So at the very least everyone should bow when meeting the ancestor. Taking a knee would likely be better or you could even prostrate yourself.
Decorum is likely a must. Don't speak unless spoken to. You are not sure if you should avert your eyes or gaze upon the dragon.
He would likely appreciate a gift but that is not necessary as you have already protected his lands without asking.
Krazok Vell Firesource
Krazok agrees with most of the information, "Yes taking a knee instead of bowing would be the route to go. Now if you are in a dress a curtsy is plenty. You should gaze upon his majesty and glory. Do not avert your eyes from him as it will be a sign of deceit. He might be able to read your minds but will not do so for it is rude. Only if you shrink from the truth may it be used."

As the group meets in the dining hall she walks in with high heels and a blue dress. On her shoulders is a black furry shawl. She smiles nicely to the group and takes a seat. Her manicured hair and complexion appears immaculate. She takes in the information and is glad she chose a dress for the audience.
Zaidel
Zaidel smiles. "Thanks for help with the social graces. Are we likely to be overwhelmed by his personality, almost like Dragon Fear?"
Krazok Vell Firesource
"No he should repress that, though if someone does undermine him or puts forth a domineering attitude that is likely to be activated as it is the least violent actions in his arsenal." Krazok relays.

Jean comes in and points out, "The portal is outside of the palace." Following Jean is the rest of the group. They seem to have spruced up as well for the audience. You review the given information and as a massive group you head into the palace.
The audience chamber is as it was before and the elders greet you warmly, even clapping as you enter. The speaker states, "The Ancestor is ready for you when you are, he is just counting some coins."
Without any other statements from the elders they guide you to the treasure vault you believe. One of them touch the door and it opens on its own, an obvious entrance for smaller visitors than the host.
There is a splendor to the entire palace which is set in gold. Lush red carpets line the hallways guiding you to your location. There are other hallways but they do not have the carpets.
Entering you find the massive dragon waiting at the far end of the vault.
In a mighty voice he bellows, "Come in! Come in heroes of the Golden Glade. You have proven yourselves worthy of my presence. Come before me so that I may look upon you better!"
"My elders have a Voucher of Service for each of you, you may use these to take up lands within the Goldenlands or can also be turned in for wealth of 5,000 gp or an item from the vault. All items are labeled with their name, properties, and curses if there are any. Within the chests you will find my gifts an item worth 1,000 gp, 3,000 gp, and 5,000 gp."
"You are all welcome to come visit whenever you choose. Just understand I may not be able to entertain you." He chuckles at this then continues, "You may use my palace as your own home, please respect it but the servants will clean up after you."
Once you have all browsed around looking at the many treasures on display or which chest you might select, he asks you all to come before him again. "I have a blessing to give to you if you choose it. It will may metallic dragons your friends and allies. As it will make chromatic dragons your enemies. Your affinity with metallic dragons gains a bonus equal to your Charisma modifier, whereas the opposite is true. If instead I can bless you with the ability to cast a 4th level spell or less, 1/day, 2nd level spell or less, 3/day, or a cantrip."
Zaidel
A very handsome satyr steps forward. Though not as well-dressed as the oracle, the satyr made sure all his gear was clean and any metal he wore shined.
Hand on his heart, the satyr started to bow, but stopped himself and went into a full bent knee.
"Thank you for inviting us, Golden Ancestor. I am Zaidel The Benevolent, Easier of Pain, Fateweaver. A bard and cleric of Cayden Cailean. Pleased to make your acquaintance." Diplomacy: 1d20 + 42 ⇒ (3) + 42 = 45
The satyr tries not to stare at all the gold.

Jean enters and will kneel with a bow as he keeps his eyes on the great dragon. He then says, "Thank you for seeing us, Golden Ancestor. I am Jean, the Chosen Dragon."

Krazok walks in the front of the group, his bronze scales shining as well as his mithril breastplate. In his claws is a bloody large war axe as if straight from battle. He kneels with the rest of you laying the axe on the ground.

