he can target one additional creature with this ability.
Each creature within range receives a Will save (DC 10 + 1/2 the bard’s level + the bard’s Cha modifier) to negate the effect. If a creature’s saving throw succeeds, the bard cannot attempt to fascinate that creature again for 24 hours. If its saving throw fails, the creature sits quietly and observes the performance for as long as the bard continues to maintain it. While fascinated, a target takes a –4 penalty on skill checks made as reactions, such asPerception checks. Any potential threat to the target allows the target to make a new saving throw against the effect. Any obvious threat, such as someone drawing a weapon, casting a spell, or aiming a weapon at the target, automatically breaks the effect. Fascinate is an enchantment (compulsion), mind-affecting ability. Fascinate relies on audible and visual components in order to function.
Stealspell (Su) A sandman can use performance to steal spells from his foes and add them to his list of spells known. Once the performance is started, the bard can steal a prepared spell or a spell known from another creature with a touch attack as astandard action. The target receives a Will save (DC 10 + 1/2 the bard’s level + the bard’s Cha bonus) to negate the effect. The sandman may choose a spell to steal, but if the target does not possess the spell, the bardic performance immediately ends. Otherwise the spell stolen is random, but it is always of the highest level that the bard can cast, if possible. The target loses the prepared spell or spell known and the sandman adds it to his list of spells known for as long as the performance continues, after which it reverts to the original recipient. While stolen, the bard can cast the spell using his available spell slots. This use does not consume the stolen spell. If the bard steals another spell while a spell is stolen, the previous spell immediately reverts to its original owner. This ability requires visual components. This performance replaces inspire courage.

            @DM KLS
I don't really understand what your asking concerning the class. He is a wizard who specializes in transmutation, so a transmuter. His powers and such are from that school. It's in core, did not even take one of the subschools of enhancement or shapechanger.
As to the relation stuff, Zoruk is a bookworm who met other bookworms. They read and share space to read, that's the way I imagine it. They also discuss stuff. Their relationships would not be overly deep but they would have a fair amount of respect and get along well. Let me know if you want individual details with them.

Kamak: Not gonna lie, your story is a little confusing. I get the main bit, that he was exiled, but the majority of it seems a little muddled to be honest. See if you can unmuddle it a little bit.
Dragon: I was thinking you would probably just use Cheliax, but I wanted to see if there was any other places you could think of, but there is no other place that has more villainy or scum than Cheliax, well at least in Golarion that is lol.
Zoruk: I kinda figured that the base class was a wizard, but I wanted to be sure. I have no problem if you refer in character to yourself as a transmuter, it's nice to hear things other than just "I'm a spell caster" or "I'm just a fighter". Just for the sheet, go with Wizard and note a major emphasis on the transmutation school.

Groff: The does indeed seem to be a shortage. We'll see what the weekend brings. I'll check it out here soon.
Kamak: I figured it was due to not speaking English. I'm not worried about that, I've done forum RP'ing before which does involve a lot of bad English (and some of the worst came from those who actually speak it as a first language if it makes you feel better lol). As long as you can get the main point across I'll be fine with it, but it'll also be up to a group decision as well.
As posting frequency goes, I know schedules get busy, so once a day or every few days at the very least. Just try not to let it go so long that we start questioning what happened to you. Once we get the group together, we'll discuss more as to what our frequency should be according to our normal schedules.

Thank you for the feedback, DM KLS. I think you are right about the revenge thing being confusing. Why would Lo Lulu care whether or not Adjinakou avenged his mother or not? He wouldn't. The Wendo have other concerns. So I added several paragraph's clarifying Ayida's understanding of the Night Lord and Adjinakou's reaction to his mother's sacrifice. I hope it tightens the story up for you. If you need anything else, please let me know.

Artemis: Thanks for the background update, much appreciated. There are a few questions I have, but I can ask later.
Everyone else, my main need right now is healers. I have a good selection of casters to choose from, but am lacking in healers, and characters that are more sociable (rouge, bard, something of the sort) would also be nice as well for those who have interest but no character idea yet.

