Tecolote is a flurry of blades as one of his wakzashi's slashes into the blue goblin.

The Goblins retaliate back in kind with blades of their own.

Tecolote feels the goblins blade sink into his stomach just as an arrow slams into his shoulder.

Tecolote dodges just on time to turn the blade from vital organs and then whirls with his own blades on the goblin.

Damage: 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5

Aparctias finally gives up on using his rope dart, too annoyed at the goblin's armor, and decides to bypass it entirely with a burst of cloud shot from his fan.

Green again, goblin takes -2 penalty to attack rolls for 1 round no hit.

Bolger moves to a better position and continues to shoot at the red goblin.

The goblin hisses at Orza as it continues to climb all about. The goblin begins to get brave and slap Orza on the side. Sial holds back on his club as he arcs it to not strike Orza.

Tecolote begins to tire from the complex as his wakizashi's miss the goblin.

Aparctias is finally able to control the winds as the buffet the small goblin. It holds it's hands over his eyes so as to keep the dust out. Bolger hurls a rock at the column.

The Goblins once again respond in kind.

Another Shortsword slashes across Tecolote's flesh as blood begins to pool below the poor Tengu.

Err, that was supposed to be 'on hit' for my ability.

Aparctias takes out his wand and taps Tecolote with it, healing his flesh and rejuvenating blood.

Cure Light Wounds: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 1 = 9

Seeing that shooting into melee does not make sense he drops his sling and draws his morningstar. Then he moves closer.

Tecolote feels his wounds suddenly close and he breathes to Aparctius "Thank you friend." Feeling better, he wheels on the goblin and attempts another pair of stabs and slashes with his wakizashis.

Sial and Orza claw, rake and bash in the red goblin's body as Bolger moves forward. Tecolote's puts a few more scrapes in the goblin's armor as Aparctias heals the Tengu's wounds.

The blue goblin swings his shortsword at Tecolote as the green goblin fires another arrow.

Aparctias ducks when the arrow flies by and reaches for his rope dart again to throw it out at the farther goblin.

Bolger runs around the corner, up/down the stairs and stops next to Sial. double move

Aparctias, Tecolote and Sial all simultaneously strike out at the goblins but miss the small goblins while Bolger rushes to a better position to finish this.

The goblins slash at Orza and Tecolote with their shortswords.

Discontent with the difficulty of hitting his target now that an ally is nearby, Aparctias drops his dart, takes out his fan and steps out of the fog next to Tecolote to flank with Bolger as he lashes out with his fan.

Damage: 1d4 - 1 ⇒ (3) - 1 = 2

Blue goblin.

With his morningstar Bolger triest to hit the goblin in front of him.

Now flanking with Sial, Tecolote tries to get a better angle of attack on his foe.

Orza leaps onto the green goblin tearing it limb from screaming limb as Bolger smashes a rock into the blue goblin's neck effectively breaking it.

"Those goblins sure put up a fight. Let's have a look at what else is here."

In the "pot" Tecolote finds a potion a pair of silver earrings and 60 gp.

"Do we go to the doorway now...? Have we missed anything?

"Looks like there are some stairs behind where the goblins were."

That's behind the magic door

"Can anyone identify that potion?" Aparctias says, pointing at what Tecolote found.

He picks up his weapons and stashes them in his sleeves. "I don't think we've missed anything. Have we all that we need to open the door? Though, if any of us require rest, I recommend doing that before attempting it."

"If we have a gem for each slot in the door i'd say we have what we need, rest if you need it."

I meant the room we just fought in.

Ah gotcha. That stairway just leads back to the room that you fought the fire breathing goblin in. The place is a large circle. You guys have explored every room.

Gotcha. Then back to the fancy door!

At the south end of the hall stands a large stone door. Seven thumb sized sockets are embedded within the door, arranged in a ring around a starburst design.

The picture is above. What do you wish to do with the stones? in what order? and starting in which slot?

"A rainbow configuration perhaps?" Aparctias suggests. "Starting at the bottom-left?"

"A rainbow sounds reasonable Aparctius. Why bottom left instead of top or bottom?"

"Have we found any clues as to the order of the gems placement?"

"No particular reason. It just seems logical to start there to view a rainbow when looking at it."

"Interesting. If it was an arc, I would agree with you, but since it is a ring, I think top is more likely. Like a clock. I don't recall anywhere in the dungeons where we found anything that would provide a clue."

Sial places the stones in the door. A soft click is heard a the door begins to grind open.

A long hallway slopes down into a room's housing to a pool of glowing blue water. Shining gold leaf in exotic designs decorate the walls, ceiling and pillars. A stone archway to the south leads downstairs.