With grace and poise, she walks in the form-fitting blue dress with the others. Her well-manicured hair glittered with some kind of particles, making the raven-black locks look like the sky. As the others kneel she curtsies. She says with deference to the great creature before her, "Thank you for the audience. I am Jellena Darkling, High Priest and Oracle of Mistress."
---
Later near the end of the audience she asks, "We have some wishes to make. I was wondering if you would like to observe?"
Mia Thornrose
As stately as normal, she has dancing lights on her dress. She graciously states, "Your most glorious Ancestor thank you for taking time for us lowly adventurers. Ariel Gloris greets you. I am Queen Thornrose of the Black Spire."
Ramie Jae
Before entering the palace, or exiting the scepter, or whatever marked the transition of where she was before and where she was going... Ramie put on her Sleeves of Many Garments and pictured her perfect outfit. She despised dresses and so she appeared to be wearing a velvet waistcoat of deepest cobalt blue trimmed in silver butterflies over a flowing white poet's blouse. Her trousers flared out over her boots, black with silver pinstripes.
"Greeting and salutations, your Imminence. I'm Ramie, Court Bard, Summoner and Chosen of Desna." She bows deeply and then sinks to one knee for good measure as she continues. "I'm... well, new to Arcanium, so I hope you'll forgive my questions. Lore where I came from says that all Metallic dragons are good and noble while all chromatic dragons are evil and self-interested. But there are still exceptions to the rule. Is this how it stands in Arcanium as well? You said we would gain a bonus for the affinity... what would the bonus apply towards, if it is permissible to ask."

The Ancestor relays to the group, "There is a chest of wealth filled with coins and gems in the amount of 7,000 gp for each of you along the path you just traversed. He answers Ramie's question with a whisper; it still is loud enough to hear, "Yes, most metallic dragons are good, whereas chromatic dragons are evil. The affinity gives you a bonus on Diplomacy, Bluff, intimidate, and perform checks.
Are there any other questions?"
Matthew_Locke
He walks forward with the group head held high. As they bow or kneel he takes a knee as well, then puts one hand as a fist to the ground.
Later walking around and seeing all the treasures he finds one chest to his liking. He waves his hand and yells, "Once we find our chest may we take our reward?"
Adding to my wealth: 7,000 gp in gems and coins,
Item worth 1,000 gp, diamond dust
Item worth 3,000 gp, Lesser Crystal of Energy Assault (fire)
Item worth 5,000 gp, treasure map to Ring of Retribution

"My elders have a Voucher of Service for each of you, you may use these to take up lands within the Goldenlands or can also be turned in for wealth of 5,000 gp or an item from the vault."[/b]
The satyr kneels deeply again when presented the Voucher of Service. "Great Golden Monarch, This is a tremendous gift. And I humble thank you. But I am already tasked to serve another land as protector. In a far off forest near the town of Owl Port. I hope to return there soon to make a life for myself there."

"Thank you for your vast hospitality, my Lord. I shall endeavor to be a good guest in your mighty home and country."