            Question Regarding Character Building:
Is the Official PRD an acceptable source of information?
Meaning if I find the rule there, may I point you to it? Or anyone else for that matter?
I ask because you said it was because sites said different things that you did not wish to use sites, but seeing as this one is Paizo's official PRD, I thought it didn't hurt to ask.

            I submit Ithylia Nassym, a half-elf bard.
Ithylia was found orphaned in a small farm stead by a group of traveling Varisians as a three-month old baby. It looked to all who saw that the farm had been raided, and all the workers slaughtered. Ithylia was hidden, stowed away asleep and quite. It was luck that she started to cry hungry when the Varisians were near. They did not realize at first that she was a half-elf and took her in as one of their own. It was several months later before they realized she was different. By that time though she was one of them.
Ithylia was taught to play the fiddle and to dance and when she was old enough, to be a distraction. She would dance, perform and otherwise distract people while other members of the family took care of business. Her family also taught her how to use one of their favorite weapons, a bladed scarf.
When she turned 18, Ithylia decided to strike out on her own for a while, to grow. She left knowing she was always welcome to return. After being on her own for about three years, She came across a group of Shoanti who let her travel with them. She had been traveling with them till recently. When she expressed her desire to branch out again, they directed her to Sandpoint. They had a family friend there that could help her out named Jubrayl Vhiski, who could be found at the Fatman’s Feedbag.
Ancestral Arms: Some half-elves receive training in an unusual weapon. Half-elves with this racial trait receive Exotic Weapon Proficiency or Martial Weapon Proficiency with one weapon as a bonus feat at 1st level. This racial trait replaces the adaptability racial trait.
Source: PRD
Fast-Talker: You had a knack at getting yourself into trouble as a child, and as a result developed a silver tongue at an early age. You gain a +1 trait bonus on Bluff checks, and Bluff is always a class skill for you.
Source: PRD
Family Ties: While not ethnically a Varisian, you have been raised among Varisians and they consider you one of their own. Furthermore, you managed to get in good with a group of Sczarni and consider them your new family. After being run out of the last place your Sczarni family camped, you tracked down a friend of the family in Sandpoint—a ruthless thug named Jubrayl Vhiski at the Fatman’s Feedbag. During your time with the Sczarni, you learned a few tricks of the trade. You gain a +1 trait bonus on Knowledge (local) checks and Knowledge (local) is always a class skill for you. In addition, you begin play able to speak and read Varisian.
Source: Rise of the Rune Lords Anniversary Edition Player's Guide
Bladed: Knowing their unkind reputation and that their seductive performances can sometimes bring out the worst in watchers, some Varisians craft rows of razor-sharp blades into their scarves. While one side is all color and sequins, the other hides a deadly weapon. The skill required in using such scarves effectively and not reveal- ing their deadly nature makes them exotic weapons.
A bladed scarf has reach, so you can strike opponents 10 feet away with it. In addition, unlike most other weapons with reach, it can be used against an adjacent foe. You can make trip attacks with the bladed scarf. If you are tripped during your own trip attempt, you can drop the scarf to avoid being tripped. If you are proficient with a bladed scarf, you deal 1d4 points of slashing damage to any creature that makes a successful grapple check against you.
You can use the Weapon Finesse feat to apply your Dexterity modi- fier instead of your Strength modifier on attack rolls with a bladed scarf sized for you, even though it isn’t a light weapon for you.
Pocketed: An elaborate design disguises several small pockets on one side of this scarf. This scarf grants you a +4 bonus on Sleight of Hand checks made to hide objects on your body. This bonus does not stack with the bonus wearing heavy clothing provides, but does stack with bonuses for attempting to hide small objects.

Fireberd: I threw her back up incase you did still want to use her as if you haven't seen the conversation, I'm going to allow anything that I can find on the PRD (look a few posts up as Kana pointed it out for me).
Sethran: Honestly the back story doesn't really seem like a back story to me. It sounds like you're describing someone else, and then all the sudden you've got this whole time travel incident thrown in there like your character had already gone through the whole thing before.
