It's that paralyzing poison Taki made after we fought the super ghouls. It's really her only chance. a naked (sans bracers) rogue against macho man and no room to maneuver. Methinks my measly 10 hps are going to go quick.. Was counting on it being dark and my low-light vision giving an advantage, but he seems to see well enough to see youthful skin across the room. Must be a full moon as Prof did mention moonlight.

Of course, it could have just been the fact that she put on the bracers if they're keeping the gear for some weird reason.. youthful flesh would feel different when he grabbed her. Since she doesn't know what gave her away, it's going to be interesting.

It may be up to Marik and Tony to save us all.. heh.

Actually it's one of the more evil design points of the book that the cannibals all have insanely high Perception skills. The adventure sort of looks a lot like it's much, much, better to sneak into the village than attack it head-on... but then they make it so that even the best level 2 Stealth-specialized halfling rogue is pretty much bound to get spotted. It's a damn tough one, to be sure.

Agreed. The whole module thus far has been rough. Darn fine job of whomever wrote it! Tried subterfuge, but that didn't pan out so well.. should have taken advantage of Taki's language lessons.

Personally.. being the rogue that I am.. I'd gather the troops and get out of dodge. May have to leave one behind to save seven..

Can Aerodus do a Treat Deadly Wounds on Tony? It's a DC:20 Heal check (-2 because we have no Healer's Kit). If he can do that then we can give the CLW potion to another NPC (preferably Jask) and get them up and walking to help carry an unconscious one.

Acid splash isn't gonna' do much to hardness 5 wood, sorry.

Apparently that's a rule change I haven't caught yet. In 3.5 Acid and Sonic ignored hardness. My bad.

Unfortunately it takes an HOUR for treat deadly wounds, I dont think we have that much time...

Ok quick inventory post:

Searching the witch's workshop, between them Shisa and Marik manage to turn up some potentially helpful items: three doses of antitoxin, two smokesticks, three tanglefoot bags, a thunderstone, six healing potions (cure light wounds), and two restorative potions (lesser restoration) (the potions are easily identified by Marik or Shisa via taste). Amongst the myriad alchemical items and components, Shisa also finds something to lighten her hair with, and Marik finds his own spell component pouch!

Meaning:

Whatever you got off the witch
+
3x Antitoxin
2x Smoke Stick
3x Tanglefoot bag
x1 Thunder Stone
x4 CLW potion
x2 Lesser resto

So.. that's a pretty good kit for our infiltrators.. get in trouble throw a tanglefoot, or can at least get our resident swordsman (ishirou) up and awake.

Aerodus is very hesitant to have his lack of stealth put the party in jeporady again... especially since he caused this situation in the first place.

Marik picked up the wand to identify but never mentioned dropping it as well as 3 CLW potions. The rest I'd assume is still in the hut.

Marik only grabbed the three CLW potions, but left the wand and other stuff in the hut. (Didn't think that one through too well)

Realistically how long has it been since we escaped? A half-hour or maybe less? I doubt Klorak is back in bed just yet.

You're right that it's not a huge amount of time since you escaped... but Klorak may have found himself a good reason to go back to bed... ;)