Zaidel cautiously raises his hand. "Will this blessing also affect half-dragons, as well as sorcerers and bloodragers with ties to metallic dragons?" Regardless of the answer, Zaidel takes the Gold Monarch's blessing.
"One of the best days of my new life here in Arcanium was the day I became friends with Jean!" The satyr motions up to the bronze dragon. "If I can make more metallic dragon friends like Jean, it would most definitely be a true blessing indeed!"| Zaidel |
After the blessing, Zaidel approaches The Golden Monarch once more. "A day or so, I gave your Elders some very unique coins from my old world. If you will allow me, I'd like to present you with another gift from this world. It is a magical mace. It's too unwieldy for me, but perhaps you could gain some use of it. It also has a threatening aura about it, so I wish you and your ministers to use caution."
The satyr carefully moves magical heavy mace that glows red, from his caydenite bag of holding.
Ramie Jae
Ramie nods, continuing to consider the ramifications. "You are very generous with your gifts, your Imminence. I hope you will continue to be patient with me, I have a few more questions. The bonus we would gain is toward metallic dragons, do I have that right? Even though, if they were already our allies, we would likely have no need to ever cajole, deceive, or intimidate those who are our friends. And by "the opposite is true", do you mean that we suffer under an equivalent penalty when facing chromatic dragons, making us that much less able to deceive or intimidate them? I ask, because my bardic performances are more focused on causing my enemies to be less effective at killing myself and my friends, and if I have understood correctly, that would put me at a severe disadvantage should I ever face off with a chromatic dragon."
"I fear I don't have anything to present as a gift, but I'd be happy to perform for you. Not the kind that debuffs an enemy, of course. Do you prefer song or theatrical?"

The satyr is really looking forward to the blessing! How will it be done? Will claws be involved? Zaidel is so excited!
Krysta Amethysta
She slaps Krysta's exposed rump and states, "No I don't want a dead fish, I want you to please me, touch me, ravage me. Otherwise its time to get up."
Krysta quickly shifted to pin Jellena beneath her and said, "As you wish," she leaned shifted to press down atop her, her face and lips barely an inch from Jellena's, "Mistress." Krysta leaned in to steal Jellena's lips with her own. Krysta's tongue, still forked despite her now generally human form, teased Jellena's lips as she kissed her Mistress.
______
Later after they get away from the others and back into Krysta's room she slowly strips off her workout outfit and slips into the bath. The bathtub is large enough to accommodate them both. She looks up and states, "Get in here with me. I will have you scrub me down and then I can return the favor. After that I want you to massage my legs and maybe more."
Once she is all oiled up from the massage she would return the favor if Krysta wants.
Then she pulls from her cloak a few nice outfits. None that would fit on the half dragon form. The other black outfit is a bit more revealing. There is a nice blue dress. Also she produces a purple dress.
She also would show off the Green Screen to Krysta. "This is the Boost System. You can spend your daily boost points here to gain additional benefits. See here this is what I have used so far."
Krysta gave her Mistress the massage she requested but she was not very good at it. She accepted one in return and, feeling what it could be like, she resolved to learn to do this better if it could make Jellena feel this good.
The dresses that Jellena pulled out were not the style that Krysta had ever worn in her past life, she would have looked really good in them if she had but she was always too timid to do so. Now, she felt that it would be nice to wear something like these, even if only for her Mistress' enjoyment.
As things continued and Jellena showed Krysta the Green Screen to introduce her to the Boost System. It was interesting what could be done and she perused her options for a bit. "Hmm, this seems to be the list of what you can do here right?" After looking she said, "I think I will wait until tomorrow after the daily quest, That puts me at some really good options..." Krysta hesitated and then asked, "or do you get them as you reach the listed points?"
Ring of Protection +4,
Cloak of Resist +2 or Cloak of Elvenkind,
Boots of the Cat or of the mountain,
and the Youthful Draught of the Mistress.
Krysta was surprised and her eyes opened at the sight of the items. She gratefully accepted the items and set them to the side carefully and, once she had, glmphed onto Jellena in a hug as she said, "Thank you Mistress! I will use them well." Once she had disentangled herself from Jellena, Krysta took the drought and put the various items on. When she was done she gave Jellena back the cloak of elven kind and the boots of the mountain as she chose the resistance and cat ones.
She takes a moment and draws forth a wand from her cloak. With a quick incantation she uses the wand upon Krysta. She finishes with a, "Ta Da!" The negative level is removed. Then she explains with a sheepish look, "Well it seems that I still have all the group loot health items from my previous team. We had a wand of restoration. Krysta once you have the money you can pay back the material cost."
Krysta felt the magic of the wand touch her and suddenly felt much better! The weakness was gone and she felt like she was ready for the day now. "Thank you Mistress, I will make sure to repay you for the use when I can."
___
As everyone gathered and got the details of their meeting with the ancestor Krysta was wearing a purple dress while in her human form. She looked like she felt awkward and bashful about how racy it was to her. She listened to the instructions given to them about their behavior carefully as she did not want to screw this meeting up.
___
When the meeting time arrived Krysta entered just behind Jellena, remaining to her right and curtsied right after Jellena did and said, "I am Krysta, a Chosen of The Mistress and also newly arrived in this world."
Krysta did not have much that she could gift the Ancestor right now but she resolved that she would have something the next time she came to see him. She would not turn down the blessing and said, "I will accept your blessing, thank you."
The itmes chosen.

