On the low-light.. I'm just ragging on you about it messing up the vision :) Remember, Shisa's not familiar with glowy rocks so to her, it's a distraction. Part 'wow, neat!' and part 'what the heck is that??' I could see where it would slightly as I don't think the adjustment from low-light to normal (or vice versa) would be instantaneous. Perhaps a few second delay as the eyes adjust to the lighting, but that's jut my interpretation / impression. Kind of like going outside at night from a brightly lit house kind of thing.
as for taking 10.. I consider the fact Shisa's wading in water (no easy feat to move silently although it can be done..sort of) and possibly silhouetted. Not being able to control what may be under foot or the play of light behind me, I think a roll would be more in character. But that's just me.

What really hurt was the 10 point surprise hit that left me with only 4 hps left. The immunity to paralysis would have helped, but hard to stay toe-to-toe when you'd be a one bop drop. At least I brought it to the shallow end of the pool. ;)

I do think they should have put a PC health warning on the Adventure Path though...

To be fair.. they do hint towards the disease/poison in the players guide.
For Example: the paladin piece:

His acceptance speech will consist of thanking the dice bot for her generosity with the fort saves, but condemn her for the attack rolls (and prof's crits). He will also ask that someone takes care of 'Blinky' he needs to be walked once a day, and he likes it when you polish him with holy water, none of that regular junk.

Yah, I remember Prof saying something early on about how the APs tend to be very harsh for low levels.
Fail first roll..and you're looking at a potential negative mod to the fort save for the next one.. ugh. This will get interesting.. Still enjoying it though as it gives a lot of room for the RP aspect.

As Shisa grows, I think her and Aero are going to bump heads a few times, especially in the mindset she's in now. She'll have no problem slitting a cannibal's throat. Mix 2 parts fear, 1 part pissed, and 1 part female rogue and watch the mushroom cloud..
I agree. I think we have a great group dynamic going and it's getting better all the time. Love the narrative nature Prof uses when he posts too. more like a story than "you hit and do x damage". Really draws you into it. It's the character interaction, both between PCs and NPCs that is really making this a great adventure :)
Definetly recommend Greater Fortitude.
I dont think the +4 save bonus from the Heal check (treat disease) stacks does it? As.. Aerodus has a +4 in heal so a take 10 should make that.. dc 13.
Too bad I don't have any levels in crafting traps.. I'd love to reconfigure it to see what we catch on the way back :)