She steps forward and requests, "Greater Invisibility please."

Once all blessings are laid upon the group she steps forward again. Confidently she states, "Wishcraft! Now before the Ancestor and my new group, I ask the holy mother, Mistress! I wish that I be able to gain the
Sublime template by being a recognized member of Ariel Gloris to gain Hexproof and all other bonuses!"
Then she channels three times and casts quickened cure light wounds...

The dragon nods to Jellena, "I would like to see that. Now step forward and I will bless you."
Those who step forward without words are touched by the forehead to the end of one of his claws. Those asking for a spell instead are touched on your chest. With the touch, he says arcane words and imprints a tattoo onto the location.
He moves his tail playfully and expectantly waits for the wishcraft.

Zaidel could feel the dragon's power enter his body. The satyr reflexively felt his forehead, and it felt very warm to the touch. Something had definitely happened, but the cleric would wait to see the area later with a mirror.

Jean accepts the blessing and says, "I would like to cast the spell Restoration once each day to help those who are hurt."

Ramie considers carefully, but decides that the penalty involved is too great a risk. "While I will always strive to be friendly with good dragons, I will just have to befriend them by my own merit. I would like to be able to cast Blessing of Fervor on my friends." And she and Floof stepped forward, bowing their heads, "Thank you for your blessing."
She chose a chest with an interesting assortment of items. A Blinkback Belt. 5,000 gp
A Lesser Metamagic Rod of Extend. 3,000 gp
And a Cloak of Resistance, 1,000 gp which she promptly draped over The Floof.
On cue, Ramie and Floof channeled to help fuel the positive energy pool Jellena's wish drew from.

Zaidel provides multiple Channel Energy bursts to help power Jellena's wish. "Welcome to the Cool Kids Club!"

You would have seen an interesting sight. She took the whole amount of wealth, and by the handful, it disappeared into her shawl. She would have done the same with Krysta's chest contents. If you don't have such accommodations you might ask for help. Krysta do record your treasure amount on your own sheet.
With a pleasant smile and accompanying demeanor, she retorts, "Why thank you, Zaidel, Mistress is so loving. I appreciate how well your group mingles and lets others participate." A mischievous smile creeps upon her face, "I don't have any plans at the moment. What is this quest? Krysta will be coming along." Looking over her shoulder she easily sees her shadow and servant.

"Now. I know my Charisma score is at Epic levels, but the dirty pervert within me wants to learn Blue Magic. From what I understand it is all the major schools of magic focused through the lens of seduction and sex. But I figure asking other Golden Glade citizen to assist them, and make them happy in Rated-G ways could also complete the quest. But learning Blue Magic is my goal!"
Ramie Jae
Ramie giggles at the disappearing trick Jellena was performing, she stopped after pocketing a few hundred gold and realizing she had no where else to put it. "Ah, good point. All of that gold is a bit hefty to carry. Could you stow mine away too? I guess a bag of holding or something of the like needs to go on the shopping list. Oh man... we need to go shopping!" She babbled, head spinning at the prospects.
On Zaidel's impending quest, she remembered, "Oh yeah, I signed up for that too. A group of workmen said they unwind at the Wyvern's Roost in the evenings."
She wrinkles her nose at the mention of Zaidel's preferred reward. "Blue Magic? Wasn't that a joke supplement book? Nymphology, or something. Honeyed Tongue looks like a spell... not bad. But what is The Art?" She asks, falling into step to go see about the diplomatic quest with a cheerful Floof on her heels.
Jellena Darkling
|
Jellena shakes her head in agreement to Ramie, confidently she states, "Yes I should be able to hold your wealth as well. Though we should look for bags for everyone. I believe we can go speak with the elders and they can facilitate the specifics of buying things from the vault."
At the mention and reading of Blue Magic, she adds, "Now Blue Magic is something up my alley. If that is what it is. Honeyed Tongue might be a spell or a bonus on your diplomacy, which I don't think any of us needs. If Blue Magic is sex magic, then The Art would likely be the art of seduction or something like the Kamra Sutra. At least from my experience. Let me check." She then closes her eyes and pulls out some stones with a black bowl. She drops them into the levitating bowl and then looks at what landed where. She does this several times and then says, "Yes my assumptions are aligned with the rewards. So I will be learning Blue Magic! I already know The Art."
Krysta Amethysta
She smiled and enjoyed the press of Krysta's body on top of hers. Her lips welcomed the attention, entangling their tongues. She grabs her butt cheeks and claws up her back with her nails. Then rubbed her fingers back down. She comes up for air with a rugged breath before plunging back into Krysta.
Krysta was not one to be dominant in relationships, especially this one, but she had been told to not just lie there and she was going to make sure her Mistress enjoyed it. Just as Jellena came back in for a further kiss Krysta used the moment to take the tip of her tail, and pressing the tip of it just inside of her Mistress' slit.
Yeah, already added the wealth and gear onto my sheet. I thought I put my finalized list of chosen gear up after it was pointed out the amulet was separate and the prisoner's ring already was a ring o sustenance. The items chosen ended up being.
5,000 gp: Bracers of Armor +2
3,000 gp: Handy Haversack
1,000 gp: Cracked Prism Dusty Rose Ioun Stone
When Jellena went to put Krysta's wealth away in her shawl Krysta gestured for her to stop and instead put her wealth in her new pack. It was good to have a way to carry her on things and this pack was designed so her scales weren't going to be a problem. It would even leave her wings free when she needed them so it was perfect!
The discussion of the next quest, after their meeting with the Ancestor, and that Jellena was bringing Krysta with her, made the half-dragon very happy and she responded eagerly, "Yes Mistress," when Jellena looked back at her.
Zaidel
Zaidel MARVELED at the blue tome in his hands. "Cayden! IT'S REAL! Blue Magic! In the palm of my hand!"
The satyr smirked with a wink at Jellena and Krysta. "..And I have study-buddies!"
"Well!" Zaidel breathed. "I'm off to bring so much happiness to the citizen of The Golden Glade!" The cleric pats the blue book as he slips it in his kilt pouch. "I'll likely study and restudy the tome every night, cutting into my Green Screen shopping, but totally worth it, I pray!"
Jellena Darkling
|
Jellena nods happily to Krysta as they work on putting her wealth into her own bag and she whispers praise, "Excellent adaption, it is good you are learning. You deserve a reward."
Ramie Jae
Ramie seemed somewhat dismayed by the revelation that The Art was more of the same. "Well, Floof and I will work toward more PG results, thank you much." If anything, being relieved of physical obligations toward a partner was freeing, and one of the more enjoyable aspects of her new existence here.
But helping people was certainly still within her wheelhouse, so she proceeded on.
Zaidel
"Hey!" Zaidel said, as he turned around to the bardic summoner. "Let's find out if there is a performing space. That was you can hopefully make potentially make a large number of people happy at the same time. You know, lean into your role as bard."

Jean, Zaidel, Mia, Angelica, Jellena, Krysta and Ramie head out of the palace and to the town. It really is more of a village. You easily find the only tavern Wyvern's Roost, or the only restaurant, Delicious Catches.
The Wyvern's Roost is a cozy, rustic tavern nestled at the edge of a quiet farming village. The structure is built from sturdy timber, with ivy and moss creeping up the walls. A large, intricately carved wooden sign hangs above the door, depicting a fierce wyvern in mid-flight, its wings spread wide in a pose that seems to guard the tavern. Inside, the warm glow of a crackling hearth casts long shadows across the room, its flames dancing in a stone fireplace adorned with dragon-shaped reliefs. The low murmur of conversation mixes with the sound of a lute strumming gently in the corner.
The tables are simple, made from dark oak, worn smooth by years of use. The walls are decorated with dragon-themed trinkets—scaled lanterns, a dragon skull mounted above the bar, and iron sconces shaped like wyvern claws. The air smells of roasted meats and freshly baked bread, and the low hum of contentment fills the room as local farmers come in to wind down after long days in the fields. The atmosphere is relaxed, with the laughter of old friends, the clinking of tankards, and the crackle of firewood setting the tone for a comforting evening.

Delicious Catches is a quaint, cheerful restaurant located by a gentle stream that meanders through the village. The building itself is light and airy, with large windows that overlook the water. The scent of freshly caught fish fills the air, mingling with the herbal aroma of the vegetables grown in the nearby gardens. Inside, the décor is rustic yet charming—simple wooden tables with flower vases and sea-themed decorations, like driftwood and seashells.
The owner, **Isla Fairweather**, is a woman in her late thirties with sun-kissed skin and an easy smile. Her long, auburn hair is tied back in a loose braid, and she has a lively energy about her that matches the vibrant atmosphere of her establishment. She knows everyone by name, often greeting regulars with a hug or a joke, and takes pride in the quality of the fish she serves. Isla is known for her culinary skill, particularly her signature dishes featuring river fish and fresh herbs, which locals claim are "the best in the land." She's the kind of person who has a warm word for everyone, and her contagious laughter often rings through the restaurant.
The waitress, **Lena**, is a young woman with a quick wit and a mischievous glint in her eye. She’s always running around with a tray of food or a jug of cider, effortlessly balancing the demands of the busy restaurant. Lena’s hair is dark and straight, kept tucked behind her ears with a few loose strands falling to frame her face. She’s often seen joking with the customers, making them laugh, and keeping the atmosphere light-hearted and jovial. Though her job requires her to be on her feet constantly, she never seems to tire, her energy always high as she checks on tables and offers friendly banter. She’s a natural, making everyone feel welcome and part of the village family.
Jellena Darkling

She walks into The Wyvern's Roost and smiles. She walks to the owner, the male dragonkin sitting next to the fire. She whispers into his ear. He nods and she goes over to the corner. She pulls out a crystal ball, the obsidian bowl, and her charms. Next, she produces a painting and puts it on the wall without any tools. It just sticks there saying, "Mistress Oracle, have your fates read."
Zaidel
Watching Jellena enter the Wyvern's Roost, Zaidel decides not to crowd her, seeing how both oracle and cleric seek the secrets of Blue Magic. The satyr wants Jellena to accomplish her quest as much as he does.
So Zaidel decides to enter the Delicious Catches; the satyr having a long history of enjoying seafood on this world, and his old one.
The handsome satyr walks through the restaurant's door and waits to be acknowledged.
"Hello. May I please speak to the owner?"

"Good evening, Miss Fairweather. My name is Zaidel, Chosen of Cayden Cailean. This may sound silly, but I'm on a quest to bring as much happiness as I can to the citizens of The Golden Glades. No! I'm serious! So, I'd like to ask if I can help you in any way, to bring you some joy. I can wash dishes, help in the kitchen, bus tables, do some handywork? I'm a talented musician. I could play for you patrons. Whatever you like! Is there anything I can help you with to make you happy?"
